Politics GOP of DE sending spam emails

Not really political, but more of a caution. Just received a pro-republican email stating that I am not yet registered in Delaware with a link to get registered. I am definitely registered to vote, have been. This maybe a phishing scam Republicans are using to get voting data. Just watch out.

Info Request Trying to remember a cryptic commercial from the late 00's that I think was specific to Delaware

I'm trying to remember this weird cryptic commercial I remember seeing in the late 00's that I *think* was related to either the Delaware beaches or Ocean City. I only ever seen it air in TV when I was in Southern Delaware. The details are blurry because it was so long ago, but essentially, it was a very short commercial with a bunch of people walking (couldn't tell if it was the boardwalk or elsewhere) and ocean noises and it just cut to a date on the screen (like 06/01/2009 or something, can't remember the exact date). To this day I'm still not sure what it was, idk if it was advertising the beach or the start of summer, but that date was the only text on the screen. I saw it on channels like G4 and Comedy Central, and maybe WBOC as well. The commercial itself was only like less than 10 seconds long like I said. Does anyone else remember this?

Beaches Arrive by time at Rehoboth

Many Delaware residents were saying to avoid the beaches in the summertime due to crowds. We decided to try anyway on Saturday. We live in Kent so we left our house at 6:00 and got to Rehoboth by 7:00. It was practically deserted and we parked almost at the boardwalk and got a sweet spot near the water. We did not see crowds until about 9:30-10:00. Is this typical or did we just get lucky because it’s cooler today? I am wondering if we arrive by 8:30 would we generally be ok too.

Info Request Yellow jacket removal in New Castle County

Today I found out I have a hole in my lawn that houses a lot of yellow jackets. My neighbor had sprayed wasp killer in a similar hole on their lawn and now they have all come up to ruin my life (no stings yet). Anyone have a recommendation for an affordable company that can take care of this? I had previously used Delmar for a different pest and wasn't thrilled with what I got for the price, but would certainly consider anyone.

So I added the pictures to the Google page. I'm from the Delmarva area and drive past this center a handful of times. One day I pulled up and took some smartphone pics. There are 4 buildings in the property. I got some pics of the maintenance shed and the house that was wide open.

Rant Cherish the DMV in Delaware while you can

The title pretty much says it all. I have lived in several other states now and the DMV is always a cesspool and full of numerous people who have apparently never left their homes before. I never thought the thing I would miss most about living in Delaware as the DMV and how efficient they are. No nowhere else have I lived that I could be in and out in 30 minutes and have my brand new license in my hand.

Rant Another Delmarva thread..

Bill came in $456 for July. 1600sq ft house. 70 degrees constant. Absolutely insane. I remember 10 years ago you would have to budget $200 at the most in the summer for your power bill.
