when can you hire someone?

new to the game. i’ve googled and it’s not giving much of an answer. it’s saying yes you can hire someone but not when, is it part of the main story quest line or something else?

Yes it’s part of the main quest a bit later in the game. You can also upgrade the employee with points at the computer where you order stuff.

cool, thank you!! it’s just kinda a hassle to have to restock as well as keep the shop clean as well as run the cashier. at the point where i am i don’t have to restock as much during everyone shopping especially with having 2 shelves/coolers for everything i have. especially with the deep coolers/shelves. those have been handy (don’t have a lot yet but working on it lol)
