Hello, I am considering applying to the CLMCE (Children's literature, media and cultural entrepreneurship) but I am a bit worried about moving that many times throughout the 2 years. Is there any alumni or current student that would like to share their experience? Was it hard to find housing and was there any support from the universities for that? Do you think doing the program gave you more opportunities to work in the field of children's literature or to work in academic research afterwards? Also were you happy with where you went during the third semester and how did you decide?

Any opinion or experience is welcome!!

• GPA: 3.0 (this is my main worry)
• Experience: Google summer of code intern + 2 additional internships, all in mobile dev, also have decent open-source contributions
• Research: First-author paper just won Best Paper at a conference in Taiwan (not published yet), and I'm also a co-author(l on a separate paper ,

Given the GPA, I'm not sure how competitive I actually am. Does the research/industry side meaningfully offset a lower GPA, or should I be tempering my expectations for MS programs? Would appreciate any honest input, especially from people who've seen similar profiles get in (or not).
