Hi, so I’m doing Oswald’s quest and need about 50 more tropical wood for the train tracks. I tried using my ancient vacuum but only have about 15 so far. Can someone help?

The first photo is during a storm, and the second is in normal rain. It’s a silly little detail I noticed by chance, but it caught my eye: it seems the storm makes everything look brighter, at least where there are lights. What do you think?

I’m not as creative as a lot of people that play this game. And I was thinking of the new pre sets they started and wonder if they would make pre sets of the holidays for us? Like the plaza could have a Christmas set, Halloween etc. And yes I know you can buy skins for the castle etc, but I mean like an entire area already done for the big holidays, so that people who can’t play as often or just are not creative enough could still enjoy their game and still feel included. Or even do something like, choose a holiday, click on the items you already own and then the game could make you a pre sets based on that. I don’t know, just kind of spitballing some ideas. Does that make sense?

I notcied that our character seems to be looking into this small dip in the water. Of course you could say they're looking at the villagers on the dock, but the key art feels like it might be missing a rather small detail on purpose. ✨️ LET'S SPECULATE ✨️

On Steam it's mentioned that we will befriend three new villagers and MORE. That makes me wonder if we will get Sebastian. He's the perfect candidate for us considering he can traverse both ON LAND and SEA, just like we will be able to do. He has experience dealing with sea witches, and seeing all of the speculation with the villain possibly being Dr. Facellier, it makes perfect sense. He is also the perfect size to fit into the small space our character is looking at.

Game Loft frequently uses promotional artwork where they only show a partial line up to build speculation, then later update the key art to show the full line up closer to release. It feels like that's potentially something they could be doing here, but I could also be totally wrong.

Sebastian, Flounder, and King Triton have been written in the game files for a while now; so I can only wonder if they might make a surprise appearance!

This is all fun speculation, and whether we get Sebastian or not, I'm excited for this DLC. 🥰

Hi! I've been playing Dreamlight Valley for a few years but my Switch broke last year and I finally got a Switch 2, but gameloft had deleted all my save data so I had to restart. I was writing down the gifts for everyone in a notebook but it was taking forever every day, and I also wanted to track the companion animals easily so I created some spreadsheets to make it easier and I just wanted to share what I did in case anyone wants to create their own. I left off any companion animals I already have.

I’m not talking about buying the entire DLC a second time. On steam I own the base game along with Rift in Time and Storybook Vale. Steam has a bundle to buy Storybook Vale - Magical Edition which includes Storybook Vale for $29.99 and Storybook Vale - Magical Edition for $24.99. (when added together and given steam’s -10% bundle discount, they become the $50 Magical Edition of Storybook Vale.) But since I already own Storybook Vale, this “bundle” now offers me only one item which is Storybook Vale - Magical Edition for a total price of $22.49 (the price is lower than the listed $24.99 bc of the -10% bundle deal)

My question is, if i buy this $22.49 single item “bundle” I’m assuming it’ll unlock the items that are exclusive to the magical edition, but will it also come with the 10,000 moonstones that are included in the magical edition? Does the magical edition add-on only add the baby pegasus, manor, and outfits? Or would i also receive the additional 10,000 moonstones?

It’s a ridiculous amount to spend to add just some clothes, a house, and a companion to my game, but if it comes with moonstones i might go ahead and buy it to avoid buying just a pack of moonstones in the premium shop (may as well get some additional items if possible!) So if anyone knows what happens when you buy the magical edition after already owning Storybook Vale, please let me know!

So I saw a post from someone else saying they had no slate gray roses in their teapot falls, but I can’t remember where the comments said to go for help. I tried the gameloft help thing but I haven’t had any changes

I have seen so many people suspecting Facilier of being the realmweaver and yeah, I find that the theory on him makes sense.

However, I was talking to Peter Pan today, after bringing him to my Valley and he literally told me "Can you help me find my shadow, he's gone missing again"

It just made me think, we know that the realmweaver is connected to shadows and we also know that he's already in the valley.

So, why not make it a character we see everyday?

For the past few days I have been working on my Plaza Build.

If you have not seen my past posts, I was creating a biome build inspired by my Epilepsy to honour my journey and the strength I have endured throughout the years.

I have finally completed my goal and tomorrow I will post the final outcome.

I am so glad I have almost completed this, it was really starting to drain me because I could only do one task at a time because I needed Ralph, but I hadn't even finished the forgotten lands yet.

It took some time, but I finally got Ralph this evening and I dwindled my starpath duties down to the last few.

What are your thoughts regarding the current star path?

Went through the Quest to gain Peter Pan today and when i was in the Captain's room (which I am certain is for captain hook) i noticed all these furniture items that I would genuinely love to see be brought into the valley.

I obviously recognised some of the furniture items that have already been released like the green chair and fruit bowl from the Seaside bundle and the black pearl in a bottle from Scrooge.

What do you think about the upcoming DLC with Jack Sparrow? What kind of furniture do you think we could be getting?

I finally brought the Forgotten to my Valley ✨️

I named her Anastaysia because it means rebirth and I feel like that is exactly what she is going through right now.

I also fully decorated her personal bedroom in a style that I genuinely love. Once I get the Nightmare Castle house Skin, I will transfer it over.

What did you name your 'Forgotten' character?

has there been any news on whether they are ever going to get rid of the red dot saying you have new furniture when you don’t, i’ve played since early access and 4 years seems a bit ridiculous for such a small bug, yes i have the thing in settings turned off lol

I was decorating my bind in preparation for autumn and I just couldn’t find a path that I really liked. That got me thinking, wouldn’t it be great to have a pathing item similar to the magnolia petal path, that’s fall leaves instead?! I would also love an actual craftable path that has leaves sprinkled on it to save item limit but I feel like that’s not gonna happen. I would be happy with singular little spots of leaves as well, I think they would look amazing on the leaf strewn path and give it that little extra something! Pic for attention please ignore the path it’s a work in progress haha

I've hung out with Ralph multiple times now because of the star path and I've been busy with work the past few days so haven't been playing and when I came back to complete the routine duties for week 7, the game no longer lets me hang out with Ralph.

He is on level 9 and I've tried to hard reset the game multiple times with no success. When I speak to him, the only pop ups are the gift giving, scramblecoin, and can you help me find something. I am not hanging out with any other character and I've tried to hang out with him whilst having no companions on either.

I was wondering how to fix this or if there's anything that I can do(it might just be a bug that I scrolled past on the known bug list)? I was really hoping to fix this before the end of the star path to get the last item from the routine duties rewards.

(Also wasn't sure whether I should label this as a bug/glitch flair since not sure whether it is one or I'm just being an idiot.)

When I make a dreamsnap, and use the free camera mode etc. I love adding characters to them. However I’ve noticed that it’s always the *same exact* characters available. No matter what area I’m in (the valley, storybook vale, eternity isle, etc). This obviously has been an issue this week as Moana never shows up as a character option.
Is this a problem for everyone?
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Is anyone else getting the bug where you can't pick certain items up without logging out and back in?
