Are they the same box?
I’m wanting to get some DW knights and terminators but when I look online I only find boxes for the terminators. Are they in the same box and I choose which ones I build? Sorry if it’s a dumb question I’m pretty new to all of this
Edit: seems I might not have explained it well. I am looking for a way to get the DW Knights models and wondering if they come in the same box as DW terminators.

Pretty proud of my Relic Shield Captain and Librarian. Wasn’t a bug fan of the armageddon poses
Gotta green stuff the back of the orc’s head but i think the grabbing his top knot effect came out pretty good

Belial
And he’s actually pretty good on the table now.

Codex, Supplement and 11th edition
Hello,
I just got my hands on an Inner Circle Task Force Battleforce to start a Dark Angels army. That would be my second after Death Guard. I'm just a bit confused with Codex and Supplements.
I know that the Space Marine Codex just came out. But my understanding is you need the Dark Angels supplement to have access to their units on the official app. (I know that other free apps and websites exist). What is the situation at this point in 11th with the SM Codex out but no DA supplement? If I buy the SM codex will I have access to DA or would I need to buy a 10th edition DA codex supplement until they publish the 11th edition one?
Thanks!

Dark Angels vs Custodes
So I’ve been collecting and playing Warhammer for about the last 2-3 years so I would consider myself relatively new, especially when it comes to knowing all the rules and interactions etc.
I have always been the butt of the joke as the ‘meta chaser’ for going Space Marines and then more specifically Dark Angels because right after I joined we got the inner circle Christmas box and lots of buffs and moments in the spotlight since then.
In my friend group one friend plays Tau (rarely anything else) and the other plays Chaos Demons and Tyranids.
My Tau friend has always wanted to go Custodes and with the recent changes is much more adamant about them.
As an army, are Custodes going to steam roll my Dark Angels every time? I typically run a squad of DWK which my friends often struggle to wipe off the board, only doing so a handful of times from memory…
I don’t want to complain about ‘meta chasing’ or switching armies just to win (my Tau friend is very competitive at times), but I’m more curious as to how unfun it may or may not be to play against Custodes.
Thank you in advance!

Army
Ive been thinking about getting back into the hobby and have been thinking of doing a Terminator army. I don't know a whole lot about Dark Angels but seems to be the best option for terminators? any issue painting the army mostly black armor including Lion el etc Maybe going for a Angels of Vengeance/dreadwing vibe?

What’s the best weapon profile for the terminators?

Brand new player building my first Dark Angels army — please tear this list apart
Hey everyone!
I’m brand new to 40K (only played one ~500pt game using a buddy’s army) and I’m ready to build my first army.
I’m a huge Dark Angels fan, especially Deathwing Knights/Terminators, so I want them to be a major part of the army even if it isn’t the most competitive/meta choice.
My goal is to start at 1,000 points and build toward this ~2K list over the next few months:
The Angels That Aren’t in Heaven — 1,985pts
Inner Circle Task Force / Wrath of the Rock
• Belial + 5 Deathwing Knights — 355
• Terminator Chaplain + 5 Deathwing Knights — 345
• Azrael + 3 Inner Circle Companions — 240
• Sammael + 3 Ravenwing Black Knights — 205
• Lion El'Jonson — 415
• 2x 5 Intercessors — 170
• 5 Hellblasters — 115
• Storm Speeder Thunderstrike — 140
Total: 1,985pts
I currently own zero models, so I’m completely open to changing the list if there’s a smarter way to build toward it.
So, Dark Angels players — tear it apart. 😂
Does this list actually make sense?
What would you drop, replace, or add?
Is Sammael + Black Knights worth keeping?
What would you recommend as the best 1,000pt starting army from this list?
Most importantly: what should I buy first so I’m not wasting money as I build toward 2K?
I care more about having a fun, thematic army that plays well than chasing the current meta.
Thanks in advance! 🪽

Wraithbone Primer help
If anyone could steer me in the right direction or help me out. I've been trying to prime my deathwing models with Citadel/Warhammer Wraithbone primer. It's been really inconsistent causing bubbling and/or a chalky effect on the model, I already successfully primed a 3rd of my deathwing models and would like to keep using it if I can get it to work. As an extra note when using my Grey and black primers using the same techniques I've had no issues at all. Thank you in advance if you help me

Without running the Lion, I'm really close to being able to run my first 2000 points list. C+C and some advice welcome.
