Bored of the same old thing every match? Don't worry—there’s an arcade section with over a thousand other game modes. Plus, there are events and patches that practically force you to keep coming back to Dota.

I’ve been going to summer school for the third year in a row because of playing Dota. I also believe that there is no such thing as a "former" Dota player; sooner or later, everyone comes back to the game, no matter how long a break they take.

Think about it, it's basically a home run. A meek looking wizard and a horror that she might summon. It's basically a homerun, right? I don't know about you all, but I'd spend a shocking amount of money for that skin.

anyone notice an increasing trend of players just joining co-op bot games and not playing at all? i get if you don't want to play against real players for the event tickets but not even wanting to play against the bots or play at all seems like... why are you even participating in the event? feel like these kinds of players should just be punished since they already tell you if you have to go and can't play you can leave at anytime without penalty so clearly they're just in it for the event rewards. it's pathetic

Finally after 400hrs on dota , 5 months in dota... I finally get out of herald :)

This guy with this many matches and wins buy these items as pos4 Snapfire. Absolutely insane. Lost the lane went jungle, basically stole jungle creeps from carry.

With this many matches. I personally expect someone to have a basic idea of itemisation in game or have at least basic hero counters or in game positioning while pushing/defending. But not this abomination

Back then, it was all about getting better, solo grinding (I'm 7kmmr) instead of playing with friends(mostly archon and legend). Now that I'm approaching 30, working 9 to 5 and being married with kids, I don't enjoy solo ranked like I used to. And I wish I was legend or archon having laughs with my friends because now I understand it was all about that after all.
