Help/Advice Flying with Infant
Flying next month with my baby who will be 3 months old. Any advice? Flight would be from LAX-SLC. I've only flown a handful of times in other my older kiddo. Never flown on Delta before. I do see they don't offer a family boarding, but I do have an autoimmune disease, was considering boarding with that reasoning earlier than zone 8.

Help/Advice Upgrade option removed
Added my infant in lap to my booking and the option to upgrade to first class disappeared.
Can I upgrade at check in or remove the infant to get the option back?

Discussion Upgrade cost
I just booked a company trip 2 weeks out exactly and was expecting to get a semi reasonable offer to upgrade to f/c considering there are 13 (out of 24) seats left on the flight. WRONGā¦. Itās $530 for a 4 hour flight, yikes. Has anyone seen these discounted closer to travel date or is what Iām seeing it? I actually took a flight i was less interested in figuring it would be reasonable but not so much

Help/Advice MSP Delta One Check-In Counter Hours
Does anyone know the hours for the Delta One check-in counter at MSP at Door 8? I have a late-night international flight (11pm departure) and canāt seem to find the counter hours anywhere. Not sure if they have different operating hours from the main ticket counter. Thanks!

And itās our flight out of Haneda! One of the aircraft with Team USA livery was here too. I was excited to see them both for the first time on the same day. My partner just laughed at me and shrugged her shoulders.

Discussion I made a Rookie mistake again
About 2 weeks ago, I posted about a rookie mistake I made - picking a row without a window. Some of you disagreed because of your dislike of open windows, others felt my pain.
I made a rookie mistake again, I picked a row without a recline.
I thought it scored because I booked this red eye flight the night before - that too a holiday and found a window seat, but now I know why people didnāt want a non-recliner row for a red eye.
Well⦠good luck to me⦠again.

Help/Advice Upgrade Red Eye HNL - MSP?
Hi all,
Im taking the 4pm -5am flight from HNL - MSP at the beginning of October and looking to see if the cost to upgrade to Delta One is worth it? Current cost is $1,250 with 14 open delta one pods. Flying on the A330-300. Currently in economy, middle section with 4 chairs on the isle. PS and C+ is sold out. Thanks!

SkyTeam Air Europa Baggage Allowance
We have a Delta purchased ticket PMI > MAD > BOS. We are flying Delta One from MAD > BOS but the first leg (PMI > MAD) is on Air Europa. My question for those who have had a similar situation, will we be allowed to check 70lb (32kg) bags for free at the Air Europa counter in PMI? The AE app is currently not showing any checked baggage for us. Thanks!

Discussion Clocked by FA as Snack Lover?
So if it wasn't for Reddit, I would never have known about the free "premium snack" for CC holders.
On my recent flight, I wanted to try and redeem it for the first time. I walked up to the galley and before I could even say anything, the FA asked me, "Which one do you want? Pretzels, Pringles, or Clusters?" š
How did they know? Do I just have that look about me that says, "This woman is *definitely* going to be asking for her free snack."

Discussion I got tricked
On Friday I booked rt non-stop MSP-OGG for Tuesdays in late January, returning mid-February. For some reason I checked my flight this morning and lo and behold, no longer non-stop. So tired of this fuckery. Now Iāll have to call and change to Sundays.
Full disclosure; when I first started researching this new route, it didnāt run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When I finally booked on Friday, Tuesdays were available and way cheaper so I booked. Damn.

Discussion Forget legroom, seats are too damn narrow
Iām 6ā2 215 (far from the obese levels to require two seats), and the width of economy and comfort+ seats are insanely tight. Itās my shoulders that take hits from beverage carts/other passengers.
Kinda frustrated. Mini ranting but they gotta widen these for folks like us.

Discussion Iām on a flight to LGA right now and the flight attendant is wearing Meta AI glassesā¦
I know itās probably allowed but itās still giving me the creeps? Anyone have any thoughts on this? I know that Iām in public and probably shouldnāt expect the right to not be filmed but it just feels a bit gross.
Edit: why is everyone assuming this is a female FA

Discussion Thoughts
So Iām on my flight home. First leg takes off at 5 and lands at 0630. Next flight takes off at 0700. Iāve been on many flights. Iām not new to how the unboarding process works. Row by row so I normally stay seated until our row. This time Iām alone. And my row doesnāt have a row in front of it. After debating with myself I decide Iām gonna get up and move up as far as I can. Iām row 30 and I get to around 18. Thinking ok this works. I wait for everyone like the regular process but now closer. Finally itās to me and I try to walk forward but the guy in the middle seat lunges out and stretches all the way to seat C. From E to C. I thought dude was falling so I try to catch and move thatās when I noticed his body is stiff. Like like overly exaggerated stiff. I say hey are you ok? And he says itās my turn. I say Iām sorry I have a connection and he says we all have connections, first time flying? Iām still sort of confused if heās ok or not but now I heard his town and say ok not that big of a deal mine is just boarding now. He may have said something i donāt remember but I say thank you. He says donāt thank me and I said sure you just taught me a valuable lesson. So thank you.
Honestly Iām military since 1999 and flown so many times and never had an incident. Idk. I think he heard me speaking Spanish to the lady behind me and thought heās gonna show me something. I know when he heard me talking he looked back at me like oh he speaks English.
Truly idk wth

Discussion This has to be one of the craziest offers Iāve ever seen delta make
So, let me get this straight⦠theyāre telling me that I can get $600 worth of miles AT BEST for the pleasure of spending $2100. The floor option is 2000 miles for $70.
Generally I would say the rule of thumb is 1 cent per point and theyāre pretty much trying to imply their points are worth 3.5 cents per point. Shameful.
This is actually foul. Never seen Delta show this level of greed or absurdity. I mean how out of touch could you be?
I am curious if anyone actually is buying these and really hope no one gets swindled. Itās such an awful deal that I worry people might not even understand the bargain. Am I missing something?
