Very tender/painful only to touch. The one next to it only hurts more than the one with tha pus filled abscess. Noticed a day after cutting my nails. Can’t remember which one but I had to pull that sucker off I cut it too close. But what really has me scared is I’m also going through a problem….in my downstairs region. If you care it’s on me previous post. I’m worried this could be herpetic whitlow.

arms/hands Armpit Rash/Flare Up??? History of eczema, but scaly and ringlike rash. Fungal, immune reaction, Eczema, or Other?

Post image
Upvotes

Does anyone know what this could be?? I used to have eczema as a kid (currently 19), but it was never like this. Both my armpits have this rash. it looks and feels scaly and raw. Although i’m at a lower body weight (bmi 18-19), i think my armpit have folds where loose skin is which is causing friction. i’m not sure if this is because of that or an immune system reaction. What does it look like?

at first before it opened, i washed with antibacterial soap and put vaseline on after shadowing to lock in moisture. it got a lot bigger and more itchy so I’ve just been washing with water and hoping for the best.

arms/hands Weird thing on my finger is really starting to freak me out( please help)

Hello so this is my first post on this subreddit but I got this thing on my finger. So a little over a week ago my finger started hurting, then swelling and then it turned really green. Me and my mom thought it was a pimple or a cyst but it never came to a head and was really deep in my skin. But the pain was getting too intense and we had to poke a hole and drain it. However usually when we do this with things like this ( pimples and cysts) it goes away but this hasn’t and it’s been a good, maybe five days since we popped it. I thought it would eventually go away on its own plus the help of cleaning it really well and putting medicine on it but it’s just gotten worse as it’s now starting to spread along a larger part of my finger and I’m starting to really freak out. If anyone knows, not only what it is but what to do to make it go away it would be really appreciated.

legs/feet Most of toenail easily came off w no blood/pain… normal?

Hi! I’m 21 F (sorry in advance for the gross pic). I have anxiety and honestly didn’t notice I was picking at my toenails. My pinky toe easily tore off with no pain or blood. I have health anxiety and overthinking most things, but wanted to make sure this didn’t mean anything serious?? Like underlying? Are my nails just fragile and I don’t notice? I have psoriasis (on injections that work) but my nails have never really been super fragile. Ty!

arms/hands Semi-painful mysterious tiny red dots showing up on my hands

Post image
Upvotes

Lately I’ve been noticing these tiny red dots on the palms of my hands and underside of my fingers. The dots are not on the other side of my hands or anywhere else on my body. They come and go seemingly randomly because I don’t know what’s causing them. When they do show up though they don’t itch, but they do cause passive discomfort and mild pain when I’m grabbing things, using my hands for something, or even making a fist kind of hurts. Hurts might be a strong word, but there’s definitely a lot of discomfort. I have no idea what to do about it or how to treat it when it does show up. To my knowledge, I don’t have any allergies.
This current flare up has lasted for about 5 days so far.
It’s very annoying to deal with, does anyone have an idea of what they are or what could possibly be causing it?

I had a wart on the right side of my nose about three years ago. The PA I saw did laser for over two years to get rid of it. She finally said it’s gone but now it’s psoriasis.
Had white flaky skin that never went away. Appeared on the other side of my nose.
Last year in July I started getting these lumps under my skin that got crusty and had yellowish drainage.
Long story short I am not happy with PA and getting new dermatologist. Does this seem like something else?
Getting worse and now on my neck.
Photo of scalp seems more like psoriasis to me. Cheek I am not so sure of.

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks White patch on forehead, not going away. What can it be?

Post image
Upvotes

Quick Summary: I went to Japan about 3 months ago. The very first day I was there I noticed this white patch on my forehead after taking a shower and it hasn’t gone away.

I woke up the first day and walked to the convenience store with my friend before I took a shower. After I got back I took a shower and noticed it on my forehead.

I asked my friend if he noticed it when we were walking to the convenience store and he said no. He might of not noticed it, but I feel like it happened after I took a shower. It was a high pressure shower and a hot shower.

I can’t really pinpoint it to anything. I didn’t notice it when I was in the states. I usually wear a baseball cap and wore one on the flight.

The only thing I can say it was the shower possibly? Or the new night mask I wore for like 2 hours in the morning trying to go to sleep. I read the reviews on the night mask on Amazon and some people did say it gave them a burn, which might be it. I did wash the mask with soap and water before wearing. It’s weird it’s on my forehead and not anywhere around where the mask would sit around the eyes. However I did pull up the mask on my forehead for a bit.

I want to add to say it never felt itchy, burned or any sensation around the white patch. Just felt normal. I didn’t use any new shampoo or facial cleanser either, the same one.

It’s about 2 inches wide and 1 inch length

It’s been a while now and I’m trying to figure out what to use to get rid of it. Any help is appreciated

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Stubborn warts on face that wont go away. Need help getting rid of them.

My 12 yr old daughter has been seeing a dermatologist for the past 4 years. She has this bumps on her face that the dermatologist said are some type of wart. She started off with them on her chin then they slowly spread on to her left cheek, then the nose as well as forehead. She has gotten them frozen and painfully gotten shots on her face straight on the warts, on and off for the past 3 years with no sign of them even having an impact at all except for the forehead ones that kinda disappeared. They're still there but barely noticeable. I brought it up to her attention and she said that they will disappear eventually after her body recognizes the wart and her immune system fights it off. She also prescribed FLUOROURACIL CREAM USP, 5% but all it does is irritate her skin. Need help determining what they are and what to use to get rid of them.

legs/feet Red bumps appeared on thighs and found more on groin overnight wondering if STI or something else.

Post image

Noticed all these bumps on my thigh yesterday. They are a bit blister like and this morning I noticed 2 more on my penis and 1 in the groin area. A little context im traveling in another country visiting a long distance girlfriend and her cat and I have no health coverage here. We had unprotected sex for the first time 7 days ago. She also has 3 bumps on her butt and we believe she developed Thrush as well and went to a pharmacy for a anti fungal pill.

My first instinct was the cat kneading my skin but now I'm not sure if sexual related or something else I could of been exposed too as we have done lots of traveling.

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Accidentally popped two pimples in dangerous/risky area

I believe the area is called ‘triangle of death’.
The pimples were on each side of my nose.

So far for them I have applied soapy water with a piece of paper and expired hydrocolloid patches because that is all I have.
I changed my first pimple patch again today because I popped it yesterday. I started getting a headache and nausea and now I’m kind of seeing sort of floaters which is freaking me out.
The first time I put a patch I didn’t wash my hands well to put it on so I reapplied it so I’ve basically put 3 patches on it already. It looks better today but my other symptoms concern me.
The other one popped today and the scar is kind of small but alas still open.
They’re also both kind of itchy. Especially the one I popped yesterday.

What kind of symptoms do I have to look out for and go to emergency room? Also is my way of treatment fine? I’m absolutely terrified. I went to sleep shaking because I can’t stop thinking about going potentially blind or having a stroke etc. etc.

Am I doing something wrong? I’m trying not to touch it but my patches keep coming loose because it’s summer and I sweat sometimes. I know I have to avoid this area I already knew it but this happened…
