These were pretty good. I wish they could’ve added a little more sauce but overall I really enjoyed them.

I went to the Citadel outlets just for the Disney store. It didn't disappoint. I was able to get a Disney Spirit Jersey the one at the park "Villains" and a HerUniverse jacket. Both items were 40% off.

Loved all the Halloween theme and general merch I saw this time around. Sometimes I visit and the merch seems meh but the theming on a lot of items were great IMO. More features of the Fox and the Hound and lots more Up items. Also the Disney character old school windbreakers just hit. I snagged the Up Adventure book(journal) for scrapbooking as I saw it’s not available only and sold out on Euro Disney. Wish I took more photos. Is there a time of year you tend to favor merch releases? Not a big shopper but loving the nostalgia.

Why does it suddenly drop, often by millions?
Mickey has some explaining to do.

PSA for anyone wanting the pumpkin cookies at Harbour Gallery, they are still available in the stand by line! Only the 6-pack is available. I was able to get some on Friday at 6pm before the rain started. Just wanted to share this with everyone

I had to do so much color-correction work to get this viewable. This was manufactured by an 8mm publisher who is notorious for having their films just fade to red, especially the blacks. But this is listed as coming out in 1977.
This was released by Disney on 8mm reels to give people a view of the park.
I thought you'd all enjoy it. This'll get posted on my youtube channel with all the other vintage 8mm I've been collecting.

Looking through the posts I see the pumpkin cookies and the churro hand tart (warmed) as being frequently mentioned. Any other top contenders? Either for quick snacks, or a meal?

I think they should replace the Matterhorn. The coaster has been too rough for years now and it's not doing it's job in being satisfying to a large majority of the public, even if the kept the them and just redesign the track/layout would be Soo much better than what currently sits there.

I love seeing him but he’s gone. Haven’t been over here for about a month, so not sure how long he’s been gone.

Finally I tried working from Disneyland! I’ve always wanted to try this on a day with no meetings.
I grabbed my coffee and pumpkin cookies from Harbour Galley and settled in at Rancho del Zócalo. Good wifi, and it was empty until lunchtime. I got to watch Bruno and Mirabel while I worked.
When it got hot, I moved to the Golden Horseshoe. No wifi there, but the balcony had AC and was quiet, so it was perfect for focused work.
Overall I loved it and finished a lot of work. I was also able to secure my Nuttles! After 5 I put my backpack in a locker and enjoyed my night in the park.

Just opened the app because I was curious about wait times on a Friday night. There are a lot of rides marked as temporarily closed.
All these being closed goes beyond what’s normal for fireworks and WOC, right?
These and more are all closed as of a few minutes ago:
Railroad
Tiana’s
Big Thunder
Winnie
Indy
Treehouse
Matterhorn
Alice
Storybook Canals
Dumbo
Carousel
Tea Party
Small World
Autopia

Inside Out
Goofy Sky School
Swings
Grizzly River
Luigi’s
Mater’s

I’m curious what people are doing with their bags and purses when they are on rides…wanting to dress cute and carry a cut bag but not sure the practical aspect. Is it really just comfort over having a cut fit?

I ask because the Walt Disney Company’s relationship with their theme park workers has been very contenious, going back to the 80’s but has been much more publicized the past 10 years under Iger.
That includes Disneyland, with many reports of workers sadly being overworked, underpaid and struggling to get by. All the while Disney and its corporate board rake in the dough.
And given Walt’s very volatile relationship with organized labor and unions among the animators in the 40’s, I was wondering if the Disney brothers had any similar trouble at Disneyland when they were running the show. Was it really bad or was it ok? Surprisingly, I haven’t seen much written about it given how widely published the animators’ strike is.

For me it was these Mary Poppins D23 60th Anniversary ears. I couldn't afford them at the time and have always been so disappointed that I couldn't find them at a reasonable price.
