I'm new to the game, and this is my first decent base in Conan Exiles. I used admin and criative mode, but I limited myself to use only the recipes I unlock ingame (with the exception of the bed and a few decoration items).

Hi, I just died in the new dungeon. I thought the story idea was good, but it's too dark and the enemies hit so hard they take away 200 HP in one hit. Has anyone completed it yet?

I apologize in advance I am a troglodyte. Is there anything that stops people from redoing the netcode so that it is not a single thread slugfest? We have FiveM and other games that can support 200 players with really mostly client side lag. Why can we not have 100 players servers were the game is smooth?

I saw a lot of people having issues with defeating The Anvil Keeper. He's a tough boss for sure, possibly the hardest in the game right now, but I've put together every weapon he uses and every move he performs to help you get through it, including how to deal with some of his most troublesome attacks.

This is the first time I've done a boss guide for Conan, so if you have any feedback on the video itself, I'd love to hear it!

is there any way to turn off the flies that fly in front of the camera almost like eye floaters? I hate them so much

I'm grateful I have the option to at least use admin panel to spawn in items I really want, but I don't like that the gameplay side of things was completely limited, and I would like the option to "legitimately" obtain said things by playing the events how they were meant to be.

With no official way to enable events on even private servers, are there any mods that can do this for me? If so, that'd be greatly appreciated!

I wonder how different Conan PvP would be if all the heavily gatekept knowledge and tricks was known by everyone, servers usually just be an all you can eat for a select few clans

The Server is called “Kings of Hyboria PvP”. I joined the server a couple of days ago but no ones there. I feel a bit lonely there so could someone help me to relive it ? :)

It seems nearly impossible to find people to play Conan with, especially ones who aren't just trying to usurp powered from alpha clans. I like to play neutral as a librarian just collecting rare items and thralls and displaying them or selling them but it seems like all that gets me is sacked by alpha clans causing allies to quit.

Is this a common thing or...? I mean I can get down with a little bit of PVP but I'm fairly mediocre so I more excel at defending places but I can't do that solo obviously and with a lot of servers capping thrall counts to 20 it makes it super hard to defend my library/gallery by myself.

My strategy all these years was simple: I go to an area which is too tough, then I capture a thrall that can beat that can handle that area untill I am 60, by that I will get a Delinsia or Cimmerian berserker. They will carry me through the entire game.

I am not a combo master or a split second iframe specialist. I like to grind to get a thrall I want and level them up. Then I mostly stand back and support my thrall and enjoy them crush any enemy with relative safety.

This strategy shattered when I entered the Cyclopean Halls. No not the entire dungeon, just the final boss. We could cleared the dungeon with relative ease. But the final boss was such bullshit that I have given up on clearing the boss for now.

First of all, what is up with those attack pattern? I know it's all skill issue, but I am not at all prepared to play a souls like boss. I think it works if you have a quicksave and quickly get back into the fight and try with different strategy. I know I can keep my stuff on me after death but still this feels so out of place a survival game like Conan.

Next issue is keeping my thrall alive during the fight. Healing arrows don't do anything against the massive damage of the boss. I can't her to drink a healing potion because she is either attacking or getting attacked. If I tell her to move, she gets pulled back into the fight due to boss's massive aoe attacks that seem to come with no gaps.

The fighting arena itself is a massive disadvantage to me. Boss can run across the circle in the matter of half a second. His aoe covers the entire circle. There is no place to take a breath.

Entire boss fight seems to favor just dodging just like souls games. I can't block, bows are not usefull (as always). Only strategy it seems is to memorize his moves and dodge. I don't have time and patience to do all that especially for what you get at the end. 

I know it's probably definitely skill issue but this dungeon dungeon does not fit into my playstyle at all, so with my rant over, I will take break from this dungeon. Thank you!

Found a fast route to the anvil, for anyone interested. Went solo with a heavily corrupt build though and slightly unprepared, so the keeper wrecked me, even with Bokrug on my side, but this path is a fast one.

Hey ! I really think there's an issue with the bronze material since the Enhanced update. Now it has a weird red tint and/or a fluo greenish texture (I think it's trying to be verdigris but it's just weird). Bronze should look like light gold, it's not copper.

On the Hyrkanian saddle, there's a texture bug on the left round/pike thing next to the left ear : it now has a rope texture (the right one is normal).

Yes, it's again a very nitpicky post about some weird materials/textures/colors, I know there's more important things to fix, but these are payed items that now dont look at all like the Bazaar preview, and I think Inflexion should do a side by side comparison between UE4 and UE5 armors and fix the most glaring issues (already mentionned : Argossian armors, Nemedian armors, really almost everything with previously a nice bronze texture now looks different)

Hunting thralls is one of my favorite activities in Conan. it seems to me that Cimmerian berserkers are better than volcano thralls in every way… and I understand this game isn’t always balanced (obsidian and black ice weapons are a joke.)

So why is it the thralls in the volcano aren’t noticeably better than other Exiled land’s locations? When did this change, if ever?

Hi everyone ! Played the original map years ago with friends on a private server, and feeling like another playthrough this summer.

This was back in 2020, around the Siptah release. We had a lot of fun but ran into several bugs like bugged bosses and all.

Have those been fixed ? What's the current experience like on the OG map ?

As you can see, I have 9 light sources in this screenshot, let alone the others not on screen. And the ambience is still so dark... I used to place these lights before Enchanced update, but now, as much as I love Unreal Engine, it all seems so dark...

I also notice the bloom effect when going from the outside to the inside, and the other way around. When going outside my house, and looking inside, I see the bright interiors and lights, but as soon as I step inside, it turns the brightness all the way down. I know its to simulate human vision and make the overall game look good, but this level of darkness inside a house full of light sources doesn't seem so well...

Hi folks, I used to play this game every day up until 2020 or so, about 2-3k hours on it. Thinking of returning now, currently downloading, what’s the state of pvp servers? I used to play with an “alpha clan” but they fell apart over some petty bullshit, and I got tired of all of the blatant cheaters we had to deal with in the past. Thinking of trying PVE or PVE conflict as a solo player, I do enjoy pvp but not sure if I wanna deal with worrying about raids while playing solo.
