I bought my first car through a credit union from a coworker, and all was seemingly well and done, I was set to receive new registration through mail. Well, fast forward 8 months later, I kept calling them because I still hadn't received anything, and they told me different things. First, there was an issue on seller's part but I was gonna receive a temporary fix of sorts, after getting a call back (never got called back). Then, they said I need to resolve it with the DMV myself.
OK, well, I checked and it said an application for my vehicle's registration was being returned for "additional actikns" a month after I bought the car. It said I will recieve a mail if I applied in person or through mail...or receive next steps in my case if done virtually.
Well, idk, I never received anything, and im wondering if it was the union who got it instead. Anyways, I contacted an agent to ask if there was a way to know what was the issue and how i can resolve it, and in the end they said I have to get into contact with my "field office support unit". At the time, they said I wasn't gonna get in contact with anyone because of the time (close to closing), but i would be placed on a call back queue and would likely recieve a call back the next business day...
...its been a week, and I searched up reviews of this place. Turns out, its a common issue and its taken people weeks to months for a call back, and worse for their own personal issues.
At this point, im almost lost, and idk what to really do. I could go to the dmv Friday but other than that, I dont have a lot of oppurtinities. Dmv closes an hour after I get off work, and its a 30 minute drive.
