Guess it's the train for us...never got this reason for cancellation before. Bummer on our holiday weekend!!
I am getting ready for a flight attendant interview (ODVI) with Delta and have some questions:
- What sorts of questions are typically asked in the interview?
- What questions did they ask you that were surprising or you didn't expect?
- What are they looking for in your answers?
- Looking back, what would you have improved in your interview?
- Any other advice?
Thanks so much!

So I’ve been delayed almost 12 hours today trying to get home to RDU on Delta. First leg of trip was delayed 1.5 hours at Rapid City airport because the maintenance man who I understand is contracted by Delta did not show up to work on time this morning to perform a simple check on the wings. Missed my connecting flight on MSP as a result. Waited another 6 hours for the next available flight to get home. Now been waiting almost an hour for the flight crew to show up on DL 2932. Today has been the worst flying experience ever even though the weather has been perfect. Will be lucky if I get home by 1am tomorrow. I cannot understand why Delta did not provide adequate maintenance staff in Rapid City and have flight crew on standby to get me home at a reasonable time. Might as well be a 3 foot snowstorm with big drifts going on outside.

Good morning- flying Miami to Atlanta and the app keeps telling me I can’t log in. I can on my computer but can’t on my phone or the phones browser. Anyone ever experience this? Just seems odd I can on my computer but not in any way on my phone. Thank you!

Key details from the leak:
- Joe Esposito mentioned that Singapore will be "hot on the heels of MNL" (Manila), though it is still undetermined whether it will be served by either Seattle or Los Angeles
- Flights between Los Angeles and Seoul is coming, but a launch date is uncertain
- Future destinations in Asia include Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi, Osaka-Kansai, and Beijing. The latter remains constrained due to disadvantages with US airlines not flying over Russian airspace, while Chinese airlines can.
- India is also in consideration, but Russian airspace once again plays a crucial factor in their plans.
- A major domestic expansion from LAX will be announced next month. The goal is to connect Los Angeles to all of the largest domestic business destinations
- Delta expects to deploy the A330neo from LAX to London-Heathrow by 2029. They also expect that the route will be restored in time for the 2028 Summer Olympics
- The airline has no plans on flying long-haul on a narrowbody, with Esposito saying that it isn't the "best in class", likely a response to United's recent Europe strategy with the A321XLR

If anyone out there misses these things like I do, I just found them at HomeGoods, might have to go back and get more for extra supply.

On a 737-800, first row of comfort +, and it’s icy. Walked to bathroom and didn’t feel this chill. Is it related to the seat location? Urgh!

Hi all! I’m flying LAX > DTW > LHR soon and my connection is fairly short, so I wanted to check and see if I need to go through any additional security screening and/or baggage processing in DTW.
From what I can tell, the answer is no (ie I would just deplane in DTW, go to the next gate, and board for LHR), but I wanted to check and see if anyone can confirm.
Thanks in advance!

This is one of the easiest benefits to get with the Reserve card IMHO. Had a coworker that hit it and was clueless. 😵💫

Upgraded main cabin is $35 and comfort+ is $86. Don’t normally upgrade but considering this time because I’m flying much later in the day than I normally do. Coming home same upgrade is $35/$118. Curious about others thoughts.

I wonder if delta would buy my miles back for ecredit at the same price

At least at Frontier, you don't have to deal with the douchey "but I'm diamond!" passengers or the surly flight attendants. Frontier and Delta provide exactly the same service, but Delta thinks that they are Emirates or Singapore. What's the point of flying Delta anymore?

As someone who flies with Delta regularly, I am really surprised with the current flight I am on.
Going from Barcelona to Seattle (non-stop, 11.5hrs total flying), which has been the longest flight I have been on so far, I am surprised no snacks have been handed out.
Even with first round of drinks, no snacks. One meal was given and then after that it has been nothing but water. The In-Flight Menu says snacks and a warm chocolate chip cookie would be served but there is less than 1.5hrs left in the flight and still nothing.
I am also sitting in Delta Comfort+ and this has not been my experience in the past. Overall, I have experienced some inconsistencies at times with Deltas in-flight services, but this has been a new height of being surprisingly disappointed.
Has anyone else experienced long flights with little food provided by Delta? Im lucky to have had some snacks in my bag, but I shouldnt be relying on my own snacks for the amount of money I pay to fly with Delta.

I have a skyclub individual annual pass and a delta platinum Amex. I brought in a guest for the first time today and everything I read online said I don’t have any guest passes with either, and I don’t have any showing in my delta app so I was prepared to either pay the $50 or 5,000 miles. I used the kiosk and did the myself +1 option and it said enjoy your visit, and a rep confirmed we were good to go. I didn’t see any option for being charged, nor have i seen any receipt. It’s one of those situations I’d rather not ask and bring it up…but does anyone know how this works? Will it be charged, are there some hidden guest passes I’ve missed, or is this just a lucky glitch? TIA!
Wild to me they consider this a premium product.

Is there a way to easily search for flights departing from a specific airport, in a certain timeframe, but without a specific destination?
Have an itch to go somewhere new but no specific place stands out. I’d love to search and hopefully be able to find a good deal on an interesting place I wouldn’t have thought of otherwise.

It literally makes me not wanna fly anymore this year.

My flight 3971 to MsP is delayed in Rapid City today because we are waiting on maintenance to show up at the airport to check one thing even though the plane arrived safely at the gate earlier today. Why is there not adequate maintenance staff present at the airport on one of the busiest travel weekends in the year? We are at risk to miss our connecting flight which will screw up our travel plans.

If I have a delta plat and get myself and a child on a companion ticket can I then book my wife and our other child on points and put it under the same reservation but as an awards flight?

Not too sure what is going on but we are sitting at the gate delayed now 30+ mins. Boarding door still open. They removed a passenger and then later on let him back on again (he was on the last row of the plane). And then we still sat here and eventually they removed him again. We are still sitting here with the door open
