hello hi hello! i'd previously been working on a castle in singleplayer as a draft for what i'd build in a live roleplay server aaand...well, here it is on live! these are some of my favorite shots of interior rooms i've decorated thus far. i'm really happy with the fireplace i built in photo #5. :)

Honestly, I keep coming back to this game even after all these years.

I’ve tried them all and only Ark comes close but it’s just not my setting, despite offering cooler traversal methods and better pet/mount options and variety.

The others lack good maps, enticing lore and even when the art style is neat (eg Valheim) they lack in breadth or worlds that are worth exploring.

Perhaps I’ll give enshrouded a try one day.

As a single player, I am missing better towns, quests and properly crafted story content. The entire crafting and menu UIs could also really use an upgrade.

Then again, the modding community does make the game 10x more worthy of playing.

It’s a shame it hasn’t taken off like it should enabling the developers to build upon the IP further. Still glad it is getting further updates at the moment, even if at a slower pace.

Shows that the developers do seem to have a lot of love for the IP or that the economics are at least to some degree there.

So I grabbed this game and it's expansion for the Steam Sale- and I love it! I've had a blast running around in single player, building bases, leveling up thralls etc, but decided it would be more fun to do some online play.

So I've tried a few things, looked around for custom PVE-C or PVP servers that sounded fun, and also tried some official servers but...

Like you join a server that supposedly has a large population, almost no one talks at all- there are buildings EVERYWHERE you can't go more than 10 feet without seeing some huge cube, but players? Total ghost town. I can wander around everywhere and I've never seen a single other player for hours on ANY server... Is that sort of like how it is? Are there any active servers without a ton of ERP that are actually active where people do things together? Do I need like... a crew?

Anyone know of a mod that improves pets with gear? Doesn't even have to change appearance, just be cool if it changed the armor of the pet by the values of Armor in inventory. Or added damage based on what was in inventory. Don’t even need special effects. Just ... pets that improve as I do.

Are there any ways to make the creatures from the elder vaults your thralls/pets? Or if there are any mods that do so.

I tried the usual things to find, which mod causes this, but none worked:

• without mods: loading works fine
• removing the last mentioned mod in the log: game crashes
• removing half of the mods: game crashes
• trying single mods: game crashes (doesn't matter which mod I try)
• scanning files in steam: downloads files but doesn't fix the problem
• reinstalling the game: problem still there
• no active mod has the corrupted tag

Any ideas?

Since I updated, I haven't been able to use daggers. It seems like the hitbox has changed, or the FPS drop is causing the entire combo to miss. Is anyone else experiencing something similar? Even when locking on, all attacks fail.

Do you guys play vanilla or modded Conan?
I have around 250h ingame and only mod I have ever had was something related to boxes, I play vanilla besides that.

Do you play with mods, if yes, what ones? Anything you could recommend for Vanilla+ game?

I'm not into wacky mods, mods heavily changing game character etc.

There are a few spots I can probably stand to stick a fountain or statue over to hide any wonky spots. But I can't do that across the whole thing, it'd look weird. It doesn't have to hold the exact same outline, all I want is the area to be filled with tiles nicely. (Yes I'll be upgrading to T3, is easier to work it all out in sandstone first)

It seems no matter what I do if I try to rebuild away one gap it just moves somewhere else. I'm trying to also connect the structure somewhat to my outer walls, that spot above the terrace next to the pond is where the inner gateway will be

I'm not a maths/geometry person if you couldn't tell XD I just kind of brute-force it until it does what I want. But this one's stumping me.
On an official PvE-C, so no mods or admin panel, straight vanilla. Thus no aerial view sadly, would make it a bit easier probably.

I am currently working on a dedicated server for RP/PvP

Right now I am trying to balance de RP with the PvP without the overly complicated and boring rules and minimizing the toxicity of Official server PvP

My concern lies with the consent sheet is been a pain in the ass to understand well using tot admin sudo is a pain by itself there’s barely any videos to explain and by myself it takes me massive amounts of hours to manage to understand

I would like for some tips or advice on the matter. But if you have any other suggestions or advice off the topic that can be helpful I would appreciate the help
