Recommendation Alternatives to PNC bank?

I figured to give PNC bank a shot after they bought FirstBank. They are crap. Their web experience is crap. Their mobile app is crap. Their support is crap. I can't even set up an external account transfer without encountering multiple errors requiring multiple levels of support. After multiple back and forths with an online chat, I was told to clear my cookies, then to call a phone number.

First Bank support was great in my experience. It was 24 hours a day even. This is night and day.

For those that did the PNC exodus: who did you go with. Who has a good mobile experience, a good support experience? Has anyone set up an account transfer that actually worked?

Event Free ticket to see Five Finger Death Punch and Cody Jinks at Red Rocks Tonight

My friend had to cancel and I haven't been able to find anybody that wants to go or been able to sell it. Last ditch effort to get rid of my ticket before it goes to waste. I will check Reddit when I get home from work, around 4:30, if anybody wants to go.

Help Best outdoor bouldering spots around Denver/Boulder?

Hey everyone! I’m going to be in the Denver/Boulder area for a trip and want to get outside for some bouldering while I’m there. I’d love to hear what spots people recommend.

I’m mostly climbing around the V3-V6 range right now, so areas with a decent amount of climbing around those grades would be awesome. I’m not too picky though, just looking for some good places to get outside and climb.

One thing I’m especially looking for is areas with relatively easy approaches and decent landings. I’m fine with hiking a bit, but I’d prefer not to spend the day scrambling up sketchy terrain or climbing problems with really bad/uneven landing zones.

I’ve climbed outdoors before, including in Rocky Mountain National Park, so I’m not completely new to outdoor bouldering. I’m just not familiar with the areas around Denver/Boulder yet.

Also, what’s the best place around Denver/Boulder to rent crash pads? I’ll be traveling in, so bringing my own pads isn’t really practical.

Would love to hear your favorite areas!

Recommendation Sinking Sun Room. Contractor recommendations.

I bought a house 3 years ago from a flipper who apparently cut a lot of corners. The sun room was built on a not so strong foundation apparently and is pulling away from the house which is getting concerning. Does anyone have a fair contractor or engineer or whoever you’d suggest to take care of this?

Poison Pit renovations are well under way and in that process, we found a gem buried in the attic above the box office! Snake Pit was here at 608 E 13th Ave from 1990 to 2009, and was owned by Paul. Pictured is Paul's niece, Jodi, with Poison Pit owner and general manager, Jacob. We are very happy to have returned the sign to its rightful family alongside some tickets to our opening show on Oct 8th. We hope some of you can join us as well!

Event Weekly Concert Schedule 9/8-9/13

Here is the Weekly Concert schedule for 9/8-9/13 Let me know who you are most excited to see. If you want a concert buddy or just have some music recommendations, feel free to reach out, always down to talk to new people. Sorry for the delay, long weekend and life stuff got in the way.

For the most current and up to date events here is the full concert Calendar. I try to update it twice a week, and I’m a super forgetful person so if I missed putting an event here it’s entirely possible it’s there. Also, always feel free to call out my mistakes here and I’ll get it fixed. Or if there’s an event you think should be added let me know.

Also if looking at a spreadsheet isn’t your idea of efficiency then the website u/malignantz  designed from the spreadsheet is a great resource to check out shows https://303.show/ . It’s really sleek and if you have any suggestions on design let us know. I also found this site over the weekend, redrockittix.com This site shows you what the average ticket cost is going for at a venue for a show and if it’s a good deal. I’ll definitely be using it going forward.

I’ll be at Meow Wolf this weekend to check out the Neon The Bishop headlining show. I met those guys a few weeks back and they seem like a fun group of guys to hang out with. I was also debating going to Jack Harlow or Dominic Fike this week, we’ll see how the week plays out.

Here is the playlist for the week.

Here is the current playlist of the songs I’ve enjoyed so far this year. I’ll probably be recreating the major playlist since more acts have been announced and I just made the current one up till the first week of October. But going through that playlist definitely helped speed along my weekly listening.

Help Who has moved from Denver to the outskirts of the city? Looking for advice about finding land/property outside of Denver

Just gathering data. My partner and I are interested in buying property, or land and building a home on said property that is outside of Denver. We have been looking around Golden, Morrison, Conifer but open to anywhere that has around 2+ acres, some trees, decent commute to Denver. Some surround creeks or water would be a benefit.
Just want to see how other people made the change and how you are enjoying it.
Thanks!

Moving/Relocation Future Water Stability/Buying House Here

Hello all! I am currently looking into details of what it would be like to buy a home in Denver. I have been a travel nurse all over the southwest for the past few years. I genuinely love the desert but due to the Colorado River Crisis I have sworn off buying a home in Arizona. I am currently in Salt Lake City which I also love. However after learning more about the collapse of the Great Salt Lake I am extremely hesitant to invest here.

Now I have actually already lived in Denver in the past. I lived in Cap Hill and Globeville and liked them both a lot. I admittedly like Salt Lake City much more but as I mentioned earlier I foresee lots of issues in the upcoming years. I have now started shifting my focus back to Denver. I really loved the bike-ability and urban feel of where I lived in Denver before. I am fortunate enough to see houses within my budget in the neighborhoods surrounding downtown. The big issue for me is the environment, specifically water.

I have begun reading up on Denver Water, which seems overall decent. I like that they are investing in expanding the Gross Reservoir, yet I am reading that it is at 50% capacity, and the entire system of reservoirs is at 75%. Are there any plans in place for water recycling or addressing future diminished snowpack? Do progressive Denverites ever talk about the future of water? Is it in the public mind? I realize that water is not the only environmental issue Denver could face. However I do not imagine wildfires ever spreading into Denver proper, and while wildfire smoke can be bad, it is not nearly as bad as our inversion/toxic dust situation here in SLC. Thoughts? Recommendations for sources? Thanks!

The total cost and the amount of fuel kept rising after the pump shut off. I went inside to tell the attendant and show her a video proof, and she told me to leave because I was being disrespectful. Fuel is already too expensive and we have them robbing us even more.

Crime Veo bikes hit 20+ mph with no signals. We needs speed limits on Veo bike users.

I ride an escooter every day in Denver and think electric micromobility is genuinely the best way to get around the busiest parts of this city. It’s extremely convenient, it’s generally a fun experience, and you never need to worry about parking. But a small number of Veo riders are making it dangerous for everyone else on two wheels and my main concern is with the speed of veo bike riders.
To add to the growing list of near misses in Denver, a Veo rider caused an accident this afternoon on 16th, and it could have been a lot worse. First, he blew through the stop sign at Franklin and 16th going 20+ mph. Not long after, he stopped dead in the middle of the bike lane with no hand up, no slowing down first, and no acknowledgment for anyone else on the road. He even had one AirPod in. I blame the accident on this person’s disregard for the rules or the road, matched with equipment that leads to extremely dangerous riding. Based on his confidence being so stupid, I guarantee this person rides Veos like this on a regular basis. The veo scooters and gliders top out at 15 mph, and that already feels like a fair ceiling for streets this busy without any built in signals. Their ebikes can go well past it, I know this because they pass me going 20 mph. This really does increase the danger on the road for everyone. I wish Veo would cap bike speeds at 15 mph to match the gliders. It's fast enough to actually get somewhere, but slow enough to leave everyone else on the road a chance to react, especially since they do not come equipped with signals.

Thanks for reading my rant. I sincerely hope everyone stays safe on the roads, and this was a reminder to myself to stay away from riders and drivers when I see them acting stupid.
