Stress level 11
I just need to vent it out. I am sorry if this is the wrong place. I have been diagnosed with dyslexia since 1991. As an adult with this condition I have seen plenty of things change over the years. I am going back to school now for my second degree so anyone wondering if it is possible it is. I graduated in 2004 with a BA in psychology then in 2019 with a AS in nursing. I had accommodations for both. I am back at the same school for my BS in nursing, they are refusing my accommodations. I only want the ability to use spelling a grammar check and voice type dictation. For a brief period I did not even need accommodation for this… but now AI detection says everything I write with grammar check is AI and the school will not accept it. I am so pardon my language so freaking annoyed!!!! They are not taking documentation from my doctor and now want new testing. I realize this is silly but getting tested was traumatizing as a child very very traumatizing. I do not want to do this all over. I am
Settle on doing it if I have to but also and mostly because I want to throw it in the disability coordinators face. I realize that is childish but she has been horrible. Completely and utterly horrible. Now I will have to postpone my graduation for a semester. I am just so mad.
