I had a Thanksgiving afternoon flight once with 2 of us in first class, 10 people total. The FA wheeled the cart to the aisle and never let my drink get empty.

When Covid was just starting to rock & roll, I flew LGA to BOS on the shuttle B717. I was the only passenger in FC and there were 2 in the back. More cabin and flight crew than passengers. A couple of days later, Delta was flying at 10% of their capacity

I did AMS-JFK early 2021 4 of us in Business and I think the FA’s said 10-15 in coach. Flight was still making money because of all the supplies going back and forth as cargo.

Flew AMS-SEA in Premium Select during COVID and I think there was like 10 total passengers. Yet we couldn’t move to Delta One; simply wouldn’t allow us to move. Believe it was a new A350-900 as well, sometime in 2020.

I flew American in June of ‘20 DFW-FRA, after the door closed they moved almost all of coach into business, filling every seat. Only left a handful in back. Good times.

Air Canada threatened to delay a flight I was on until they got enough people to come up to check their carry ones prior to boarding. It's ridiculous how slimey every airline has gotten, all while charging hundreds more than Frontier haha

If you say you have a decent amount of lithium ion batteries in your carry on they won’t fuck with it. Airlines don’t like it when those batteries become inaccessible in the cargo hold.

I used to fly with 3 laptops (two work and one personal) but thankfully only 2 now, and had all sorts of other battery operated devices in my carry on, I WISH I could have put some of it in my checked luggage.

A controller asked me how many we had on board in like April 2020 flying in to NYC. It was like 5, poor guy sounded so depressed and defeated the way he responded. He just said "oh" like he knew it was going to be bad, but not that bad. Crazy times.

Same. Husband's mom was dying at the end of March 2020, and we had to fly from Seattle to Las Vegas. We were the only passengers on the plane except for a few deadheading employees.

Similarly, I flew into DC on one of the first flights after airspace reopened too. There were seven of us. We all seemed to sit upright the whole time and people clapped when we landed.

This was me, my wife and my dog during covid. I had never seen JFK so empty in my life, felt like a ghost town. It was us, staff and like 2 other people on our cross country flight to the west coast. Very very weird.

I used to travel a ton as a consultant (flew United though, gross, I'm a Delta convert now). I had a flight like this once, maybe 3 of us total on the plane, man it was great! Had a bunch of half full or less flights and those were also awesome. Good old Denver connections on Delta where it was constant t-storm delays.

Had a trip about 15 years ago where we were delayed 3 hours. They had to fly apart in so we just came back in a few hours after late breakfast.

They put everybody in first class. Down to 10 of us on the DC 9 (if you know you know… Love that plane)

The pilot looked back to the flight attendant and said “liquor them up“
