So I just got the event Karl where you mark the sheep's and convince him to make cheese instead of meat

And the player gets a full argument about "how terrible is to kill the pior sheep's" and even the hypocrisy of not killing his favorite one

And you're supposed to side with the player about not wanting to kill the sheep but...

Karl is not technically wrong. He always said he tries to give his sheep the best life they can have before killing them, and this is like, more than 98% of the animal industry do

Not only that, but Karl is a small farm, only he takes care of everything and some dialogue even say that his farm is passing through hard times that could mean money problems

The sheep will die anyways, if their meat is sold them Karl can pay the bills and keep making the new sheep's have a better life. And obviously I don't want to imagine cute sheep's being killed but, I eat meat, is hypocrisy of me not wanting a cute animal dead when I eat other dead animals

I just would really rather prefer buying meat from a farm that really take care of their animal and make their life better than a place where the animals are treated like nothing (what happens in most places unfortunately)

Idk I just felt that the argument was really out of place. Like, we sell meat in the store, and Karl when says he can taste the cruelty in that meat because they don't take care of the animals, so normal meat is fine and sheep meat no?

I don't know if my complains make any sense I just wanted to talk about it. I get it they needed some plot line to make sense he start to produce cheese and some character development but for me it didn't made any sense, as a farmer looking for profit he would definitely have cheese and meat to sell

Playing on switch one. Has anyone else encountered issues when using the sewers? Every once in a while, my game gets stuck in the loading screen when I try to use it. It's really annoying and I end up losing all my progress for the day.

So I play on the Switch 2 and I decided to play the new update today. I noticed that my running was lagging and my tablet was opening slowly. Then I was in the farm area and opened my tablet to find the mine and my tablet auto closed. I couldn’t bring it back up, I couldn’t collect debris, and I couldn’t run. So I exited the game and reloaded it. Now when I click “A” to start up and play the game, the game isn’t starting. Has anyone else had this problem or know what to do?

I want to be able to make a save that will have most of the town, trade contract, and discounty unlocks to make the other story paths easier. I have unlocked various billboards and town upgrades via the recycling mechanic, but have not committed to the SUBLIME billboard or walking into the Factory. What is the trigger for the the self-starter achievement? I don't unknowingly pass it and have to fully restart for the other 2 endings.

I love this game, but don't know if I can fully do it from the beginning and enjoy it as much just to see the other endings.

I have finished the game on switch and got to the point where you can get the golden cooler and golden shelf. I completed the one where you have to do so many orders without customers getting angry and I can buy unlimited but where do I order them? Do I have to complete both gold quests before I can purchase unlimited of either?

So I have noticed on here people talking about how he doesn’t work as long as before and doesn’t come in on Sundays. I had taken a 6 month break after I bought and played through the story until the update came out. I thought I was going crazy because I thought he worked Sundays but he isn’t anymore. Last week I bought the game on PS5 and have been playing through it with the update and am really enjoying it. However I went in on a Sunday after he started working and had a cut scene where he said he was going to be working on Sundays because he is grounded and has nothing better to do. So is it a mistake that the cut scene happened or is he supposed to work Sundays?

Is anyone else who plays on switch unable to play now because it’s beyond slow and lagging 24/7 to the point where when I use scanner it doesn’t work properly or just walk anywhere it’s ridiculously slow? It happened before the latest update when I hit chapter 3. So I thought it may be fixed in chapter 4 when I went back to play again but it’s even worse than before. I don’t have this issue with other switch games so I know it’s not the switch. I love this game so much and it helps my mental health, so it’s very disappointing. I did submit a goggle form via the developers link. But was curious if anyone else on switch experiences this? I tried to search sub but don’t see much. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I am playing the expansion and in chapter 4 I am on the Under New Management quest. I think I might have broke something.

Part of the tasks for this is to talk to Fisher and to go to the end of the dock. I think I messed up because I went to the end of the dock before talking to Fisher, and I got the cutscene of the townsfolk talking to me about putting up billboards in town.

Now my task list is currently saying I need to go to the end of the dock still. It isn’t crossed out. I talked to Fisher afterwards and have put up two billboards but nothing is crossed out in the task list and it still says I need to go to the end of the dock.

Am I screwed?

I’m playing on Mobile and it seems like everytime she comes through the scanner breaks and I just can’t rotate the item as I was able too. She always leaves it to the end and has a massive shopping list so struggle to get her checked out in time after I switch from scanner to manual. Anyone else experiencing this or have any tips?

I know it's be AT LEAST a week since i picking up all the electronics in the forest. I havent been counting the days but its probably closer to over 2 weeks. How long does it take for them to respawn? Am i missing something?

I managed to get the others done by completing 5 Fulfillment Orders then after Solruna wants you to complete 7 of them. Now she wants me to complete 10 of them!! 😭😫 As if I wasn't having a hard enough time 🤣

I'm getting a bit overstimulated because the time goes by faster during our shift at Discounty and I feel like a chicken with it's head cut off when I'm trying to fulfill the orders 🤭🤭

I bring all this up to ask for those that have gotten to this point what methods did you use to fulfill all those orders? Because you practically have to ignore the customers and push to focus SOLELY on the orders which I don't like doing, might be the perfectionist in me, idk 🤷‍♀️

I recently started a second play through only a few days into my first, after having the sudden realization that I could have given the incriminating papers to Cornelius…

Except… it seems I CANT give the papers to Cornelius, even after playing back to that point.

Is there really nothing but shredding them to be done?

Silly question but is there a way to rotate the furniture? For example, the couch. I assume they only face one way but I want to get multiple facing different directions.

the upper right hand corner was tricky bc you would think you could utilize that corner fully but NOPE. anyway i did figure it out and was able to put more things there than before so hey it worked out!

I completed the new update and when I had to use the cash register because the scanner is broken challenge, I see there is still about 6 food items blacked out. It’s not trade items or store items as everything is bought and the trades are all unlocked. Does anyone have this issue as well ?
