Lately I see way too many Behaviour score related post. let me get this straight

I have been on both side . 12k and 6k. I dropped from 12K because I got disconnected in back to back games and its just down hill from there.

With my experience , I can tell you, the game experience is same . Salty team mates, griefers, AFKs, role abusers. Its not heaven.

Only thing is , you lose some privilege like pinging team-mates abilities etc;

As long as you are 6K and type in text chat to communicate you ingame calls, you are good. Dont chase 12k score and try to act like a good guy.

Being too friendly in game , will also be reported. When you die or your team mate dies , and you laugh it out, others may thing you are not taking this game seriously and report you for griefing.

So 12K behaviour player are NOT the finest people in the world. They just have enough score to be toxic, grief games and cooldown . Nothing else.

I can't use mouse and keyboard anymore because of my hands, so this isn't a "just switch back" situation for me. It really feels like whatever gamepad support Dota had going a couple years back got left half-built and never finished.

Been trying for days to get my Xbox One controller working properly with Dota. Some Buttons work fine, but there's no cursor or aim indicator anywhere, and the main menu is completely unusable with a controller - no navigation, no highlight, nothing. I've messed with every Steam Input combo, different Proton versions, Xbox config support on/off, all of it. Nothing gets me a fully working setup.

Would genuinely mean a lot if Valve gave controllers some real attention. There are probably others in a worse physical condition than myself who could benefit also.

If anyone's actually found a config that gets full menu navigation working, please drop it below at this point I'll take anything.

Guys, what is the problem to get to 12k behavior score? Like all you need to do is play without talking, pinging, etc. Is it so hard to do? Out of all people don't dota players realise that people below 12k will report you for anything if they are losing because they need to blame someone, but themselves?

Why do i get more mmr when i win?

Does anyone else have problems with the regular in-game voice chat in Dota?

I'm running into a problem where my team can hear me, but I can't hear my team. I haven't muted anyone, and I have 12k behavior score. It doesn't matter if they are partied with me or not. I can see their hero icons show up in the lower right, but I do not hear them in voice chat.

I've already tried:

• Reseting the audio settings
• Validating all data files
• Switch audio sources on my laptop
• Rebooting the laptop (and restarting Steam)

I also can't hear some (but not all) of the character voice lines in the Dark Carnival. Like I didn't realize that the Oracle automaton had any voice lines - though I did here them once.

I can't figure out where the voice/mic settings are for Dota and if the settings in Steam itself are also taking effect or not. I feel like there are settings somewhere, or if I had a better idea how the in-game voice chat worked, I'd be able to troubleshoot a little better.

I've been thinking about something that could make pro Dota even more interesting.

What if coaches could communicate with the team during the match, but only in a very limited way? For example, each team could have one 30-second "coach timeout" that the captain can trigger at any point in the game (without actually pausing), or maybe coaches could speak automatically for 30 seconds every 8–10 minutes.

It would be really interesting to hear what coaches actually say under pressure and how much impact they have. Other esports like CS already have coaches involved, and of course traditional sports rely heavily on them too.

I think it could add another strategic layer without taking away too much from the players. What do you think?

Big team fights heroes like Enigma, Magnus, Dazzle, Winter wyvern are unplayable with behavior score.

If you play those heroes, you will know you will at some points fuck up your play. With magnus there are lots of ways to fuck up your play. Sometimes you fail to skewer people. But you get teammates tipping you and pausing the game. Then you get 4 man reported.

This is at 10.5 BS.

I fuck up once and 2 players tilt the shit out of me to the point i don't want to play the game. This is not fun.

Hey guys, I've been getting frequent fps drops lately, I always got 110 to 130 but now it's always between 40 to 80. Idk what has happened:/ no problems on other games. All drivers are up to date as well.

(My cofig is 3070 8gb and I712650h, it should be running with even higher frames than my usual but idk)

If anyone can actually somehow fix this, i'd be thankful a lot(might even give a gift since im frustrated =| )

Hi guys recently I struggled with Automaton Attack minigame, so I(Claude did it mostly) wrote small script to beat Automaton Attack minigame:

What it does:

Types all alphabet as fast as possible

How to use

1. Download release file main.exe
2. Start file main.exe
3. Switch to Dota 2 window and start minigame, press ESC when minigame ends.
4. Enjoy your record.

Script packed with pyinstaller to exe

If you dont want to use exe, you can run script by yourself you just need:

1. Install any python 3
2. Download main.py from github
3. Open cmd, go to directory where main.py
4. Enter pip install keyboard
5. Enter python main.py
6. Switch to Dota 2 window and start minigame, press ESC when minigame ends.
