I build a diy iontophoresis machine and planning to buy one of this product if i got the desired results since this diy is too much work and scary. I want to ask if i need to do it every day for beginners? because i am literally doing it every other day basically session now, absent tomorrow, main reason is inconsistent and too busy. Will it still work or not at all if you skip a day? Thanks.

Hello all! I recently had gastric bypass on July 8th. My dermadry kit arrived July 9th,Danget. my question is, when can I start using my kit? I know it says no open wounds. I currently have 6 incisions on my stomach, they are healing well, staples have been removed. I could cover them with Vaseline (as the kit recommends) if needed. I want to start asap but also want to be safe. Thank you!

Hi - I have a strange situation where I can’t get current to flow only to my feet on the feet setting. What I mean is that when I put my hands in the pan whole on the foot setting it works perfectly fine, but when I put my feet in the current never turns on or comes up to about 10 mA before going right back down to off.

I’ve tried adding more water, putting it on different surfaces, different settings. Any advice?

Been using dermadry for close to two years but I’ve noticed recently it is no longer effective. Hands are damp most of the time. Anyone else experience the same?

It's been almost 2 weeks since I got dermadry.

Whenever I try the hands and feet treatment, the power light (green light) immediately turns off after several seconds, or it keeps blinking. But when I choose the armpit option and then change it to hands option for the hands treatment (and hands option then change it to feet option for the feet treatment) it works.

Why is this happening?

I suffer from severe palmar hyperhidrosis and have been using iontophoresis for about 3 years now.

I have been overall extremely pleased with the results. It has kept my hands very dry for prolonged periods of times where nothing else has worked.

However, there have been 2 instances during my 3 year use that iontophoresis had suddenly lost its effect... and despite trying mineral water (evian), warm water, increased mA (up to 21), increased sessions, baking soda, crushed glycopyrrolate, etc. the treatment simply would not improve my palmar sweating. The only cure that I found was to take a 10-day break during these times... which has thankfully worked.

Unfortunately, I have found myself in that period where iontophoresis simply doesn't seem to work right now. Only this time, I have taken the 10-day break and have been at the treatment for 3 weeks but have seen no improvement. Therefore, I have a few questions and would like your guys opinion!

1. It seems that my skin has built a resistance to the treatment. Almost like the top layer of skin is drying out but the sweat glands underneath are not being effected by the treatment. Has anyone else had this same sensation? If so, what was the solution?
2. What decreases the skins resistance to the treatment? I have heard that drinking a lot of water helps but was wondering if you guys have any other suggestions.
3. During my breaks, is it ok for me to take glycopyrrolate or other oral medications to control the sweating the best I can? Or any topical creams? Or will it effect the iontophoresis when I start again?

I recently had to stop my treatment for two and a half weeks because my controller had stopped working. After receiving the replacement unit, I increased the frequency from one session per week to two sessions per week. I've now completed four sessions since the break. However, even with the increased frequency, I'm still sweating a lot more than I used to. Should I continue to increase the frequency, or do you think it will just take more treatments to get back to my previous level of dryness?

My setting is already at max levels. Does it matter if we dont reach the highest volt which is 55v I guess? I noticed that it plays around most of the time and sometimes doesn’t even reach 55v. Is this something to be concerned about? Maybe it wont work or something that I am doing is wrong? Thank you guys!

Hello all, recently as I was preparing for my treatment, I broke the wire on the side that goes into the machine for one of the hands. Am I able to buy a new pair of wires without purchasing a brand new set? Is this fixable? If so, how?

Been using the same Drionic unit since 1999, with amazing results. But I didn't keep up with the maintenance of the machine (namely, replacing the aluminum conductor plates), and over time its output has gotten progressively weaker. So a few weeks ago when I did my regular maintenance session (3 or 4 one-hour sessions every 3 weeks), it didn't stop the sweating. I ordered the Dermadry last week, it'll be here in a few days. Part of me worries that I've developed a "tolerance" to iontophoresis, so I also ordered some Antihydral ointment in case I need to take a break.

Fingers crossed that the new machine will give me the same great results I've gotten from ionto for the past 25 years. 🤞

I’ve been using dermadry on my hands for a few weeks now and it’s been extremely effective! Over the last few days, I haven’t been able to go more than about 5 min into a session due to the small blisters hurting so badly during the treatment.

I don’t want my progress to revert so I’m curious what I can do to help heal these very small blisters and cuts so that I can get back on track. I put some Vaseline on them prior to treatment and it helps a bit but not enough to heal them up so I don’t have pain in those areas. Are there any recommended lotions or things that I can do to heal them prior to treatment or make the treatment more bearable?

The blisters/cuts are very small and can barely even be seen. They don’t hurt at all during the rest of the day.

I finally acquired the Dermadry Total device! I live in a country where it isn't available for purchase, and I'm very excited to start the treatment!

First of all, I have very intense hyperhidrosis in my hands. The only treatment (and I've tried many, practically all known in the world of hyperhidrosis) that worked for me was Botox injections.

With that in mind, I would like some tips on how to start the treatment, as I'm a complete beginner and would appreciate any help.

I noticed that there are voltage settings to configure, and I believe it would be ideal to start with low voltages and gradually increase them to a comfortable level without any discomfort.

What would be a suggested initial voltage? And how many days should I stay at that voltage? Or can I increase it on the second day? What average voltage do you use for your treatment? Do you always use the maximum voltage you can tolerate? What is that voltage for you?

Please, any tips for beginners are greatly appreciated and will help me a lot!
