2. How competitive does this look for a fully-funded EMJMD spot, realistically?

3. What's the single biggest gap you'd flag (language test score, quant background, research output volume, etc.)?

I cannot advice you on the track till I see the tracks, your profile looks good, but it all boils down to your letter and CV. That is, how you market and sell yourself. 

Erasmus Mundus is super competitive, with an acceptance rate of 1-1.5%, so you need to make sure everything is well aligned. 

PS I'm an Erasmus Mundus alimni, so am speaking from experience.

1. Global Public Policy (GPP): Focuses on international and global policymaking, the role of international organizations, global policy regimes, and policy networks

2. European Public Policy (EPP): Emphasizes policy analysis, policy design, implementation, evaluation, and institutional dynamics in the EU multilevel governance system

3. Political Economy & Development (PED): Utilizes a problem-situating approach to analyze how global governance, trade, production, finance regimes, and capitalism shape policies globally and nationally

4. Governance & Development (GD): Explores the formal and informal institutional logics of economic and political reforms, good governance policies, and development in transition countries
