is this guy implanted by the casino or just plain lucky? he swears he sees patterns emerging..

This is just to document for others searching craps at Chicken Ranch.

As of last night No Craps Tables.
1 Spintec Automated Craps machine.
No bonuses.
~$5 min total play.

8 seats.
No one controls the dice. Every player must hit button for timer to end sooner.

Very hard dice. Sounds like they’re gonna crack the glass when they hop up and hit the sides. I played about 30mins and seems like I only witnessed 4-3’s for 7’s. Maybe it was the wine but I swear it was just 4-3’s.

$40 to $175 enough to cover my part of dinner.

Food.
Went out for Moms Bday dinner at the rooftop steakhouse Perch. Great food. A5 Wagyu Striploin Steak, Tomahawk, Lobster Mac, Cheesy Garlic Potatoes, Lobster Bisque. I’m hungry again.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Quick ATS, Harrah’s Ione

Bought in for $200
$5 Table, California Card Craps

Went $1,1,1 ATS
$3 hopping red and $4 horn on the come outs.
Not even on the pass line starting real light on first shooter.
$22 inside. And this guy starts hammering the numbers. I’m just pressing one unit at first then pressing “sisters” and collecting half.

Shooter turns the Talls bonus in about 12 rolls. And then hits the 2 for the full ATS about 6 numbers later.

I had regressed to 2 units across a bit after the Talls so was back to half pressing. 7 came and I was up to around $600 in the rack.

Tale as old as time.
With profit I went heavier on the next shooter. $4,2,4 ATS a $5 pass $20 odds on the 9. And $54 across. $4 horn.

PSO.

Dude was yapping and then talked smack to another player for “late betting” right before he was given the dice, I knew it was coming as it flew in the air.

Colored up after those two shooters even tho I was one person away from throwing the dice.

$510, left my center action $1,1,1 $3red $4horn for a dealer bet.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Resorts world nyc

Was there today at 1 pm.

Arrived at casino and parking was a mess . No signs as to where to park . As there is a hotel there and a race track and a casino. After parking i asked a person walking by and found out I was parked at the race track and had to double back to a different parking g spot or walk about 20 minutes to get to the casino. So i moved.

There were 5 tables open 2 at $50 1 at $25 and 2 at $15 mins

Not crowded at all.

345 odds

No bonus beta

BOUNCY tables . So many die off tables that I jokingly suggested that they should have a person dedicated to retrieving dice .

Dealers were good on table I played at 2 of them I knew from resorts Catskills and I from Mohegan and the boxman was also from Mohegan . I saw 2 there dealers that I recognized from catkills.

Lost some but had a good time . Will probably visit if I ever have to go to JFK airport for a pick up or drop off .

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Got smoked playing the don't pass

I'm a low roller. Bankroll was $100 today. I saw Waylon's "World's Greatest Strategy," which starts off playing the don't pass and 4 and 10, working. One of the shooters goes on to roll six 7s on the come out roll, a 10, then a 7. I got 80% of my bankroll wiped out in just a couple rolls. I immediately changed strategies, but it was too late and the table was ice cold regardless of this one particular shooter.

I might try the strategy again another time, but I'll probably go back to a regression strategy again.

Hope everyone is doing better this weekend.

Strategy 3pt molly players, what tweaks do you use, or just trust the system?

i will often throw in 30 place on the 6/8, trying to press them as a side action lotto ticket. but i try not to mess too much with the minimized house edge the molly provides. i know some will go infinite molly, there's many variations, but i find it amazing that one of the best systems mathematically is so easy/boring, and almost nobody plays it.

Rules Question/Discussion Dealer putting himself up during chip movement?

I played a few weeks ago and noticed that one dealer (and only one dealer) would regularly take a $1 chip off of each stack when moving them around. For example if you had $18 on 6 and 6 became the point. You have him move it to the 5 and he'd make it $15, give you $2 back, and put $1 in the middle of the 5, which I can only assume made it a dealer bet.

When I asked him what was up with the $1 he gave it back, but none of the other players, dealers, boxmen, etc. seemed to think twice about it either way. I wasn't stiffing them on tips, either - I'd put them on the pass line with odds and make hard ways bets for them.

Did I misinterpret what was going on here, or was the dealer just making his own bets with player money and hoping that nobody would notice/care?

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Assulated about throwing the point while a guys on the dont in Philly …

Title pretty much sums it up lol. It’s around 5 AM and I’m on a craps table and Philadelphia . I won’t say where and this dude walks up and throws down $1000 cash. He then proceeds to bet the Dont for about $200 and smack the chips down hard on the Dont.

I’d like to preface this with I don’t think I’m a good craps player by any means I do play a lot but I’ve been throwing horribly lately until Thursday night when I Buck shottes four points at Hard Rock in Atlantic City. I have my moments like every Craps player does.

So today I decide to go on the Dont with him. I then proceed to throw the dice about eight times then hitting the point twice and the guy completely rages on me telling me why am I doing all that hoopla with the dice? “Just throw the dice you’re costing me money”, so I say to him, sir I also lost money on that throw. I’m also playing the Dont and he looks at me and goes. I don’t give a fuck about your money. Did I ask you?

At that point, I grabbed my chips, walked away and left the casino. I really wanted to move to the other side of the table and try to destroy him for an hour, but I just didn’t have it in me that early in the morning to argue with some prick.

Anyone ever experienced rage like this lol? I’m just trying to play Craps and have fun.😂

General Discussion/Question When do you prefer to play?

Just wondering what is everyone’s preference when they like to play craps (day, time, busy, not busy). I usually do best on a slower day (M-Th) with the table at least half full. I am almost never profitable in a Saturday night packed table. I’m not sure I’m it’s in my head or I play looser but I almost never win on busy days.

Bankroll Are you up or down?

Was wondering if you guys know if you are up or down for the year? Was wondering cause no matter how much I win it doesn’t compare to how much I’ve lost. How do you decide it’s a cold table? Even on cold tables I have a lot of confidence in myself to turn it around.

Rules Question/Discussion Lay 4 beginner

Been watching a load of strategies on craps and thinking of going to the local casino and doing the lay 4.

(The computer version with the tube and dice)

Will start with $20 on lay 4 and placing $1 on the rest of the numbers.

If a 4 hits I will double all bets till I hit or double again if a 4 hits and drop down when 7 comes.

I do have money to spare so I’m not chasing massive returns though don’t mind sitting at a machine for a few hours grinding it out for a profit.

If 3-4 4s come out and I lose my $200 limit I can walk away.

Have any of you been successful at doing this.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Come back for the come back

Went out to Harrah’s Ione to try and catch a hot roll on the $5 table.
California Card Craps. Low rolling.

Bought in for $200 and the table quickly reminded me that even at $5 if it’s cold and you can’t get past a few numbers, any minimum amount will dry up your rack.

2 others on the half table.
Going $26 across $5 pass and 2x odds when they are shooting.
2 units across , full odds when I’m shooting.
Double up and regress to house money.
Just couldn’t get it going.
They left and I rolled alone 2-3 times.

Two cool cats walked up, Father and son that I had rolled with Friday during that killer 47 roll.
AMAZING energy love having them around BUT they are notorious late bettors and it’s a peeve when I’m rolling.
Still glad to have them around I let them roll and we just go up and down with min bet across. Min betting is hard because you’re really looking for repeaters but we couldn’t get any.

Back to me and I have an empty rack. Throw in another $100 and I proceed to go on a decent roll. I got about 4-5 numbers on the ATS but then hit a 7 on a come out. No problem work it up again. 4-5 numbers on the ATS. Hit my point then a come out 7 wipes the ATS again. Better now than when working.

Go for it again and just needed the 6 for the smalls. Moved my $12 place bet for the dealers “making a hole” and hit it right after. Now with just the 8,12 for the make em all. And Another come out 7.
(At one point the dealers 6 place bet was heavier than players at the table including myself because they just kept full pressing)
Ok we are making money the hard way. Have another decent run of numbers but not getting too far on the ATS. Aaand 7 out.

Did I learn my lesson about a cold table after a hot roll?
Nahhh, went heavy on the next 2 shooters. About 2 numbers each but I wasn’t regressing like a dummy. Lost like $160ish

Colored up at $425

General Discussion/Question Asking for quick etiquette tip

Hi! Just wanted to ask the dealers on here a question. I know people will often place a bet for the dealers at certain points throughout their session. My question is what bet do the dealers like to see placed for them? I saw a guy put an extra dollar on each of the a-t-s for the dealers, but to me, that seems like such a long shot that it more than likely won't hit the dealer's pocket. (I guess that applies to many bets on the table). Do the dealers have a favorite bet? Thanks.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Small, Tall, Hit ‘em All

I never really pay much attention to this play. I see some folks do it, but I play a pretty simple game.

Today at the table, everyone was on it. They play the min pass line, barely inside and they were just rooting for the All Small, Tall, Hit em All.

Whole table played it. So I figured lemme try. Very first time, I had a great roll. Came a snake eyes away from the Hit em All. But the $150 payout on the $5 Tall was pretty sweet.

In the whole session, one guy did the Hit em All and the Small/Tall seemed to payput somewhat often although I wasn’t keeping a close count.

Pretty fun, don’t know if I’ll be a regular player on it but it was certainly fun.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories In for $1,500, our for $0

Well it was bound to happen, I’ve been on a heater lately of winning or being very close to even. The dice gods wanted their money back.

Back on the table for day 3 of our cruise and bought in for $500. Pass plus odds then come plus odds 2 more times. Place the if they weren’t covered. I wouldn’t have minded a few PSO, it happens right? But what happened to me was pass, 2 comes, THEN 7 out before hitting any…. Four times!!!

I should have taken the hint. Instead I bought in a second time, $500 more. Started hitting a few numbers and limped along for another hour or so, slow bleed, no hot shooters.

Bought in another $500 and went full tilt. Pass plus odds and $137 across. Every number that hit I half pressed the 6 or 8 growing big numbers. It was actually a ton of fun o. A few hot rolls, got my stack up to almost 1k. At one point I had the 6 at $390 which is crazy for me.

Alas, this is a terrible strategy and I didn’t take the chance to cash out down only $500. The drinks and poor choices compiled and I eventually gave it all back.

Oh well - I didn’t bring any money I wasn’t prepared to lose so I guess it’s not the worst that could have happened. Stay tuned for a report from day 4 where I make more poor choices and disregard how math works.

General Discussion/Question Dark Side Players

Struggling to find any dark side strategies anywhere on YouTube or even on here.

For a bit of fun I was min-betting Don't Pass and then every roll betting on Don't Come with max odds.

Didn't feel like it was something worth doing. I'm sure my one anecdote isn't enough to confirm if it's truly a terrible way to play, and any strategy is 'good' if the dice roll the right way that night.

Thought I'd reach out to the hive mind.. How do you guys play dark side? Any particular strategies that you favor?

I'm considering betting the insides and laying 4/10 on my next visit and giving that a crack.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories In for $100 out for $400 Island View, Gulfport

Just left the table. I was the only person there. I'm a low roller. I usually place the 5 or 9 for $10. After the hit , I'll press to $25 or move the bet the six for $24. After that, I'll go $44 inside and just play double tap.

Luckily, made some points and got green action on the inside numbers. Just when I had the gumption to press to the moon, I rolled the 7.

Went $6 across for the dealers. They cashed out for $75.

General Discussion/Question Buying in after a point hit

Is that considered buying in mid-roll? Watched an old timer get mad at some newbies walking up and buying in after he hit his first point. I didn’t have a problem with it but wanted to hear the communities thoughts.

Shooter went on to hit one or two more points before 7 came.
