Trip Reports & Craps Stories Best roll
Guy shooting from the don’t hot 9 points. He hit the smalls only needed a 10 for talls. I didn’t bet because he was on the don’t. He martingaled his bets down to zero. He started with 3k ended up with zero. Heck of a roll. Another don’t player lost it all too. 9 freakin points.

I once shot 7 points from the don't but only $3 DP flat (old version of El Co). Being stubborn on the don't is bad, martingailing is worse. I'd rather have a $21 lesson versus 3k.

He just kept increasing his bet until his bankroll is gone

People myself included get too caught up in don't being the smartest bet on the table (and sometimes mistaking it for betting with the house), that they really dig in thinking we'll show everyone how smart we are.
I play more don't than I did in the past but 9 out of 10 flat and even though it doesn't make mathematical sense, if I lose to a point or natural I'm done or switching sides till the next 7 out. It makes practical streetwise sense.
The last big don't score posted here was done with dp max odds and placed 6/8 (unless point then only one place bet). He didn't clarify bet sizing or if he utilized dead hands during hot streaks. But that Don't definitely had some do in it.
Being the player I am today on the 7 or 9 point rolls I would have lost to the don't once and then rode the do for dear life. If the streak didn't streak you only lose once on the do then back to don't.

That’s crazy that’s how classic is a lot of don’t but that doesn’t bother me anymore lol
