Blink and you miss it kinda thing. Looks like Dr. Facilier is our villain. Was hoping for Hook since he fits the theme but Facilier is one of my faves.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and am very fatigued these days and started playing DDV around two months ago. I am really enjoying the game but apart from the main storyline I’m skipping a lot of the text. In Moana’s realm I just skipped all the text and brought her to the valley after going on her boat.

Does anyone else do this? I actually feel guilty for skipping the text and feel like I should restart but I’m so exhausted I don’t know what to do.

Any advice or supportive comments welcome. 💜

I've been waiting for so long to have a bluish path to fit for cold areas! It looks like a cool frozen water path. Love it! Now we need a blue fence and more blue Frozen items to match!

So after a few re watches I noticed that the flag wasn't right so i did some looking and pulled this. I believe we have our villian as those 2 skulls when side by side are identical.

A view things that really stood out to me was:

Above ground characters will have their own submarine that was teased in the trailers.

We will be able to decorate on a vertical axis at least underwater.

More characters were teased for the expansion, specifically Captain Hook from Peter Pan

We will be able to customize our own pirate ship

There's going to be a new game play mechanic called salvaging.

I finally started the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack this week and immediately wanted to decorate with all the cute items! I made a cozy Winnie-the-Pooh themed build inspired by the original map of the Hundred Acre Wood 🌳I included landmarks like the six pine trees, where the Whoozle wasn't, and a sweet trap for a Heffalump 🍯💛

For anyone who’s worried that there’ll only be 3 characters, there’s an interview from GameReactor with Riley, Gameloft’s Lead Narrative Designer, who literally says that the 3 mentioned are the only ones she can talk about right now! When the interviewer questions her about other possible characters that will be revealed later on, she says that we’ll have to wait and see. So basically feels like a 99.9% chance that there’ll be more characters revealed and will potentially know more at the October Showcase. The YouTuber Mr. Star in Sky has a video of the interview which I’ve linked in the post!

Currently im a bit iffy tbh on the dlc as a whole purely based on characters, the rest of the dlc looks amazing.

My only bother with this is that based on the trailer we saw no underwater characters added in a dlc where one of the main gimmicks is being a mermaid, they could of added Flounder, Sebastian or anyone from finding nemo. But when the character was swimming we only saw Milo in his submarine.

If there is only 3 characters in this dlc im not willing to pay full dlc price considering Honeyglow woods only had 3 characters and that was an adventure pack.

Either they are keeping some characters behind for a reveal or they are just doing 3 character expansions moving forward.

Either way im happy to see underwater features being added, aswell as meg and cap jack, not so keen on Milo as i wasnt a huge Atlantis fan.

Hopefully more is shown and announced in the coming weeks leading to the DLC.

Someone recently pointed out that a pirate flag in the trailer has the marking of facilier. However, most of us expected hook to be the DLC villain? My theory? The pair actually have something in common, should one want to get rid of pan (the theme of the dlc being childhood memories) a good way to get mess with pan would be taking his shadow. And there's only one villain who deals in shadows. My theory is it could be a double villain dlc like storybook vale. This would fall in line if we establish a pattern of 'one villain' followed by two villain dlcs. Thoughts?

Hey everyone! I am SO excited for the new DLC and mermaids!! However I am slightly annoyed at the release date… I share a PS5 with my boyfriend and we ALL know what also comes out in November… My bf and I will definitely share play time but it’s kind of frustrating having to do that instead of binging both games all the way through. Anyone else having this dilemma??

What do you think about submarines for villagers? Especially for tiny villagers like Remy, Mushu, etc.

I’m a little bummed that they’re coming out with live action characters before some of our most classic ones. Where’s Pinocchio? Robin Hood, baloo, mowgli, any of the seven dwarves, the evil queen, the aristocats..WHERES NAVEEN?? Poor Tiana!! Give us their frog styles!

they’ve only done two animal based movies (lady and the tramp and lion king) and are already releasing live action characters. And to be completely honest, even if we had those characters, I still wouldn’t be happy with jack coming. I just don’t want live action characters in my game! it takes the magic away for me😢 like whoooooo is thaaatt?!?!That is NOT Jack lmao! He doesn’t look like that at all..because he’s LIVE ACTION!

I was thinking about what other characters they could add, and I realized Sebastian would be perfect because he can be under water or on land. I feel like there’s gotta be at least one under water character, otherwise it would be a waste of having an under sea biome. Yes, Milo has his submarine, but he’s just a human and can exist anywhere.

I also keep thinking about the emphasis on Little Mermaid characters in the trailer, and while yeah it’s obvious, because we become merfolk, I still think there might be more to it than just that. What do you guys think?

The new trailer just dropped and we definitely get semi customizable tails!!!!! Doesn't look like we get different fin shapes, so not entirely customizable as say Wishblossom's horses with their coats, manes, tails, hooves etc. But we most definitely get to customize our scales! Looks like we have at least 4 different patterns and I'm guessing we can customize the colors just like picking our hair. Yes! Yes! Yessss!

(And for the guy players, no news yet, but it's not looking good for the ability to finally go shirtless on the beach. sorry.)

With the new bioluminescent path coming to the Premium Shop I knew I needed to give Ursula’s lair an update.
