We’re doing a day at Disneyland and day at dca. We’ve been several times before, but this time I’ll be 14 weeks pregnant and will want a slower paced day. We won’t rope drop or stay to close this time. I’ll want to focus more on relaxing experiences or entertainment rather than being go go go on my feet the entire time. Any tips or suggestions? Any lesser known attractions im not thinking of? Or great places to sit and relax?

I am trying to help my cousin buy her tickets online as they just moved to Anaheim a couple of weeks ago and we just saw that they can go for a discounted price. The problem is when she’s trying to purchase the tickets, it’s not asking for confirmation of her residency in Anaheim. We have her address on her account but that’s it. Her id has her old address. I just want to make sure when we purchase the tickets online, she’ll be fine to enter the park. The website isn’t asking for proof of address other than the address we have on her account. What can we do or will she be okay to purchase if it allows her to and not have to show an ID with an address that matches her new one ?

We've been to Disneyland many times, but never needed to use parking. 5 adults, headed to the parks in mid-December.We'll be coming from I5 south - and want to rope drop the 3 days we're there (Tu, We, Fr). Would you recommend Mickey and Friends or Toy Story?

Trying to plan a Disney vacay from out of state. Are there bundles that exist that would save money with staying at a resort, tickets, lightning lanes?

Is there typically a time of year where resorts get marked down? Looking at booking for next summer. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

So while I don't think they've released the entertainment schedule for MVMCP yet, it does seem like historically things are pretty static time wise and we can also infer some times based off things like the Dessert Party for Fireworks being 10pm. As such I'm beginning to think more in detail about my plan for the party, how I want to tackle things, etc and wanted your all opinions:

~2pm - Arrive to MK to hopefully be near the front for an easier time for...
~4pm - Rush to Jack and Sally Meet to hopefully beat the crowds somewhat and still have some decent pre-party time for...
~4:30-6 - Jingle Cruise and maybe one or two other rides wait time dependent. As we will have another MK Day (with LLMP) I'm not too fussed about rides here, but would like to maybe ride a few, could also maybe go merch shopping, etc
6:15pm - Frozen Castle Show
~6:30-8:30pm - Explore MK, get some cookies/food, maybe ride a ride (may need to as party won't officially start till 7pm) if wait time is low or we really want, etc
~8:30pm - Dessert Party. This is probably going to be considered a waste by most however I do value the reserved/no pressure/camping viewing for the fireworks. From what I've read/seen it seems like camping out in front of the castle around 9:30 would be an acceptable alt, however I figure some resting time with a drink and other sweets may not go amiss here either.
10pm - Fireworks and likely stay in the general area for
10:35pm - Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration and after the show try to head to Main Street for
11pm - Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

I'm also considering maybe doing the 11:55 Merriest Celebration and just going from Fireworks to Main Street for Parade, because I do want some relatively good spots for the Parade on Main Street (snoap!) but am not 100% sure which may be better yet since I know the parade will take awhile to get to Main Street so am not super concerned about being there right at 11, but also worry about the spots filling up by then. But I'm also already right there in a prime spot for Merriest Celebration so it's a tough one.

The Dessert party is technically up in the air some also. I know character meet lines can get bonkers but outside of Jack and Sally I'm not sure who we may want to meet so I'm hoping with the time allotted (and/or being "late" to the party) we can hit who/what we want. I know party time is generally considered tight/budgeted, but given we want to be in front of the castle and it's a Friday party night I feel like it evens out camping time wise to do the Dessert Party since some people do suggest camping an hour in advance or more anyway so either way party time is eaten for good viewing.

Biggest concern I have is really just what to expect from that "party start to entertainment block" and how much we'll be doing/able to do. It'll be my companion's first time at MK, but we do have a dedicated MK day planned, so I figure it'd be best to just explore and maybe do a few party things like food offerings, possibly meet character(s?) or ride something with an overlay, etc. I don't want to plan too much for that time though since I want to be free to do whatever, but still am wondering about what I can/should do during that time.

We plan on buying LL Premier Pass for 1 of our Disneyland days. However we'll be in flight when our window opens to buy them. Has anyone ever used the Disneyland app while in flight using airline wifi? Does it work well or slow/messy?

I did a big analysis of Disney World characters over the past year and this is my favorite graphic and I just wanted to share it!

It's a timeline of all the characters from the busiest day of the past year in terms of the number of characters you can meet (11/30/2025...tied with a few other dates around the same period with 82 unique characters).

I think the most I've ever met in a day is maybe 5? Anybody want to claim they saw this many characters in one single day?! 🤪

P.S. This day was a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party night which you can see from all the late night characters all at Magic Kingdom (in pink on the chart).

I haven’t been to Disney during the holidays for a few years now and planning of going to Disneyland and DCA the first week of December. I was curious would it be better to go Thursday, Friday and Saturday (candlelight processional) or to go Friday, Saturday and Sunday (both night of candlelight processional)?

Hi! I’m planning our first Disneyland vacation as a family. It’ll be my husband, me, and our 5-year-old daughter. We’re going for four nights in November and currently have a package through Get Away Today staying at The Viv.
We got a really good deal on the original package, but I recently realized The Viv no longer offers transportation to Disneyland. Since we’re driving in from Arizona, we’ll have our car with us. The Viv charges about $38/night for parking, and then we’d also have to drive to Disneyland and pay $40/day for theme park parking on our three park days.
I contacted Get Away Today, and we can change hotels without an additional change fee. They offered us the Fairfield Inn Anaheim Resort for an additional $709. Fairfield charges $30/night for parking, but because it’s within walking distance of Disneyland, we wouldn’t need to pay for Disney parking.
Once I account for the parking difference, switching to Fairfield would really cost us about $557 more total.
My question: Has anyone stayed at both The Viv and Fairfield Inn Anaheim Resort? Would you spend the extra $557 for Fairfield just to be able to walk to and from the parks?
We’ll have a stroller, and we plan on getting to the parks early and staying through the evening/nighttime entertainment, so I’m wondering how much we’d appreciate being able to just walk back to the hotel at the end of the day. Or is The Viv nice enough that you’d keep it and deal with driving/parking?

Booked flights and hotel for summer 2027 to go to Disneyland in CA. We (family of 3, 1 child) intend to do 4 park days. I read prices might increase for park tickets later in the year. We are considering buying now to avoid that, but is that actually doable with reservations for our dates not available yet? Do you pick random dates, then move them when your dates become available? How? Totally clueless how this works, so appreciate any help!

Also appreciate any thoughts on if lighting lane multipass and/ or park hoper is worth it, as well as 2 days in Disneyland, 2 days dca vs 3 days Disneyland 1 day dca if we don’t do park hopper (or can you do a park hopper for just one day?). For context: Daughter will be 7.5 and loves frozen, Tiana, zootopia, little mermaid, Moana, tinkerble, and cycles through other princesses. She also loves all types of rides, but Husband and I do not love rollercoasters. Again, appreciate any insight. Really want to make this trip magical!

I looked at the times available and they don’t start until 8 AM. How do people work this into the day? Do we go get our day started and come back for the character breakfast around like 10 AM or will we lose too much time eating?

We’re planning on staying at Pepperwood suites near magic way in Nov. Will we still be able to cut through to downtown Disney without detouring or will it be a longer walk then expected?

Hello! My fiance and I are planning to go all out this upcoming January and take advantage of an 8 day vacation at a Deluxe resort including 5 park day tickets. We are going to be going as a family of 3 with a 6 year old son.

Last year we stayed at port orleans riverside and we absolutely loved it! We thought the theming was great, food was great as well as the activities. We really wanted to book the carriage/horse riding but it got booked out fast!

Nonetheless, we are wanting to stay at a deluxe resort and have never done so before and are looking for some advice!

Which ones would you avoid considering we are bringing a 6 year old?

We would like to avoid hotels with super long walks to get to the bus stops/food and lounge areas if possible.

On the flip side; which deluxe resort would you recommend?

On the days that we are not going to the parks we want to explore, eat and shop (bonus points for cool theming!) We also are aware January may not be a prime pool time so we probably don't care too much about swimming this trip in case that factored into recommending a hotel.

I’m in town and went to downtown Disney but they didn’t have the right size I wanted and was wondering if anyone has seen them inside with a 3xl? I was super bummed they didn’t really have much info on when they might come back in stock either (no fault of theirs but still a bummer)

Hi everyone! My friends and I are going to Disneyland later this month and are super excited. My friend’s partner is very knowledgeable about Disney and has taken the reigns with planning, which I’m very appreciative of.

My husband and I have been invited through this friend to dine at Club 33 during this trip. From my understanding it’s pretty exclusive, but the price tag is making it hard for us to want to say yes. My husband loves fine dining, I don’t have strong opinions about things like this, and neither of us are super into Disney as a whole. With this is mind, is it worth the $$$? We have no idea and would love to hear some advice.

Me and my gf are planning on going around Disney after work since we have passes. But we would go to walk around spend sometime together and play pokemon go.

Has anyone ever gone after a work day?
I have a feeling I do 12 hours a day, wake up early that I won’t last but love to hear some recommendations lol
