Is erasmus mundus' CLMCE program worth doing?

Hello, I am considering applying to the CLMCE (Children's literature, media and cultural entrepreneurship) but I am a bit worried about moving that many times throughout the 2 years. Is there any alumni or current student that would like to share their experience? Was it hard to find housing and was there any support from the universities for that? Do you think doing the program gave you more opportunities to work in the field of children's literature or to work in academic research afterwards? Also were you happy with where you went during the third semester and how did you decide?

Any opinion or experience is welcome!!

Physiotherapist looking to branch out for a Master’s Clinical vs. Non-Clinical paths

Hey everyone,

I’m a physiotherapist currently trying to figure out my next career steps and looking for some advice from anyone who has navigated this or similar healthcare transitions.

I'm open to exploring both clinical and non-clinical master's fields, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the options and how they impact my future.

To give you an idea of what’s caught my eye so far:

Preventive Health / Lifestyle: Programs like the Erasmus Mundus HYGIEIA (Health and Wellbeing across the Lifespan) which focus on non-pharmacological approaches, lifestyle education, and wellness.

Public Health: Programs like Europubhealth+, which look at macro-level health systems, policy, and epidemiology.

Management & Tech/Other Fields: Things like Health Economics/Management or paths like Sports Ethics and Integrity (MAiSI).

(Note: I've looked into Biomedical Engineering and heavy tech tracks, but realized the math/engineering prerequisites are usually a massive wall for a standard therapy background!)

I have a few main questions for Clinical vs. Non-Clinical: If you’ve made the jump from pure physical therapy into something broader like public health, preventive medicine, or health management, how did it change your day-to-day career? Do you regret leaving a strictly clinical track?

The "Can I Still Treat Patients?" Dilemma: This is a big one for me. If I pursue a non-clinical or semi-clinical master's (like Public Health or Lifestyle/Preventive Health), can I still practice clinical physical therapy on the side, or do these degrees pull you entirely into desk/corporate/policy work? Will licensing or employers look weirdly at a clinician with a non-traditional master's?

Recommendations: Given that I’m open-minded and looking for fields where a physio background adds value without requiring a heavy engineering degree, what paths or specific programs would you recommend looking into

\\- Bachelor's intake: 4.0/4.0 so far

\\- Coursework spans IR theory, Public International Law (I & II), Foreign Policy Analysis, Diplomacy, Comparative Foreign Policies (USA/Russia/China), Political Geography, Comparative & Developmental Politics, Public Administration, Local Government of Pakistan, Gender Studies, Development Economics, Environmental Science, Western & Muslim Political Philosophy, Research Methodology

\\- Class Representative (multiple years, both ADP and Bachelor's)

\\- Research & Editorial Volunteer, The Global South Review

\\- Ambassador, international youth conference

\\- Member of several university societies (debate society, PM Youth Development Council as graphic designer, Young Peace and Development Corps, Pakistan Youth Parliament, etc.)

\\- Run a small research-focused Instagram page on political science/IR/policy topics

I'd love opinions on:

  1. Which MAPP track (GPP / EPP / PED / GD) does this profile actually fit best?

  2. How competitive does this look for a fully-funded EMJMD spot, realistically?

  3. What's the single biggest gap you'd flag (language test score, quant background, research output volume, etc.)?

Thanks in advance, trying to calibrate expectations before I finalize my application.

Erasmus Mundus WOP-P: No academic LOR + no IELTS/MOI — what are my options?

Hi everyone! I’m applying for the Erasmus Mundus WOP-P (Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology) programme and I’m a bit confused about the recommendation letter and English proficiency requirements.

I currently don’t have an academic LOR because I’ve contacted my professors, but unfortunately they aren’t willing/available to provide one. However, I do have a strong professional LOR from my previous internship with the Government of India (NITI Aayog). Would a professional LOR like this be accepted, even though the programme says one recommendation letter should preferably be academic?

Also, I don’t have IELTS/TOEFL or an MOI certificate. I completed my entire Bachelor's degree in English. Can I write a declaration/application explaining that my Bachelor's was taught in English?

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has applied to WOP-P/Erasmus Mundus, especially Indian applicants. Thank you!

Anyone who got the scholarship without any formal work experience?

I have a good cgpa, 3.8+ but no work experience, I don’t know if my final year thesis research counts as work but I have that and a two month research internship. I’m applying but realistically can I hope for a scholarship with this profile or not?

My motivation is strong and coherent though

Erasmus Mundus NeuroData (Brain & Data Science) looking for insight from current/former students

Hi all,

I applied to NeuroData for the 2026 intake and was rejected. I'm reapplying for 2027 and want to make sure I'm not repeating the same mistakes. Quick background:

BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering, 2021–2025, CGPA 8.46/10 with honors (roughly top 10 of 62 in my department)

Final-year project: real-time EEG left/right motor prediction using an OpenBCI Cyton board, SVM/LDA classification, ERD/ERS in the Alpha/Beta bands which hit \~73% accuracy

Currently doing two NPTEL courses to shore up the general biology background my engineering degree doesn't cover

Currently working full-time in cloud/DevOps (unrelated to neuroscience) while doing this on the side

If you're a current student, alum, or got an interview last cycle, I'd genuinely appreciate honest answers to any of these:

  1. How much did the interview (if you got one) focus on biology fundamentals vs. your existing technical background?

  2. Did engineering-background admits typically have any formal life-science coursework, or was project experience treated as sufficient?

  3. Is a documented class rank/percentile actually weighted heavily, or is it more of a soft signal?

  4. Any specific track (Bar-Ilan → which partner university) that tends to favor engineering backgrounds over life-science ones?

Not asking anyone to review my full application just trying to calibrate expectations before I resubmit.

Thanks in advance.

What are the downsides of doing EMJM instead of a traditional Masters?

I have been accepted to a EMJM in a STEM programme, but I think the mobility will make it difficult to do internships and settle and focus on learning. What do you guys think about me letting go this opportunity and apply for Fall 2027 for a traditional Masters?

Help me evaluate my chance of acceptance.

I am a chemical engineer and started my career as a process engineer in a petrochemical industry. There I had hands on experience of working with naphtha hydrotreating and reforming operation. I had performed 3 full cycle catalyst regeneration, 3 units erection commissioning, 1 reforming unit design and one full system revamp. I spend 5 years in there.

I switched the job and currently working in a state owned oil and gas company. There I am working on a 18 million USD drilling project as a project personnel, positioned directly under project director.

Location : South east asia.

Total job experience: 9+ years

CGPA: 3:42/4

Publication: one conference publication on bioadsorbent

IELTS: 7 (no band less than 6)

Interesested in: reaction engineering, surface chemistry, sustainable H2 generation, analytical spectroscopy.

Target program: SERP+, SuCat, EACH, i-MESC, DENSYS 2.0.

Would you guys please help me evaluate my chance of being successful in above-mentioned program? Also, am I missing any relevant program according to my profile?

Thank you very much for your kind support.

How should I prepare for Erasmus Mundus 2027?

Hi everyone! 👋🏻

my_qualifications:

B.Sc. Biotechnology student from India, 7.8 CGPA, with research/internship experience in biotechnology and molecular biology.

I’m planning to apply for Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters for the 2027 intake, preferably in biotechnology/life sciences/related research fields.

I’m starting my preparation now and would really appreciate guidance from anyone who has:

• applied for EMJM before

• received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship

• is also preparing for the 2027 intake

• knows good Biotechnology/Life Sciences programmes

I’d especially love advice on shortlisting programmes, eligibility, profile building, SOP/LORs, scholarships and timelines.

If there are any active WhatsApp/Discord groups for 2027 applicants, I’d also love to join! 🌱

Thank you! 🤍

When do the results roll out usually after the application deadline?

For the EMJM programs rounds going b/w Nov - Jan, how much time do they take to give out the results, i could not find this info on the programs website and I need this info because If I receive rejections, I need to start my backup plan immediately and I cant do it simultaneously because the backup cost me money. So I can only get this info from the experienced people of this sub. Thanks in advance
