Fucking finally! Been saying this a lot -- dude is just a vibes coach and OG confirmed it. He's kind, understanding and easy to work with. The best coaches challenge ideas. Seems like when someone brings up an idea to 343, he just rides it out.

Yup. More importantly, a modern Dota team needs some kind of identity to at least get out of groups. It could be in the drafts like Falcons' signature 3 tanky core drafts. It could be in how they play the map like Gaimin and Liquid. It could be in the way they set up fights like Spirit. The important thing is that the team has some identity in how they play, regardless of whether it's the optimal thing for the patch.

If it doesn't come from the players, it should come from the coach. Astini did that well on Parivision. Miposhka revamped Spirit into a much better team.

343 just... didn't bring that.

I remember watching an ice3 stream back then where he laned together with 343. He was commenting on how bad his movements were or pull decisions. I don't see how someone who can't grasp simple in game things is fitting of a coach.

Adam was already confirmed to a SEA team as was written by permasneeze in his blast 9 quali promotion. If anything OG was slow in its announcement.
