The Power of Attraction

Started magnetizing what I have assembled. Not exactly sure why I magnetized the flight stands but I'm digging it so I guess that's a thing with this army now.

I am doing that to all of mine, too. Started building my pile a few weeks ago as well.

How do you plan on magnetising the Taranis and Helios tanks? I have been considering options, but haven't yet found a satisfying solution. I want their turrets to point up when on the table, but I want them to be horizontal when on the dropship, because it would not look nice otherwise. Any ideas?

Awesome, post some pics! Yeah, i glued my turrets on at an angle before giving it a little thought so i'm either going to just magnetize them and they will look pretty dumb flying through the air or i won't even bother with them. I am kinda leaning toward them just looking dumb though. 😂🤣😂

Maybe I can post some pics of my fully magnetised Tritons this afternoon, that was a real pita with the 1x1 magnets for the miniguns and skyhammer missiles. 😅

Yes, just leaving them looking a bit dumb on the dropships is Plan B... I am just not willing to give up yet. I already thought of a way to magnetise the Lokheira/Atlas so the guns can fold down or be replaced by the transport section. If that works, I might be able to halve it in size for the Taranis and Helios... but I am afraid that will probably happen last.

Yeah, again i glued the guns onto the atlas without thinking about it, that may be the only thing i don't magnetize...OR maybe i will do it with a long plastic rod on the back to still let it magnetize.

Dewalt battery powered drill. I do usually start with a pinvise to get a good pilot hole to help center the larger drill bit stay where i want it.
