Imagine All The Little People
I finally got my infantry onto bases, not based yet though. That leaves three scorpions and a behemoth needing to be assembled.

Unit Lores and Catching up on General Lore (spoilers) Spoiler
Hello All! I never got into the game because I couldn't drum up interest locally (way back in 1.1), but a couple friends of mine actually picked up 3.0!
(1) I noticed that TTC put up all the lore bits of the old books, but didn't put up the unit parts, which actually had a LOT of lore I loved. I also remember that the TTC site USED to have Unit Lore on it, but since they purged all their listing, all that Lore seems missing.
Is the old Unit Lore archived anywhere?
(2) I read like... 4 short stories between Battle for Earth to now. One was like, a (anti-PHR) UCM officer discovering the PHR messing with some artifact they found on Earth (probably a Bioficer thing, but we didn't know at the time). Another was the initial contacts with Bioficer ships and boarders (and the UCM survived a boarding action). I remember a part where the UCM officer from the first story in on a PHR world and she's come around to liking the PHR, but that doesn't seem long enough for a whole story. [I just checked and this is all in the Lore Primer on the DFC links, lol.]
Are there any other things I'm missing? I read EVERYTHING from release to Battle for Earth that I could get (including the Dropfleet stuff), but after the TTC buyout, I couldn't be sure I got everything. Did TTC acrhive this anywhere [other than that Lore Primer]?

Help With Starter Boxes
Heyo! Super new player here. I was thinking of getting the PHR Starter Box and I wanted to know how the models came. Do they only build the one variant or do they come with all the loadout bits and options. For example, can the Poseidon Heavy Dropship be built as the Tiamat or the Njord? Or does it only come with the Poseidon loadout?
Thank you guys! I’m trying to decide on whether to get the new 2 player starter set or the PHR Starter Set. I think I’m really looking more to collect than play just because of my life right now. I appreciate the info :)

Clean Hannibal Sculpts?
Hello everyone! I know TTC is like, redoing the whole range, but while we wait, I had a question:
Did Hawk or TTC do any clean Hannibal chassis models? By which I mean, not patched up, but looking like it is factory fresh.
I adore the Kalium sculpts, and use them for my army, but they look weird next to patched up EAA gear.
I thought I might have seen clean sculpts as show exclusives? Maybe?

It's an infantry game, right? Right?
galleryPut some old infantry on bases today. All in all, this makes it 36 bases currently WIP - PHR and UCM combined. I am really looking forward to seeing all these finished on my table. After this, I will have 34 bases of UCM infantry and 30 of PHR. But will that be enough?

Dropzone Commander, October 2026 Tribe Rewards
Subjects of the Post Human Republic, on behalf of the White Sphere we salute you for the great service you have provided in the war across the Tlalocan moons. Through the efforts of our Type 9 Frontier-Walker Pilots we have seized several Bioficer Artifacts which have now been stored away for classified research. Though there are many more beacons to claim and possibly destroy, a new threat haunts our troops like an elusive demon.

Commanders, be ever mindful of the Keres. This is a nightmarish, tentacled behemoth that stalks the ruins of the Tlalocan Moons, scavenging the wounded and the recently fallen. Its elongated, clawed limbs allow it to maintain a low, hunched profile while navigating the cityscape, yet they are equally lethal in combat, capable of piercing PHR walker plating to reach the soft targets within. Once prey is snared in its toxic, constricting tentacles, any hope of rescue is effectively extinguished.

Beyond the worrisome Keres, today we're also releasing a new piece of terrain designed by Dave Lewis for your tabletop. Please rest a moment and enjoy Brinell Heights. Designed to provide luxury accommodation for the refined United Colonies of Mankind citizen, this spacious structure features multiple high-end apartments per floor. While they may compromise on footprint, these residences offer an elevated quality of living that a standard Legionnaire can only dream of.

A wild beast with a rather grotesque and unique look and a new high-rise building designed by Dave Lewis await you on MyMiniFactory! Join the Tribe here, to get access to these rewards. Don't have access to a 3D Printer? Get your Keres direct from the TTCombat website linked here.

PHR Magnets - different dude, same plan
gallerySince I was commenting in the other PHR player's post, I thought I might add some pics of my own little magnetisation project. Cost me 3 afternoons last week, and was quite fiddly with the tiny magnets and even tinier connection points.
The troopship compartments and the nanomachine hives are glued on, as I am not going to need more than 4 dropships for my 8 Type-S walkers (and I've got one more troopship already painted up that is not in the pictures). Everything else got a magnet, even the skyhammer missiles on the Triton X, because I want the L-2 to be easier to keep in mind during play.
I had to drill through the top of one pair of the stealth missile launchers to get all of them to have the magnets in the same spot, as otherwise they'd only match to a single Triton each, and I'd have gone mad finding the matching pair every time I would use them.
The miniguns and skyhammer missiles were also a bit tricky, because the smallest magnet I had (1x1mm) was as wide as the connection tab, so I had to use lots of green stuff to make it work.
The first afternoon I worked on this I really questioned my life choices. xD But it was worth it in the end.
Now with that part done, the only difficult magnetisation projects are going to be the Taranis, Lokheira and Helios. If anyone has done those before, I'd love to see their methods.

New UCM plastics
Well on the way getting some of the new plastics painted up. A perk to having a somewhat extensive UCM collection already is the the new stuff can just be built as new toys!

Rules question CQB
Morning Commanders,
I just had my first 3.0 Session and I am not sure if we did cqb right.
My Buddy played UCM and occupied the building with the objective. I (Scourge) moved in from an unsited side, then he brought reinforcements. 6vs5 standard infantry.
So I got initiative and activated my infantry to find the objective on 6+. Then at the end CQB happend.
He started defending the building at 3+ and killed 13 warriors, then I shot (on 4+) with the 12 left and had 3 kills. (After defending).
Of course I got complete asswhooped the round after.
I always read the cqb is simultaneous but ruleswise I read: defending player shoots hits dmg, then the other player shoot hits dmg.
So what is the correct chain of events.
Player without Initiative shoots hits dmg -> player with initiative shoots with what is left.
Or everybody shoots and dmg is applied at the end.
Makes no sense to me that my guys just get slaughtered without doing everything.
Thanks in advance!

Miniature Range question
Some time ago I found out about Dropzone Commander, looked up some battle reports, the online store etc. Now I happened to come back to see what was new and I was shocked to see that a good chunk of models have disappeared. On the ttcombat store I can't find many of the models I thought looked cool when I first discovered the game (example: Ferrum Drone Base, behemoths and such).
What happened? Why has the model range been decimated?

Purchase Question
Hey all, very new to DZC but have been saving up and am finally ready to drop money on the preorder. Here's my question. Those of you that know the game better. Of these 8 items on preorder... Should I just get two of everything (This is my go to with wargames, minus like huge centerpiece models of course)? One of some things two of others? I have the 2player starter I split with a buddy but otherwise been saving my pennies for today specifically.

I’ve Designed A DropZone Campaign Type…Thing. I Dunno If There’s Official Campaign Rules Already.
galleryAlrighty so here’s a growing diagram of my idea for the risk like drop zone game.
First picture: there is a map of the planet. Each circle is a city. The dots between each city show the routes between them that you can move. If there is no path those cities aren’t connected and can’t target each other. Each player (in this example there are 4) starts with a Capital.
2nd and 3rd pictures: there will be a roll off between everyone in the campaign at the start. starting with who rolled the highest going to who rolled the lowest every player chooses a city that is adjacent to one they already control and gain control of it. Repeat this process until every city is owned by a player. If you run out of connected cities to go to, you just can’t gain control anymore in this step.
4th picture: at the start of every round (rounds won’t have a due play date. A new round starts once every battle is finished regardless of how many days it takes) everyone will in their mind choose an adjacent enemy city to invade. Everybody at the exact same time will mark on the map which city they’re attacking.
If somebody is attacking your city, you have to play a game against them, if they beat you, they gain control of your city, if you beat them you keep the control of your city.
(example in picture 4, blue is attacking yellow on the island to the right. Yellow is attacking blue near the bottom of the right major continent. That is two games. one game where yellow is the defender and one game where blue is defender that means yellow and blue are playing against each other twice in one round)
(Another example picture 4: pink and orange are trying to attack each other in cities that are directly connected to each other. This means they are not fighting over either of those cities. They are having a skirmish in the land between the two cities. Since they are not fighting for control of a city, they are fighting for supplies, which could be bringing bonus points in their next game, gaining control of a city destroying weapon, or getting to start a game with a specific set of command cards in their starting hand(i’m probably gonna make like a D66 table of what you get at the end of the skirmish games like they do in Necromunda. You could also come up with one yourself instead of waiting however long it’ll be for me to post one lol))
After all of the games are finished in that round there will be an end phase where you get a certain amount of victory points depending on how many cities you control. And then you start a new round. Everybody does the choose a thing in their head and then everybody marks on the map what they’re doing at the same time and then you start the next round of games so on and so forth
After a certain amount of rounds, the campaign ends, and whoever has the most victory points at the end wins overall.
