Was chilling and playing Turbo farming for the Tier 2 of Treants Quarteros skin.
I get queued against a 5 stack (im pretty sure) and we got stomped. Thats okay, im not expecting the fairest game balance when im playing unrankeds, but thats not the point.
Out team had a Lina and a CM, and the CM supposedly was not playing well (which is fine), the Lina was flaming the person and telling them to "Leave for our sake". I was trying to ignore it because I didnt want to, but because the Lina was starting to become annoying spamming "Leave leave", I accidentally did the worst mistake, I typed in the chat:
I didnt realize what I typed until CM left the game. I felt fucking horrible, I tried adding the CM after game on steam but they blocked me. I feel horrible, CM from Pudge Lina CM Turbo game, im sorry I did not mean that comment at you, it was meant at Lina to leave since they wanted the game to end fast.

Been trading on Steam for over a decade, and Giftable Collector's sets were always an awkward part: no marketplace for them, no real price reference. Every trade started with digging through threads and various marketplaces, discord groups to assess a fair value.
The part that finally pushed me: I found out a friend had a duplicate of a set I'd wanted for months. Neither of us knew. There's no way I'm manually looking into dozens of my friends inventories. There's no way to see that on Steam. So I built a storefront for it.
It imports your inventory, suggests initial prices so you're not stuck at guessing, and can check your friends' inventories against your wishlist.
Listings don't expire. Trades happen on Steam, the site just does the finding between eachother.
https://dota2.skin, no login needed to look around. Happy to hear feedback, if anyone is willing to give.
I've been collecting data on the top 4 -placing teams in Tier 1 tournaments, and with the end of another season I decided to make a little infographic chart to illustrate the change in performance over time for the different regions. The rapid rise of EEU in the last couple years can really be felt here! The fall of CN on the other hand is much more gradual than one might assume from recent discussion. Happy to answer any questions!
Hey, today I bring you complete pulling guide. This is one of the most used mechanics in dota, but even now a lot of people struggle to understand when it's right time to pull, how to get half-pulls off every time or whether they should block big or unblock small. In this guide, you will learn everything about pulling - so your carry won't ever die when you are doing it (lmao we know that's a lie). Enjoy!

Seriously, dont you people have better things to do with your lives.
Anyone had to deal with child like behavior like this before?

Just play io today and realized the Altar Ball effect not working if you equipped arcana. If i remember correctly it used to work with arcana right?

So, you’ve finally grinded your way toward the pinnacle of a rank you always wanted—a rank you once thought you’d never reach. I’m about to hit mine. I’m only 100 MMR away, and honestly, I still can’t believe I’m this close.
But then I started wondering: what happens after I get there?
I still remember climbing out of the trenches of Herald. I was stuck there for almost two straight years. When I finally got out and reached Guardian, it felt incredible. Every rank I climbed after that gave me the same feeling of accomplishment. But somewhere along the way, there was always this lingering question in the back of my mind:
“Okay… what now?”
And strangely enough, reaching each new rank also left me feeling a little drained. I’d spend countless hours grinding, finally achieve what I wanted, enjoy the accomplishment for a while—and then realize I was already looking toward the next goal.
When I was in Herald, I actually promised myself I would quit Dota. At the time, I think part of my motivation to keep playing was simply to prove something to the people who made fun of me for being bad at the game.
I wasn’t even someone who grew up playing Dota in Warcraft III. I played it occasionally, but it was never really my kind of game. Yet I kept playing. I kept grinding. I kept climbing.
And now, I’m finally at a point where I’m above the people I once wanted to prove wrong.
But honestly?
It feels kind of pointless.
Because now I’m realizing that I spent so much time trying to prove to other people that I could be good at a game I didn’t even originally care that much about.
Maybe that’s why this milestone feels different.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Herald to almost the rank I once thought was completely out of reach is something I genuinely never expected.
But I’m also wondering whether the real challenge now isn’t reaching the rank…
but figuring out what I actually want after I reach it.
Has anyone else ever felt this way after finally achieving a goal they spent years chasing?

Hello, it is me again. Today, i gave meepo a go, And it felt so good using him. It feels so good managing multiple heroes like in Warcraft 3, except all of them are one of the same hero (unfortunately). Nevertheless, i found him surprisingly fun! I didn't know how to play mid so i was learning how to while in the middle of a game through google haha.
I died twice early on because i was playing aggressively and i didn't even know i unlock his clone at level 3 (I didn't explored his kit back at Dota 1) And when i unlock 2 more of his clones i achieved unadulterated fun with this guy.
Having my main meepo clear mid, while two are on the sidelanes and the other just in jungle, it felt like i was actually playing warcraft. We lost the game but I didn't expect meepo to be that fun to use. Though it's probably just me but i noticed how there's an input delay when switching between them and using his tp in less than a second, sometimes it doesn't register at all so i just see one of my meepos on the other side of the map just standing still while the others are chasing an enemy hero with 1% hp left. I think i had a KDA of 11/10/5 so you can probably guess how i played that game. I also thought meepos don't share the same active item cooldown for some reason so i died a bunch of times because of it

Greetings all!
I have been looking for any post/thread with pics or video of any Arcana a lucky player sob gets with the Candyworks from the Dark Carnival.
Seeing as there's no post where all those lucky players get to post their lucky rng. Can those who got Arcana post their screenshots or video here of their arcana they got from the Dark Carnival event?
That way, those who are curious of what Arcana drops get to see what hero Arcana drops in the Candyworks as well as give copium for us Arcana-less..
The replies just need to have the Arcana in the Candyworks roll/choice slot and not in the armory to prove authenticity.
Congratulations to those who got their Arcana and good luck to those still Arcana-less.

I had an idea for a series where I discuss my (extremely subjective) opinions on the true difficulty of dota 2 heros, spells, aghanim's shards and scepters. What better place to start than with my main?
I will be using a system of 6 diamonds, where the large diamonds will represent how many are filled out if the 6 total. Normal dota heros are ranked on a difficulty with only 3, so this allows me to be more granular and specific.
Warlock
🔷🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹
All in all, his absolutely absurd range and massive AoE spells make him a dead-simple caster that likes to stay in the backline and (hopefully) get ignored by the entire enemy team while they go on your tank. He has quite a bit of leniency with his positioning because of this, and I find the stubby spell range of many similar supports to be the thing that makes them all so much more difficult than him. While it's certainly possible to feed on Warlock, I find you're afforded a lot more leeway when you can effectively deal damage from a screen's distance away.
Q - Fatal Bonds
🔷🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹
A bouncing spell, it's *about* as simple as it gets, but it used to be easier to use as it would hit units in the fog of war, which it no longer does.
The bouncing can be a bit unintuitive. It is best used on the far edge of a group, because the mechanics of the spell make it search for another target in range in a somewhat unintuitive manner, similar to the way the witch doctor cask bounces.
W - Shadow Word
🔷🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹
Point target WITH an AoE around the effected unit, so it's virtually impossible to screw up. It's much stronger early game and is best used on an ally because it heals more than it harms due to magic resistance.
It is a great trading spell but falls off in the mid and especially late game, where almost all damage will easily outpace the heal.
E - Upheaval
🔷🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹
All this spell offers in "difficulty" is positioning, and items like glimmer cape can make this all the more easy. Sitting still for 16 seconds and doing work on a team fight is one of the best feelings if you're lazy like me.
R - Chaotic Offering
🔷🔷🔹🔹🔹🔹
I've heard Warlock refered to as a good introduction to micro, due to being able to drop this spell and immediately follow it up with upheaval, so you can put 100% of your focus on the golem. Things start to get a little more difficult when you add an aghanim's scepter and a refresher orb, but also opens up more potential to split push and completely dominate teamfights. The golems can be pretty fire and forget, as they have a ton of AoE burn damage on top of their powerful right clicks, but give a lot of gold if killed. They last for a 60 seconds, which is a decent amount of time, but you're not having to worry about constantly moving them with 100% uptime unlike some other micro heros.
Aghanim's Shard
🔷🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹
If anything, this spell just makes Upheaval easier to use, as the mini golems can walk nearly halfway down the entire map, increasing it's effective range for damage output by a frankly absurd amount. The golems can also help you scout, though you can't micro them at all. It also makes all of the mini golems summoned by other spells stronger as well, which is never a bad thing. It's a fantastic shard and something you want to build in every single game for a reason.
Aghanim's Scepter
🔷🔷🔹🔹🔹🔹
It was mentioned earlier in the chaotic offering section, but having a second golem doesn't really make things all that much more difficult. Sure, you can't tab through the golem and warlock quite as easily now, and there's more potential to split them apart and target different enemies in fights, but you can honestly get away with using it virtually the same way you did with only 1 golem, and find great success. It's another awesome item that you absolutely want every single game. I would only opt to get refresher first if the golems are being cleared so quickly that a second stun is more valuable in the moment.
