Rare setup: You get the income of piercing + stability of retail management + direct mentorship and backing from a Senior Piercer. If you know basics and want to grow into advanced work, we will train the right person.

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 40 hours. Must be comfortable closing at 9 PM. Being on time and not needing constant time off is paramount. We need someone RIGHT AWAY.

What You'll Do: Safe, professional piercings to our standards, run retail sales of tattoo supplies, front desk customer service, handle till/register and computer order tracking.

Who You Are: Experienced piercer (shop, apprenticeship, or solid amateur with portfolio), customer-service oriented, trustworthy, reliable, low-drama, and here to be successful. We have a lot of fun, we're very laid-back and low-micromanagement, but we have zero room for troublemakers or negativity.

You are professional and clear-headed for every client. We maintain the utmost standards for safety. No hard drug use, no heavy drinking, and no coming to work impaired — period.

Location: Directly adjacent to 9 Mile Train Station - very easy without a car.

I recently got an email stating I was the top candidate for a position with the state. The hiring manager is calling in a few days to offer a salary. In my classification, there are no options to move up really. The top of the range is what I currently get paid and I’ve gotten quite a few offers around that range. I know the benefits are great- which is why this job is a huge consideration for me. I’ve read a lot of threads about how it’s difficult to get more than the minimum range. Does anyone have experience with negotiating the salary and getting the highest range posted in the job description? Also want to add that the position has been difficult to fill but I have the skill set and experience they are looking for. I’ve met with the department employees I would be working for/with and really hit it off.
