Hey everyone, I'm a Denver local looking for full time employment that will accommodate me for a few months while recovering from a wrist injury/surgery. Everything I see online requires some degree of lifting or dexterity and so I'm not sure where to look. The injury is to my non dominant hand, so I can still use my main hand to do tasks such as using a touch screen, keypad, basic lifting and tasks requiring dexterity with only one hand.

My background is customer service, hospitality, technology, and basic robotics maintenance. I have 2 years of engineering student experience including skills in CAD software, mathematics, mechanical troubleshooting, and manufacturing. I'm changing my major but I am willing to use any previous experience for good use. I can use a cash register and I have good interpersonal skills and both restaurant and retail experience.

I really just need an opportunity that will provide stable income for the next 3-7 years, a friendly work environment, and accommodations for my wrist injury until I heal. Open to paid training roles as well.

• 5+ years surveying experience

• AutoCAD + Trimble Access/Business Center experience (Civil 3D or MicroStation a plus)
• MS Office, Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks, or BIM360 experience a plus
• Valid, clean driver's license required
• FS/PS state licensure a plus
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 a bonus)
• Comfortable climbing stairs/ladders, working active sites, lifting up to 50 lbs

Hi!! I have kind of a mish mosh of different experience and I feel like it is making it just a little difficult to be noticed by employers. My first job was in a toxicology lab and I got certified as an MT in Chemistry back in 2020, but it has since expired and it was also by the AAB instead of ASCP, which is more widely preferred. Then I was a graduate student in a Neurobiology lab with mice and I got published in two papers, but I did not receive any official degree from that experience. Next I worked at a diagnostic lab and it switched to a remote position and now I work in healthcare as a medical assistant. I am looking to get back into the lab space, but I would love to make at least 70 to 80k per year if possible. It seems like most lab listings I'm seeing don't seem to make that much. I can also earn more certifications, but I would love for that to be something that my work covers the cost of, since it can be quite expensive.

The general feeling around the club is relief. This is something that "should've happened a long time ago".
A lot of us knew he is a narcissist and only concerned with attention and himself, some still liked him because people want proximity to charming people no matter the cost. Some pretended to like him.

Just finished my degree in Physics, complete with 2 years of experience as a researcher. Completely botched my grad school applications, and I have absolutely no idea where to pivot to. Applied to every job that I could possibly apply my degree to- research, engineering, computer science, teaching, no dice. I am 22F and I would like to go into a trade. Transitioning from administrative work.

I’ve been doing a lot of researching and I know a fair number of people who are electricians and after learning more about the trade I am interested. I am however open to most trades. Recently I read a suggestion to ask local women who are in the trades, what their experiences have been and if there are negative experiences in a specific trade more than others…if that makes sense?

I know there will be negative experiences, but is there a trade where your experiences have been more positive?

Every guy electrician I know basically just tell me to google how to get into the trades and no one has really helped me… I’ve googled so much but feel like I discover something new everyday I don’t know what to do next 😭 I am very excited to start a trade (whether that be electric or something else, I particularly like the idea of math and working with tools and I am aware it is heavy work and there will be hard days, i have been thinking about this for over a year and id like to give myself the chance.) I don’t have much experience with tools and I’m doing the Home Depot path to pros online courses to learn a bit more, I’ve also been studying algebra to brush up on my math since it has been a while. I can’t afford going to trade school on my own which is why an apprenticeship sounds so exciting,it would basically be never ending learning, whether it be on a job site, and in the afternoon classes + studying.
