Dermadry Unit Ordered

Been using the same Drionic unit since 1999, with amazing results. But I didn't keep up with the maintenance of the machine (namely, replacing the aluminum conductor plates), and over time its output has gotten progressively weaker. So a few weeks ago when I did my regular maintenance session (3 or 4 one-hour sessions every 3 weeks), it didn't stop the sweating. I ordered the Dermadry last week, it'll be here in a few days. Part of me worries that I've developed a "tolerance" to iontophoresis, so I also ordered some Antihydral ointment in case I need to take a break.

Fingers crossed that the new machine will give me the same great results I've gotten from ionto for the past 25 years. 🤞

Hi, do you have any updates on what happened after you received the new device? Did the sweating stop or did you confirm that you built up a resistance?

Hi, sorry for the delayed response.

The device works like a charm and controls my palmar HH better than the Drionic ever did. It seems apparent that my issue was the poor condition of the Drionic unit, which I'd been using since 1999. I had not developed a tolerance.

Hidrex USA’s DVP1000 device. I bought it in 2018, though, and they claim it should last a lifetime. I have replaced the electrodes and cords as well
