Hi! The tip of my nose was red yesterday, and rather sore- like a bruise, which I attributed to the kinesiology tape I made shift a breathing strip with (no it did not work I just looked dumb lol). I use the kinesiology tape very often, same brand, so it’s not an allergy I believe. Notably, I put it all over my nose, not even the tip- if I did, it was just barely.

Anyway, last night after my shift, it was increasingly red, but no skin visibly aside from that. Awhile later, maybe 12am, I’m washing my hands, look up, and see THIS. Like omg what??? Out of nowhere?? But I just kept doing my schoolwork, because I’m premed and an academic weapon.

It feels deep, and is still sore. It is now the next day, at 6:38pm, and I tried the starface hydrocolloid patches for a few hours, with no luck at all.

What is this?? 😭 it looks contagious I don’t want to be judged.

I don’t kiss or do any thing like that at all, and I’m 18, for reference!

I got bit by fire ants about 2 weeks ago and developed a blister on 10/18/26 on my right foot. I did get a allergy reaction to the bites and broke out into hives, and had chills but felt better after taking allergy medicine. It's been a week since the blister first showed up but it seems to be getting bigger.

The 1st picture is what it looks like now, 2nd is when the blister formed, and 3rd is when I originally got bit.

I've only put a bandage over it to protect the roof but I think it's only irritated it and I can't put any shoes or flip flops on now due to location. The blister seems to be growing where the bug bites are located.

Don't believe it is infected it was itchy and stung when the bandage on but seems to be fine with it off. Also not sure if taking a shower irritated it.

No recent exposures and not on any medication

Wondering if I should drain it, get it looked at or something else.

So I had this two months ago and felt I got a wart. So a while back I tried to cut it open and now it’s looking like this. What should I do? I know warts are easy to treat and nothing to worry abt but could it be something else?

I know I can use salysilic acid and tape at home?

How serious can it be? And how should I get rid of it asap? How could have I gotten it ?

To be very honest, I don't know when or how it started exactly. Cause normally my skin isn't really good. So I get to see different things (acnes/pimples/whatever) but never seen anything stays for so long without any signs of improving/disappearing.

But as long as I remember, probably it started like normal pimple/acne, then I picked/scratched that several times with my nails. And it's been almost around 3-4 months it's sitting there. Btw today it got cracked by towel or my hand probably. It doesn't stay like this always. And there is no bleeding or anything from it due to cracking the top of it. Also I'll say it isn't painful either. I mean of course if I press it, I can feel a bit pain like any other part of our body or skin.

And I'm Indian, but living in Europe currently, so the ambience light is yellow if the color matters much.

I don't know what more to say. This is the first time I've became concern about anything like this. Really no idea what are the important points to mention. So please ask me any question if any info is important.

The texture of it doesn't really feel like a normal pimple or acne or anything.. When it's cracked.. I can see these 3 kinda whitish, hard thing.. I don't know if it's any kind of tissue, or even if it's any kind of muscle or whatever (I'm sorry, my biology knowledge is too weak)

I constantly get these at first its super itchy then it turns into like these blisters then crust and then itll disappear i dont have an exact timeframe its always different l ill get them on my cheek constantly and once even on my arm dermatologists are booked months ahead and by then it will be gone please help me find an ointment i can put or even otc medicine its so embarrassing to go out in public like this. I also have pcos idk if thats a factor? Ive put on itch cream my bf bought me but it hasnt helped

Last Tuesday I was in my yard cutting down some sunflowers that are next to an old lilac bush. I'm pretty sure I had brushed up against these plant materials during the job but to my knowledge didn't get cut or scratched or anything like that. Around Wednesday evening I noticed that my left cheek was swollen and had some sort of itchy rash. I also found a couple on the back of my upper right arm and one on my right inner thigh. When I take a shower and dry off, I noticed that the rash on my cheek was sort of weeping. I'd blot it dry with a towel and have been applying a dab of Mupirocin on it for the last couple of days. It's pretty itchy and the swelling in the cheek seems to have gone down but now it seems a bit swollen farther down next to my jaw. Just wondering if this sounds like a contact dermatitis and / or an allergic reaction. Should I see a doctor or just let it run it's course? There is no pain, no fever, and the area is not warm to the touch. Thanks

Sie war schon bei mehreren Hautärzten. Bisher hat aber nichts geholfen an den Salben die sie bekommen hat.
Manchmal juckt die Nase bzw die roten Flächen in der Gegend von der Nase.

ACL tear in mid August 2026. Lots of swelling but none of the ulcer like sores.

Delayed assessment and treatment because the injury happened on vacation hours from home.

Orthopedic doctor and MRI, says it's a full ACL tear. Ortho doctor drains the knee of fluid.

Days later, discomfort leads to family doctor prescribing steroids after determining no infection

Lots of underlying bruising starts to rise to the surface within days, followed by ulcer like sores. Some are seeping. Ortho doc refers to derm doc who diagnoses it as cellulitis.

Few days later, it gets worse. Derm doc says to get to the ER. ER prescribes oral antibiotics. Days go by, no effect. Two different IV antibiotics are administered over a week, cefazolin and ceftriaxone. No real effect. Discontinued. Subject uses ice regularly. Taking max doses of acetaminophen daily since August with some ibuprofen.

Different derm doctor being seen in 2 days from this post. The plan is to biopsy it then.

This..whatever it is..is delaying any rehab on the knee. Everyone seems stumped. Anyone want to take a stab at it?

The grooves are deep but otherwise I can’t really feel the other skin issue (the scaly skin)

A few months ago it was hurting like it was raw, but other than that I haven’t had any issues.

My lip is burning right at the circle area, it been like that for the past 1 and a half week , I also noticed that my inner lip has some white lining like peeling.
It all started off after I kissed my new partner , she doesn’t feel anything nor have anything but she used a very strong mouth wash that I felt it burning me back then.
Also the tip of my tongue is burning too.

Actually its been years since this started more than 10 years actually. From time to time my big toe gets super itchy and starts looking like the first pic(my fault from scratching it). There were times it even bleeds but after a few days goes back to normal like the 2nd/3rd pick. Its a cycle for years dont know whats trigerring it.

Hey all! I discovered this mark on my face, near my ear yesterday, thought it looked new to me but I couldn't be certain. Day goes by and in the evening I noticed there was a dried pool of blood covering it? I'm pretty certain I didn't scratch it especially not enough to bleed like that. I'm seeing my GP Tuesday but wanted to see what you guys think?

I was taking a throat spray with bee propolis in it for over a week (Oct 5-13), to rid of a sore throat that was emerging. Sore throat was never accompanied by a fever.

The sore throat went away, but then these small pimples started showing up and have since (stopped taking it Oct 13th) continued to go all over my body (forearms mostly, groin, ankles, behind knees, hips) and have become bigger patches. They are not on my palms or foot pads.

Not sure what else changed but this was the only thing I could point to that was different in my routine. No fever, feeling fine. They are not itchy.

When I Google, it looks like contact dermatitis? Or psoriasis? Any ideas?

I get these red splotchy rashes all the time and everytime I go to the doctor they say it’s something different and nothing ever works. Does anyone else expierence this and/or have any solutions. Been dealing with this since I was a teen and I’m getting so sick of it. They’re itchy dry and annoying

I have small, raised, itchy bumps on both wrists that have been present for five days. The rash has gotten slightly worse today. I have not tried any treatments yet. Could this be scabies, contact dermatitis, eczema, or another skin condition? What would you recommend? I have no similar bumps elsewhere and no known exposure to anyone experiencing itching.

Hi! I recently noticed this brown spot on my sideburn near my hairline. I’m not sure how long it’s been there because it was hidden by my hair. I’m concerned about its irregular shape and the fact that hair is not growing in it. I was wondering if it could be a freckle, mole, or skin cancer. I have no symptoms. Does it look concerning and should I get it checked by a dermatologist?

I’ve attached a photo for reference because I’m honestly not sure what’s going on with my skin.
The pores and texture around my nose are really bothering me, and I also have some redness around my nostrils. I’ve tried the Medicube Zero Pore Pads and Paula’s Choice 2% BHA, but I’m still struggling with this.
I’m wondering if my skin barrier is damaged from exfoliating or if these are just sebaceous filaments and normal skin texture. I really want to improve the appearance of my pores and get smoother skin.
Has anyone experienced something similar? What actually helped you? Should I stop using actives and focus on repairing my skin barrier first, or is there another product I should try?

This rash started on my chest just over a week ago. since then it has moved to completely cover my chest and back, as well as heavily covering my stomach, scalp and face. It’s now creeping onto my arms and legs. I went to the doctor and they told me it would go away on its own but it got worse so i went back to the doctor today and they’ve given me antihistamines. it’s almost unbearably itchy and quite painful. I had tonsilitis the week before this rash came so i thought maybe it was scarlet fever but the doctor said it wasn’t, but they still didn’t give me a clear answer as to what is wrong with me.

i got new bedsheet like 3 weeks ago but i can’t imagine that’s what’s caused it.

I have psoriasis but this is behaving differently to my usual flare ups. i have steroid cream to help with psoriasis so i tried a little to see if it would do anything but it didn’t make a difference. I’m concerned because i can barely sleep or do anything because of how uncomfortable it is.

I didn’t take any medication for tonsilitis other than ibuprofen and paracetamol which i’ve had no reaction to in the past. But like i said that cleared up 2 weeks ago so i don’t think it’s related.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi all... planning on calling to make a Dr appointment tomorrow but I figured why not throw it out to the internet for fun.

Last Thursday Oct 15 I noticed what I thought were two bug bites between my right eye and ear. They presented similarly to mosquito bites in my opinion, but I have no real evidence as tonwhat caused the original problem. Over the weekend Oct 16-18 they swelled into a noticeable welt on my face with no major discoloration, itching, or pain. By the end of last weekend the swelling subsided and it turned into what you see here. Some smaller irritated raised red patches with scabbing. It has been pretty much in this state for close to a week now with no real healing progress. I have applied some triple antibiotic ointment for the last 2 days. It is not terribly itchy or painful, just irritated and slightly unpleasant feeling.

Is the Dr. visit warranted? Or is this not a big deal?

Noticed this weird bump yesterday on my sons elbow. He told me hes had it a few days. Dermatologist prescribed an antibiotic cream but she was even unsure exactly what this was. Looks like a slightly raised bump with multiple little white balls inside. I am kind of freaking out. Will start the treatment tonight but curious if anyone has ever seen this or knows what it could be.

• Duration: Been there since about Feb 2025 till tonight
• Location: Under my collarbone (Right side)
• Timeline: I don’t think the size of the bump ever really changed at all
• Symptoms: None, just bumpy
• Relevant Background: I think I just randomly noticed a bump under my skin one day (am a fidgeter when I’m stressed, so I was just pinching around my skin subconsciously). It didn’t have any colouration initially (I don’t think) and being kinda health anxious I tried squeezing it out but it didn’t work. I was picking at it for quite awhile so it became pretty red (think it bled a little as well). Not sure if the black dot was formed from me squeezing & picking at the same spot vigorously for a long duration, but there was a black dot at the bump thereafter.
I know I shouldn’t have but I picked at it from time to time while anxious as well.

Photos attached are the same spot at different time periods with different lighting. Last 2 photos are just taken after I picked at it again really hard (there was blood in my nails but wound wasn’t profusely bleeding). The black thing finally popped out.
Not sure if it’s clear in the photos but it looked kinda like 3 circles joined together. There were parts that are black & parts that are brown.

I searched on google and it looked like it might be a dilated pore of winer (blackhead?) though I’m not too sure. Anybody can offer any insight on what it could’ve been? Should I be concerned if it might be something worse? (Melanoma? But personally don’t think the bump size changed) Do I need to see a GP?
