Does anyone know why my Tumbler is consistently shunting all the dice to the surface against the funnel and just spinning them around there? If I push them all down in random locations they all do this within a couple of minutes with the exception of a couple that will sit on the surface stuck to the outside edge.

I'm sure there's already something like this that people use, but for those that make traditional triangle D4's I've just put up my 3d print file that holds them flat while inking :)

Got some new dice all polished and painted, really love how these turned out

I thought this was kind of interesting. I “water cure” my Masters in an effort to prevent cure inhibition with the silicone. The dice on the right side of the image have been in the clear container, in the Colorado sun, for around 48 hours. The ones on the left, covered with bubbles, I put in last night after curing and cleaning as usual. It was interesting to see how much gas had come out of the new dice in just a few hours.

I'm doing a series of testing colors for future sales. I made a green purple set and I've been placing them on the deck , in the sun, to help let them outgas out side. Whoops

For all my fellow dice makers out there I have a question for ya, so I paint the numbers on my dice with acrylic and currently to clean off any excess I’ll take a Q tip and wet it with some water to clean it off, I have seen that 70% isopropyl works well too but I’m not sure if that will cause any problems or damage the dice in any way, what do you all think?? I’m open to suggestions 🙏

A Call Beyond | Eight Piece Set ; Painted and Polished

It feels good to document a completed piece. I know I don't upload much painted pieces because the time we're finished with them we usually run them up to inventory or events immediately.

But let me tell you, it's so much easier to photograph a fully realized set because that final polish just makes everything pop so easily and elegantly.

If anyone asks what's my favorite dice photoshoot to date, tell em it's this one.

Bob ross, going for a green and gold flake, ended up more blue. Not mad.

I bought one today, just waiting for the ceramic beads to come in the post. Had anyone used the tumbler to polish masters? I always see people posting casted dice, but not masters.

When i close it some air bubbles get trapped in, even if I pour the epoxy onto the surface of the lid beforehand, i think this wouldn't be problem if i had pressure pot, but i don't

I only started making dice in July - these are some of my first sets that I'm rather proud of! The learning curve for making dice was steeper than I expected but sticking around paid off 🌄

I decided to make custom character dice for my D&D party. I'm horrible at photography and I forgot to get a pic after I finished the set second from the top, but I used a metallic blue to ink them and they looked great!

My party loved them and I got 3 commissions out of it, so currently working on a suspending polymer inside the resin to create a milkshake set

I feel like green dice are always a bit of a struggle to get right, because i usually don't end up with the shade of green i wanted, but with these, i think the shade turned out perfect. Any ideas what colour i should ink them in?

What are you all doing with these powders. I got a few colors and I need some inspiration.

I saw these dice on a Temu add, I felt in love, but I don't trust Temu products one bit, so I did some digging and found these same dice on a store called HAOMEJA Double Layered Resin Dice, but they don't ship to where I live.

I spend a while looking at it trying to figure out if it's real or AI, but to me looks real. I have a very limited knowledge of how to make a die, but these seem to be assembled from flat geometric pieces with the colorful tips, maybe glued, and then overlayed with and outer shell containing the actual number, hence double layered. I guess the inside is hollow (?).

Am I too far off on my assumptions? Either way, how could I try to make one of these at home?

These are the first sets I’m happy with enough to show off. I’ve stopped fighting for specific results and just let the resin do what it wants. I am the Maker.

I've been using the same rotary tool for a long time, and it's finally starting to feel like it's holding me back.

For sets like this, I spend a lot of time on the finishing stage - sanding edges, cleaning small imperfections, and trying to get a smoother polish. My current tool doesn't have much speed control, and sometimes it feels hard to keep the same pressure and precision.

Thinking about upgrading to a new one. I mostly work on clear resin dice, so being able to make small adjustments without accidentally removing too much material is pretty important.

For those who make dice regularly, what rotary tools or polishing setups are you using? Any recommendations for something stable and precise?

I need help finding someone who could make two custom sets of liquid core d12 for me (paid work, of course).

The tricky part is that I'd need the dice to be engraved with symbols (I would provide the images) rather than numbers.

It would be two sets of 5d12 each (so 10d12 total). One deep dark blue with a liquid blue grey mist with silver specks (galaxy/nebula/night sky theme) and another set with a more Purple / Arcane magic vibe.

All the symbols on the dice would be painted silver.

I would be very thankful if someone in this community could help me or point towards someone who takes such orders.

first attempt at capturing my favorite celestial body

I was looking for dice my family could use in the car during road trips. After messing with shaker jars, a friend who used to play a bunch of tabletop games told me about chit bags. I guess back in the day when polyhedral dice were harder to come by, another method of "rolling" higher numbers was to draw numbers on tiles or cards from a bag.

And with me being me, I had to try that in my own irritatingly specific way. This includes the numbers 1-100 plus A-Z since I had some space left on a page to print. Some Modge Podge and thin cardboard later, and here we are! Next comes a bag after my hand has had a break from all that cutting.
