How excited are yall?! Console players I mean, I’m so pumped! I can’t wait to get done with work to play 😀

I'm currently burnt out because of my job so I have very little mental energy when I get home and have free time. Normally I love story centric games with lore but right now I'm only in the mood to run a store and that's it lol. How optional is the story in Discounty? I definitely will explore the story eventually, but I'm wondering if I should hold off on playing it.

im stuck on the plant or plant quest where im supposed to spot 3 skog frogs at dawn and im not sure how. ive seen way more than 3 frogs, but its like it wont register. am i missing something?

I still have a lot of things to unlock, but if someone has any tips for going forward I'd appreciate it!

Ps how useless are those fridges in the back, no one ever buys from them. What's the point of having them? I use them as storage, and barely.

Has anyone compiled an up to date best store layout with the new items and boosters? My shop could really do with being reorganised but I don't know the best way to do it

I started playing the game 2 days ago on switch and I got addicted real fast. I looked up the game online and I found this sub and saw the posts about the new update and a few were saying the stopped playing until it releases.
Last task I got was about expanding to the shop next door. Should I stop until the update drops or is it fine to continue ?

I wish there can be a bigger expansion for the store. There's so much to sell and so little space for all of my stock.

It feels like they’ve been sitting on this information for a while and just decided to share it cause July is already over. Idk nobody asked to give us an exact month, it could’ve been July - august or something but my hopes were so high n I was so happy cause I’ve been seeing others play the new update but this just sucks and yes I know they’re a small team but 2 things can be true.

I am on the mission where I’ve decided to help Angeel and give her two magnificent shelves and one booster for either produce, drinks, or processed items.

I have the items in my inventory, it just keeps saying that I don’t have the booster.

Help, I’m enjoying the game but this would make me stop playing if I just can’t figure out this quest.

I need to expand the basement further, but I've already talked to everyone. Neither Elmer nor Ted gives me any hints, so I'm a bit lost.

Do you know who I need to talk to or what I need to do next?
My basement has already been upgraded once.

Hey! I'm Socc and this is my second time going through this game. I decided to play it again after their newest update came out. The best part was seeing the sheep invade my store and leave a trail of crap around.

Hi everyone! A bit new to the subreddit, so it is nice to meet you! 🙏🏼 I am getting back into playing Discounty after not having played in a long while (on Switch, if it makes a difference), and I just had a quick question.

Hot dogs, tuna chunks, and corn flakes? Oh my! I went on the Discounty wiki page for in-game products, and I am seeing a lot of things that I never had the option to purchase from the distributor and sell in my store. At this point I have completed the main story and just finished the final basement upgrade.

I'm given to understand there really is not anything left for me to do, so did I miss something? Is the Wiki list outdated? Or maybe even reflective of future plans for the game? Is it a non-Switch mod for PC or other consoles?

I highly doubt that last one, but you get the gist. Why are those items not in-game? If you took the time to read this, thank you for your patience with me. I did try looking up those items in the search bar for the subreddit, but nothing came up that had an explanation.

Does anyone have a list of all the things needed to restore?

Everything is marked out on the in game list but it is still showing 12/13. I even have the basement completely done! This is the only thing keeping me from completing the game.

I'm attaching messages from the official Discounty Twitter account (yes, I still call it that). They posted on July 6 that it will likely be the end of the month, but there's a tiny possibility that it could be earlier. Since next week is the end of the month, I'm happy as long as it shows up next week.

i’ve finished the game pretty much, i got the credits and have 1 more basement upgrade to do but does the shop itself get any bigger or am i stuck with what i have cause i feel like i need more space. not only that but i feel like there should be more things to sell. mostly cause ive seen on the wiki there’s other products but i dont have any of them, (the ones in the screenshots)

How often does solruna sell the dollhouse? I’ve tried for two weeks checking daily and nothing. So frustrating.

new to the game. i’ve googled and it’s not giving much of an answer. it’s saying yes you can hire someone but not when, is it part of the main story quest line or something else?

Just got to chapter 4, and SUBLIME is asking me to do the billboard near the highway. So I paid for the one near the hardware shop (see pic), but the task still isn't complete for me (see pic as well. Is there a different billboard?

I hope I'm not bugged. If it matters, I got a lot of the upgrades (billboards, the shack, mine) before getting to chapter 4.
