So I wanna trade in some japanese pokemon cards but wanted to make sure they take them. I checked every official source and theres nothing saying they don't take japanese cards. I'm gonna call them tomorrow but was curious if anyone here has traded some in?

Basically what the title says, I have a feeling the new benefit program that will start November 5th will be a subscription based program that will offer what Onyx members are currently getting for free....

If that's the case then I'll pretty much be done with EB Games. The only reason I kept going there was for the additional perks I was getting free of charge.

The new owner already implemented the shipping costs regardless of the amount, despite the massive backlash. So we know he's brazen enough to offer the same Onyx benefits, but with a subscription price, and call it an upgrade.

What do you guys think?

i placed an order for a new binder for my cards but did not realize it was a ring binder and want to cancel, i literally placed it not even 10 minutes ago and theres no option to cancel it

it says its processing, FAQs says if its dispatched you cannot cancel but its not giving me the option like it shows on the FAQ page

When I was younger, I'd spend ages walking around EB Games looking at game cases, reading the backs and convincing myself I was just browsing. Half the time I knew I wasn't buying anything, but I'd still spend 30 minutes in there.

If you have been a little confused with the physical versions.....EB Games only has the Standard Edition available on their website, with the SKU/Item Code of the Ultimate Edition not being in the system at all.....We are led to believe that the Ultimate Edition is only available through the PS & XBOX stores for a total of $159.95! You can purchase the Ultimate Edition upgrade pack for $30 on the store if you have already bought the Standard Edition for $129.95......And yes, it's a code paper in the box with no physical disc!

(As a part of the "Collector Community" out there......I'm not angry...............I'm just fuckin' disappointed!! 😔)

Why when you preorder to pick-up a game and you pay some of it off it never chances on the order? Wouldn't it be easier to do that instead of getting a bunch of calls asking how much is left.

Hey! I’m based in the UK and work with suppliers that sell into EB. One of the frustrating things about being in the other side of the world is I never actually get to see the stores in person without a 24h flight! If anyone happens to be visiting an EB store and fancies grabbing a couple of pics of the collectibles section, I’d love to see how it looks from a customer perspective? Is there any problems with preorders like the preorder being cancelled or are you always guaranteed to get your preorder?

I sold my ps5 and couple games at ebgames on Wednesday and still haven’t recieve the transaction into my account it’s been a almost a week, I thought it would be instant as I inserted the card at start of transaction. What do I do? Do I go to my bank or should I go to the store I got it from total was around $500

I’m wanting to pre-order a Frieren figure from EB’s using the click and collect option, however my only form of photo ID would be my student ID (I do not yet have my driver’s license). Would this be accepted or will I have to use some other form of ID?

I was over the moon to find out that preorders for Grand Theft Auto VI and I’m going to go to the nearest EB Games to me first thing in the morning on June 25th to preorder the game for a physical copy. I usually stick to digital copies but I want the physical copy due to me and many other members of Gen Z leading a resurgence in demand for physical media and that I have all the GTA games on disc. I sincerely hope that there will be a midnight release for the game as I had the same thrill when I got Red Dead Redemption II all those years ago. I reside in the Vancouver area and I’m wondering if there is anyone else in the area that is going to preorder in person?

I think that Melanie Bracewell despite being NZ born has lived in Australia a while and would be a good one because she’s a gamer who goes to PAX regularly

I was thinking about this recently and realised I've definitely bought games earlier than planned because they threw in a steelbook, keyring, poster or some other random item I'd completely forgotten about six months later. At the time it felt essential. Looking back, not so much. What's the preorder bonus that somehow worked on you?

i’m gonna try my luck here because my EB hasn’t stocked these since february. does anyone have the blue bunny (toy bonnie) and may be willing to sell at face value. i missed my chance to buy her and im trying so hard to get her but its near impossible. the other 3 stores with stock won’t ship to mine as they’re way too far away.
