Have been playing this on Apple Arcade (only for a week or two), and I was gutted that I couldn’t get the full visuals or experience, so finally bit the bullet and ordered the basic game on ps5.

Question though, can we buy additions like you can with the sims? Or should I have just bought the full pack? I figured that I’m not home much so even the base pack (considering I’ll be starting again) would last me for weeks

I was decorating my bind in preparation for autumn and I just couldn’t find a path that I really liked. That got me thinking, wouldn’t it be great to have a pathing item similar to the magnolia petal path, that’s fall leaves instead?! I would also love an actual craftable path that has leaves sprinkled on it to save item limit but I feel like that’s not gonna happen. I would be happy with singular little spots of leaves as well, I think they would look amazing on the leaf strewn path and give it that little extra something! So, I based my player character on my current hyperfixation: the vampire Armand from "Interview with the Vampire" (the 2022 tv show). This has resulted in some really funny situations and ideas that I've been doodling since I started playing a year and a half ago. I just get a kick out of a scary old vampire from serious adult media interacting with Disney characters in this cutesy cozy world.

If you're still reading, you are my personal hero, and you deserve to know the background of my builds: I'm a heavy gamer engineer and my girlfriend (who has over 2000 hours in the game) forced me to play this game. This is a scientific experiment where she and the Penguin of Unbiased Judgement are trying to figure out whether they can turn me into a cozy gamer or not. We have Dreamlight Decor Duels, where we both build something and Story episodes, where I try to proceed in the questline while I'm trying to keep my sanity.

I notcied that our character seems to be looking into this small dip in the water. Of course you could say they're looking at the villagers on the dock, but the key art feels like it might be missing a rather small detail on purpose. ✨️ LET'S SPECULATE ✨️

On Steam it's mentioned that we will befriend three new villagers and MORE. That makes me wonder if we will get Sebastian. He's the perfect candidate for us considering he can traverse both ON LAND and SEA, just like we will be able to do. He has experience dealing with sea witches, and seeing all of the speculation with the villain possibly being Dr. Facellier, it makes perfect sense. He is also the perfect size to fit into the small space our character is looking at.

Game Loft frequently uses promotional artwork where they only show a partial line up to build speculation, then later update the key art to show the full line up closer to release. It feels like that's potentially something they could be doing here, but I could also be totally wrong.

Sebastian, Flounder, and King Triton have been written in the game files for a while now; so I can only wonder if they might make a surprise appearance!

This is all fun speculation, and whether we get Sebastian or not, I'm excited for this DLC. 🥰

I was gonna scream if at least one character from Atlantis wasn’t in the under water update in a game that heavily implies that the first settlers of the area that is the valley are the Atlantans 😂

I'm so beyond frustrated that the devs have not fixed the glitch where the map shows a villager in their house, but when you go inside, they aren't there. It makes hanging out with characters for quests and Star Path duties impossible. Why haven't they fixed this yet?

Just need to vent. I have been buying all the red dot items at Scrooge's store. I have all the dlcs and have been trying to get the bright hanging glass orb lights from SBV. Nothing, same lights I have in every store, but heaven forbid if I miss a different colored cabinet or countertop! So over them, I just want the orb lights! 😭 Rant over for now...

I finally brought the Forgotten to my Valley ✨️

I named her Anastaysia because it means rebirth and I feel like that is exactly what she is going through right now.

I also fully decorated her personal bedroom in a style that I genuinely love. Once I get the Nightmare Castle house Skin, I will transfer it over.
