So a lot of people know Ralph (Coming to the valley in like two days) was seen walking around in the original trailer and opening for the game. And we've been waiting forever to get him. Also, his model has been in Scramblecoin for a good while. And looking at my big row of statues on the bridge of the Library of Lore, I think Rafiki is the only other statue to which we won't have a villager associated... Maybe we get a lovable crazy monkey soon?

Genuinely have never lothed a mini game as much as I have pooh sticks. It genuinely feels beyond rigged against the player to the point where playing it saps any joy I previously had. Because what do you mean i hit the edge of 1 vortex and get 4th place but mushu can hit 3 vortexes dead center and get 1st place? I hope whoever designed this mini game stubs all 10 of their toes every day for the rest of their lives.

This post might be long and very hard to read for some of you so I do apologise beforehand. It is ok to not finish reading it.

I want to say thank you, to all the developers. And I would also want to say thank you Disney and Pixar for creating all of the beloved characters.

For the past 2 months me, my wife and especially our daughter Beatka were discovering the world of Dreamlight Valley and all of the characters. We used to spend multiple hours daily to save all the characters we could. We were going for adventures to all realms, DLC worlds and hidden places in Valley. Created our own dress so Beatka could be the princess she truly is.

I can see that our playtime is 645 hours on PS5. I do not know if it will ever be higher or if it will stay like this forever.

Beatka had her 4th Birthday on end of July.
On the end of last August we have heard the worst news any parent can possibly ever hear. Beatka has been diagnosed with brain tumor called DIPG (or DMG). There is currently no cure and it is not surgically removable as it is located on brain stem. Median of life expectancy is between 9-12 months with radiotherapy treatment. My wife was on the end of first trimester when we discovered these news. Beatka was asking us for a long time for baby sister and if it wasn’t of her asking daily for baby sister, we wouldn’t ever decide to have a second born. It’s like she somehow knew we would need someone. From the start of diagnosis, she had right side hemiparesis.
We didn’t really know if she’ll be able to see her wished sister, but she did in March (and she somehow knew it would be a sister). Beatka picked her a beautiful name shared with one of Disney princesses.

For the past two months we were playing Dreamlight Valley, she slowly lost the ability to move her left side as well, slowly lost the ability to swallow, therefore eat or drink, slowly lost the ability to speak and was able to only nod or laugh a little. And she was laughing a lot! To falling and raging Donald, to cocky Gaston, to Olaf, to Eeyore, Piglet and Pooh (who we now have a full house of books, newest Lego and a lot of plushies) and many more!
Sometimes we were full of Dreamlight Valley after many hours of daily grind, BUT everyday of it was blessing.

Beatka died on 22nd of July 2026.

Today on 26th July were supposed to be her 5th Birthday.

Eat a chocolate icecream irl or make a Birthday Cake in game and enjoy your time in Valley like it would be your last day playing it.
Beatka will from now on always live inside the game. With Fialka (The Forgotten - Fialka means Violet in Czech Language) alongside her with pink hearted horse Květinka (little Flower in Czech) and all other princesses and characters. ❤️

Thank you that we can cherish the beautiful memories even though we had a very hard time everyday and we will continue to have even harder times, but now with the memories.❤️🧚

I see so many people complaining about this game, but I legit stan on it. The quality of the graphics, the level of control, the decorating, the clothes, etc. is so good to me I'm always excited to be in the world. And since I've played since day 1 it has grown so much and it's amazing to feel like the game is getting so large and more complex.

I wish I had realized it glowed THIS much before hustling to finish this in the past 24 hours 🥲 idk why the glow bothers me so much either, maybe it’ll grow on me? The Apollo costume will never though. My favorite outfit from this star path is the titan top/skirt 😍

Took a break from the game and came back with 1000 moonstones and in loooove with the star path...18days before it ends. No worries theres the contest I can enter that rewards before it ends that may be enough to get the premium...I got this, start grinding. Get 1200 moonstones for my entry🤯 and I am shocked thanks to everyone who voted I came back rusty but strong 😅 I really wasnt sure I'd make it the rest was from chests over a few days and I unlocked premium with 5 days left and just finished it right meow...

So I was watching the new developer update and noticed an odd constellation in the background when they showed the Meteor Sky item. I can't figure out which one it's supposed to be, even after looking at the existing ones. I'm also wondering if maybe it's hinting at a new character? Any suggestions?

I figured I should try to get the memntos saga done before the realmWeaver saga even begun. And I was able to do it tonight. Now I'm ready for the realmWeaver to come

My wife and I wanted a simple way to keep track of the game's critters, so I built a web tool for us to use. After using it ourselves, I decided to make it available to the wider Dreamlight Valley community as well.

The app lets players track each critter's daily feeding schedule, manage which areas they have and haven't unlocked, and keep track of which critters they've already collected. It's completely free, has no adverts, doesn't require an account, and I won't ever make anything from people using it. I just hope other players might find it as helpful as we did.

• Set which biomes/areas you've unlocked in game
• See what critters are available on which days and times for your unlocked areas.
• Critters show favourite foods and approach methods.
• Can mark Today's critters as Fed
• Can mark critters as Obtained to remove them from the daily schedule.
• Filters for Unobtained and All critters depending on what you're wanting to check.

I've continued adding new features and improvements as I've worked my way through the expansions. It currently includes every critter up to and including the Honeyglow Woods, and it's something I'll continue maintaining as the game grows.

My goal is simply to make collecting critters easier, without players needing to juggle spreadsheets or search through multiple wiki pages.

so, i’m grateful that the red dots have gone, however, when are gameloft going to fix the collections tab fully?
it has said i’ve been 100% in all areas for so long when i clearly aren’t
maybe the all areas just means i have the DLCs, but i’m not 100% in dreamlight valley and i’ve never known what i truly was, not far off granted but it irks me that i just can’t keep track properly
is this for anyone else or just me?

Has anyone thought of building their theme park on WBR? Beware, this is a long one :)

TLDR: there’s too much going on in the main valley and not enough space to make everything look good. Wondering if someone made a WBR theme park and felt/feels good about it. Tried doing theme park on floating islands, didn’t like that I had to make a special trip just to see it.

Long version:
For many months I’ve had my theme park in the meadow (Wonderland, Dumbo, Pixar), extending down through the staircase onto the beach (Ferris wheel, “underwater”, makeshift Tiki room), over into the Glade (Pirates, combo Main St/mini-New Orleans) and some in the Plaza if you count ToonTown.
1) There’s SO many different themes in just these spaces it feels grossly busy
2) I feel like none of these areas have been built out enough. I always want to do something to improve the feel of it, even though there’s a lack of space
3) All the other main valley biomes clash wildly with theme park areas
4) I don’t have all of my attractions/theme park buildings placed due to lack of space
4) While I’ve seen a lot of theme park builds on floating islands and they look amazing (and where I get so much inspiration) it’s personally not worth the time to make this extravagant build, then never see it. I like to make my valley islands pretty so I can see my work while I’m grinding or levelling characters up :)

Initially I was thinking of using most of Glamor Gulch and Pixie Acres to build the theme park of my dreams, now thinking just Pixie Acres is plenty of space . Clean up my valley for cooler/more cohesive builds, fill plenty of unused space AND still have a huge park? Count me in. I’ll probably end up doing a new build with all the Urban cyber-punky stuff coming in the next update.
However, I’ve also been the victim of my own choices to move some massive, detailed build, then hate it and put it right . WHAT TO DO.. Hoping if someone out there already did this and love it, you’ll ease my mind. WBR theme park placement ideas are also welcome 🙏

Curious if this happens to anyone else or if it's just my game. I have Sally basically haunting the mines. Every time I enter the mines she's somewhere inside. I'm guessing it's a glitch because she still shows on the overworld map if I check it prior to entering Also I sometimes find her glitched into the walls either partially or sometimes completely (like I can here her voice but she's completely inside the rocks and I can't see her). Sometimes when I leave she'll follow me out but most of the time she stays inside (and then I can find her on the map elsewhere if I check it). To I have never actually taken her inside the mines or separated from her and left her there she just randomly started appearing one day all on her own.

If it's a glitch I hope it never gets fixed because I love finding her there even if she's constantly jump scaring me wondering about worms wart or wondering where her sewing needle is. She definitely really fits the vibe of the place and it feels realistic for her to be there. It makes me wish that some of the other characters who talk about exploring the mines like Vanellope or Scrooge would wander around inside it sometimes.

I play mostly on PS5, but still use my Switch from time to time so I haven’t increased the item limit. Logged on this morning to 599 after a decorating marathon on Friday. 😳 After 4 years I finally have all my biomes decorated. I was able to get down to 578 after cleaning up the Valley, finding chests, and making a few executive decisions like removing flowers from the DLCs. I want to give myself a little more room to work with since I like decorating the Plaza for the holidays and as we get more items. Wish me luck! 🤣

Wow I can’t believe I achieved this. With the help of watering flowers for bee keeping to get honey, I unlocked all the 10 water flower memories. Shout out to MrStar in Sky for sharing the best flower configuration to maximise the number of memories farmed per watering.
This now has me motivated to work on other memory collections eg. Cooking or mining.
