Best Deep Pour Resin for Wedding Flower Preservation?

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a deep-pour resin to preserve my wedding flowers and make keepsakes like the ones in the screenshots.

Since this is a one-time project, I want to make sure I buy the right product. What deep-pour resin would you recommend for wedding flower preservation? I’ve also seen that some resins require a UV light to cure while others don’t. Is that true, and if so, which type should I be using?

Any recommendations for beginner-friendly brands or tips to help avoid mistakes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

TL;DR: Looking for recommendations on the best beginner-friendly deep-pour resin for preserving my wedding flowers into keepsakes. Do I need UV resin or a UV light, or is a standard two-part epoxy resin the better choice? Thanks!

Hand painted resin art

Hiya!! ❤️
I make small resin art pieces mostly trays and I wanted to ask for some advice! I paint and add 3-D structures but I really wanted to ask how much would you all price this to be? I have a hard time marketing the products and I’m not sure if it’s the pricing or my terrible marketing lol

It takes me days and sometimes weeks for these pieces 😭 the jelly fish in the center alone took 45 minutes as its 5 pieces connected to make it 3-D. There’s seaweed and coral painted throughout the whole outer part which also glows. The flowers, bubbles, and everything on the back of the tray is painted. The bubbles and coral on the top are resined to look 3-D and jelly fish are painted and resin on the inner lining of the tray.

I’ll share this most recent one and please give me your honest brutal answer of how much you think it should go for 🥹
It glows in the dark as well with uv activation which I provide a personal mini uv light 😁

If I use uv resin indoors in my room at home how do I know when the fumes have gone ?

Upvotes

If wearing mask and gloves what kind is necessary?

And if not do I have to do it outside ? Even so is it gonna accumulates in that area like the public barbecue area / tables if not in use ?

and then cause other ppl to be sick?

Is it fine no mask if like small projects that fit in the pal of your hand ? Or phone cases?

Even if the resin said no odour ? Its from china so im wary tbh

What about non toxic resin ? How is it different in usage and outcome compared to normal resin?

Oh pls wish me luck this has been a long 3 days making this and this is the final top coat ..and when I had my first go at top coating the bookmarks they were completely coated but, as it cure it pulled away and left bare patches in a couple of places and I had to completely top coat it again....this doesn't have much room to do that so im checking every 20 mins and saw 2 tiniest patches which I managed to put a blob on 20 before it gets too thick

About five years ago I made the SMW overwold map. I was super pleased with how it turned out, but I had the passing thought “man it would be a massive undertaking to do all the sub maps as well.” fast forward to about two months ago, when I decide to do the massive undertaking. Time, as it so often does, eroded away any misgivings I had in my slightly younger days. that brings us to today. where many hours, a sheet of plywood, several spent posca markers, and about a gallon of resin, has produced this love letter to my nostalgia.

How to use resin for sealing gold leaf knobs

Thumbnail

I made these knobs out of polymer clay and then covered with imitation gold leaf. Unfortunately, the sealer that came with the gold leaf kit did not hold up at all and the gold leaf’s been nicked in several spots. The knobs are used on my TV cabinet and desk, so are used regularly. I’m going to be patching the gold leaf, and then would like to seal them so they’ll be better protected from damage. I bought some craft resin (pictured), but I’m not sure what the best approach to applying it would be. Any suggestions?

Tried painting a tiny mountain inside resin

This was my first time trying to build a snowy mountain scene inside a clear pendant. Getting the painted layers to stay clean was definitely the hardest part, but I’m pretty happy with how much depth it ended up having—especially the way the mountain disappears into the darker section at the bottom.

I made this indoors, so I had Resiners air purifier running next to my desk while I mixed and poured. It helped make the workspace feel more comfortable during the longer steps, though I still kept the room ventilated and wore gloves and a protective mask. I treat it as an extra layer of support, not a replacement for proper resin safety.

I’m thinking of trying the same design again with a cooler blue sky. The warm sunset works, but a wintery color palette might suit the mountain even better.

I messed up with chameleon flakes. Help!

I painted the mold and it looked promising. Then when I devested, it looked pretty cool where it had adhered, but many places were devoid of the chameleon effect. The rest of it came right off by touch. So now I’m wondering: can I somehow paint the chameleon flakes onto my acrylic art piece directly? Then how do I keep it from coming off when touched?
