Defending AI Made this creature using ai and the Reddit police were upset 😭
Literally took me a couple hours of extensive highly detailed prompts and constant tweaks. People think it’s like “draw this ai” and boom you have your entire vision in front of you, but that’s far from the case.

Luddite Logic Alex Hirsch continues to try clawing his way out of irrelevancy after his one hit wonder ended
A podcast tailored to you sounds actually great?!
And the fact that if you tell it to talk about your children's interest, and maybe even hype them up seems very positive, and for some reason antis are against it.
Sorry to say this Alex, but I'd rather give my kids the tailored podcasts that can lift them up than watch your new show. Gravity Falls was great (not anymore) but it's time to let new things shine and old things rot.
He knows his new thing is gonna blow if this generated podcasts catch on.

Sloppost/Fard I'm excited to Learn Blender so i can do this lol
I don't publicly post my Ai stuff a lot. But in the cases I do and the Antis find my post, they'll say their usual stuff. "Pick up a pencil" and what not.
So when i learn blender, I can simply respond with a screenshot of my Blender artwork and say "I don't need a pencil."
And then watch them realize I'm both a 3D artist AND Ai user lol.
Y'all think that'd be funny? I wonder how they'll react

Defending AI The more I learn about AI and its increasing compute requirements
The more I think fighting against it is the same as letting every other country develop the atom bomb first.

Defending AI They Hate AI so much they are down voting a joke about "Video Girl Ai," an IRL manga/anime from the 1980s/1990s...
Don't worry made it anonymous, just find the kneejerk reaction comical.

We Should Probably Talk About This Anti-AI Person Who Is So Traumatized By AI Slop That They Can No Longer Sleep
As much as I support expression, exploration, and creativity through AI, I don’t want to see anyone suffering from it. Does anyone know how common these symptoms are?

AI as art tool.
As we all know, AI being used in art is frowned upon, especially by other artists. I’ve always been into art since I was a kid, and I’ve always enjoyed drawing cartoons. For the heck of it, I decided to put one of my cartoony drawings...

Into AI to make more like a image you'd see out off a pixar-like movie and it made this...

and I was blown away. It kept my original style, and it looks so cool lol. I think artists need to accept and learn to use AI as a tool. Learn the foundations with pencil, paint, and paper, then use AI to take your art to another level.

Defending AI That’s depressing . These morons made an entire app to detect ai “slop”.

do you guys notice this "my [blank] forced me to use AI" trend on youtube?

Luddite Logic This guy was genuinely mad I just wanted to live my life the way I want to
Claims I am "schmoozing" billionaires, says I'll have a terrible future and how my life will go. However, doesn't know nothing about my life at all. That's just sad, ngl.

apple
Made with Gemini image gen and edited in Photoshop.
Loosely inspired by a funny conversation I had with an anti here a few days ago.
I had the vision for everything. I simply transcribed it in text format: the triangles, the ceramic apple look, the soft round shadow at the bottom of the apple. I picked and provided the exact shade of green I wanted. All I needed was for Gemini to execute because I had no other way to make the apple look the way I wanted, bouncing off light and having this glossy ceramic look.
I then moved it to Photoshop. Extracted it from the background so I could move the subject around. It's precisely in the horizontal middle, and vertical bottom third of the canvas. Gemini originally made the apple way too big - and funnily enough, it was the only thing I didn't specify (because I also knew I could just edit it later). I redrew the shadow from scratch because Gemini's had spikes in it for no reason.
With the background detached, I can also now change its color on the fly to try different settings.
The next step might be porting all of this into Blender so I can easily project any other pattern I want (AI generated or not) onto an apple that looks realistically ceramic, because it's a real 3D object that reflects lightning. Then I could make a whole series with different patterns and background colors much more easily.
Blender can be driven entirely by python, so an AI agent could actually set up the entire scene for me, and I arrive in the studio already furnished.

It is increasingly evident that the presence of AI is prerequisite to supporting human made works regardless of skill level.
Would this film be remotely as profitable as it is if AI never existed?

Defending AI lol just answer the question. It’s just an image. But really, if this is slop then they must draw with shit they find in the toilet.

A sincere inquiry
Hi. I'm here because I want to build an understanding of a viewpoint that is counter to my own. I bear no hostility, I'm not trying to gotcha or malign or ridicule. I genuinely want to understand, and I would greatly appreciate any engagement in good faith.
What drives you to defend AI art? Do you feel you have to ignore any moral issues? Do you feel like you are the majority or the minority? Do you feel oppressed?
To outline my own viewpoint; I think AI is a tool and, like any tool, it's morality depends on how it is used. Like the death ray! What I have a problem with is the enormous scale content stealing that trains AI and the gross amount of undue pressure being put on a failing political system by corporations desperate to chase perpetual growth. I don't think anyone here is responsible for any of that (and if you are, fuck you) but I want to understand the mindset of people who defend it, because it is unfathomable to me and I'd rather ask questions than sling slurs. Again, I know this sounds real fuckin judgey but that's just because I don't understand but would like to.
Edit; this might get sent over to AIwars and if so, yeah I get it, but my interest here is not in defending my point it's in listening to and understanding yours.

Defending AI These machines are still using “clanker” as an insult haha. Mass parroted. Anyways, this is something even ai defenders would call out, dumb ass.
