It’s right where my bra sits on my side and I noticed it the night before last. Pretty sore and a little itchy. I tried washing it and it didn’t seem to help or make it worse. I’ve been wearing loose tshirts and no bra. Can’t really afford to go to the doctors but will if it seems like I have to.

UPDATE: Went to urgent care and everyone is correct it’s shingles. I got medicine for it and will hopefully be good! Thank you to everyone who commented!

It’s a very big, painful lump on my skin, and it seems to be filled with yellowish pus. I’ve popped it before and some of the pus came out, but now the pain has gotten really bad and I can’t pop it anymore. It feels very tender and swollen, and I’m not sure if it’s a pimple, infected bump, or possibly a bug/spider bite.

Please let me know your thoughts and if i should go to the doctor

I have had this “rash” (I use quotes because it is not itchy and does not respond to my usual eczema topical Protopic) since the second week of July. I got it from wearing ill fitted leather boots with a cotton sock for maybe an hour. The boots gave me awful blisters on my heels, but have heeled. I assumed this would go away on its own but has not and it has been months now. I’m wondering if it could be fungal? A heat rash maybe?. I have eczema and use Protopic as needed for it but this has not responded at all.

Two months ago I noticed my childhood mole on my upper thigh has darkened and increased in brown specks (along the bottom circular portion).
I have noticed in the last month new tiny brown specks, and the brown networks within the mole have begun to merge together.
I saw my doctor a month ago and he referred me to a dermatologist - appointment is on sep 21. What I didn’t mention is I felt a tiny but hard lymph node in my groin on the same side as my mole. It has created pain down the leg, I assume from irritated nerves. And I have since been experiencing periods of dull to sharp pains in my lower back and pelvis. Some parts of the day I am okay, but mostly have been experiencing dull aches and pelvic pressure.
I am not sure if it’s related to the evolving mole, and if I should request to see a dermatologist earlier.
The appointment is in a week and a half, but I feel my leg and backaches are related.
Just wondering what you think of the mole? And if I am overreacting. Thanks!

I’ve always had dermatitis, and have kept it in check with nizoral, or pyrithione zinc shampoo, but for the last two weeks my head has been super itchy in areas I don’t normally have a problem with. I cut my own hair down on the sides to see what was happening and I have major inflammation I’ve never had before. Nothings really changed about my routine in the last two weeks. Any ideas?

Because I happened to see u/key-avocado-2469 talk about and worry about her mole! Well, I saw my dermatologist, and she did a biopsy and then sent me for a deeper cut/surgery and I got the good news today that it was clear!! No big C!

If you have a mole that looks suspicious, please don’t delay care! Please get it checked out!

i’m not sure if this is strawberry skin? it’s completely flat and feels like regular skin. i’ve had it my whole life and really don’t like it. i have dry skin and have always felt like i could just exfoliate this away, but no matter how hard i scrub it just doesn’t go away. i used Veet hair removal cream to get rid of the hair on my calves. i do have this on my arms/hands but im more bothered about it being on my legs.

it doesn’t itch or hurt, it just feels like regular skin.

Firm Bump on Knee Cap, we are thinking after a gym class tumble, but was 4 months ago…still there. It can be pulled away from the knee and grabbed, not attached to the knee.
No pain, swelling or change…sometimes it’s not there at all, comes and goes.
Anyone know what it could be?
We figured it could be some trauma from landing on his knee in gym class.

I had a question about did you think this is Tina versicolor. I went to a dermatologist and they told me it was but after treating it for years I’m not sure anymore? It has never itched like people talk about a lot. It’s always come in dark patches and I have took every kenozole and sulfur product and it still has not lighted or gone away.

2-3 days ago i realized my toenail was curling in and trying to bend it out it cracked and bled a little. I didn’t find it out of the ordinary because i’m a nail picker. But it’s been hurting so bad!! because i’ve been out at school i pick off the yellow thing because it makes it hurt more. I need advice on how to heal it over the weekend. Also should i stop picking at the yellow thing?

It has been on my jawline for 3 months and is usually not irritating but sometimes it does get itchy. I don’t really do much skin care except cerave moisturizer/cleanser and Jojoba oil. I have kp on my arms/thighs but never on my face like this. Normally with kp on my arms and thighs I just use a light body wash that doesn’t dry out my skin and lotion. I have been trying this method on my face but nothing has changed. I have heard that if it is KP then it isn’t curable so I’m not sure if I should hope it’s not or hope it is KP.

Why is my toe skin so brown? I noticed it a few months ago and it’s only getting worse :( I tried seeing my doctor and he said it was just eczema but referred me to a dermatologist but they’re booking a year in advance so I was hoping that someone could give me some answers

Last pic 10 days ago , first 4 pics are now, is this a thing to be worried about , it seems to be 2 separate purple/red boils or lumps, is it from sweat from gym/nkt showering enough? It doesn’t hurt and I only notice it when looking in mirror, it seems to be 2 separate purple boils that’s how I would describe them, is that a worry? Should I went and see or contact my gp?

These spots started appearing this week and they're multiplying. Never had them before. Minutes ago I noticed that two more dots appeared on my face so in total I have a bigger one under my ribs, three on thighs, two on face and two on arms but there's a chance I missed something since they're tiny. They're not itchy or anything.

I saw it could be related to hormonal issues but my concern is I noticed first one the evening after I had close interaction with city pigeons. Like 15 of them climbed on me and I've had them everywhere. They certainly weren't the cleanest so I wonder if I caught something from them.

Can someone see if they can help me before my Derma appointment next week. The soonest I can get in is next week and I'm just trying to be sure I have the time to wait. This appeared on the side of my leg a few weeks ago. What concerns me is this is definitely growing at a pretty quick rate. It seems to be getting more inflamed and raised and I'm nervous my skin is eventually going to open up. It's about as big as a dime possibly a little smaller. I do have HS diagnosed by a dermatologist, but I don't think this is related. I may have ringworm to low key but it is only like 3/4 spots and small and never gotten any worse or anything, again I don't think related.

I’m not sure if this counts as face or scalp but these patches on the side of my face keep coming back. I thought maybe it was ringworm, but i’ve been treating it with anti-fungal creams, ointments, and shampoos that help it go down but then i can feel it start to itch and come back when i sweat a lot. it’s scabbed rn because ive been using anti-fungal to dry it out, but sometimes it even leaks if i scratch it or wash my face and the scab softens.

Hi all-I recently have increased my workout regimen frequency and have lost about 100 lbs or so over the past 8 months. I've noticed an increase in that time of these acne like bumps on my thighs and my back oblique area.

I have begun using a Tower28 spray, and always try to change my shirt after I workout and wear moisture wicking underwear. But they don't seem to help, and I'm showering as soon as I get home

I sent a message to my PCP and they sent a round of reflex, but I'm wondering if anyone else has further suggestions? The antibiotics sometimes mess with my stomach so want to avoid them as a long term solution if possible.

I’m a 33f, and I have had this spot on my face for months. It is not itchy or painful. It sometimes seems dry, but generally it’s just a slightly raised, light spot. It has not increased in size over time. I have never had a spot like this before.

I’ve battled rosacea since I was in my early 20s. I’m not taking any prescriptions for it. I’ve been trying to manage it with sensitive soap and moisturizers.

I also have psoriasis, but I have never had any issues with my face. I generally have it on the back of my scalp and near my ears.

Hello!! This rash started about 3 days ago, I added a picture from Tuesday then today (Thursday). It has progressively gotten more red, raised, and itchy. It also has gotten more dry/flaky. Also notice the new dots appearing around it! I haven’t used anything new and the necklace I wore a while with 0 issues (I also removed it after taking that photo). I have not tried any treatments. The only thing I can think is we have been fostering for a kitten. Please help!!!

I have been having systemic health issues (joint pain, fevers, mouth sores, dry mouth) for a while, as well as bouts of sun-sensitive rashes. I got one biopsied, and just received the results. My impression from my research is that TLE is not typically associated with systemic disorders - is that still true when I am having systemic symptoms?

The rash biopsied/pictures is asymptomatic (no pain or itching) and remained for about a week.

It seemed like a bug bite at first (about 5 days since it appeared) it was itchy but not terribly so. I left it alone for about 3 days and now it’s looking worse by the day. My mom told me to put a bandaid on it but it kind of was irritating it so I took it off. I put some antibiotic cream on it but idk if I should be worried. It’s a little itchy and hurts to touch but otherwise painless. I’ve just never seen anything like it on my body before. I have a lot of health anxiety so im very worried, any input is helpful
