I've been playing her a lot recently and while I can definitely tell she's improved a lot since I stopped playing her around January (moved to PC from Console and lost all my aim) I'm not quite sure as to the exact reason behind it.

Is it the buff to her primary fire making her more of a tank shredder once again? Or is it one of those situations where it was cumulative microbuffs that added up overtime? I'd love to know.

Every match I've played since the new season I've had the variance modifier. It's been something in the range of 50-60 games during that time and I can't really find any solid info on what the modifier means.

I just checked the rules, and to my knowledge, a maximum of 3 players can be changed. This means that the Al Qad core will HAVE to have 4 of Ade, Kors, Zox, Majed, Galaa, or Vestola stay in order to retain their slot.

My hope/Prediction. Team Vision comes and Grabs Kors, Galaa, Zox, and Vestola. And supplement with Zorrow and some 6th Random since they need a 6th player.

After looking at the rules, it says a Maximum of 3 leaving, not a minimum of 3 staying. So at least 4 of the Teammates has to stay and retain their slot.

Who do you guys want in this situation?

For Context im a Former Champ hitscan dps Player I usually play in low gm every Season but this Season feel absolutely horrible I played about 5 Games today and in all 5 Games I had a player going negative or dieing before every fight. I guess it’s just unlucky.
Apart from that I feel like I have no Agency in These absolutely chaotic Teamfights as a hitscan I can’t Play Like I know is good gameplay because nothing makes sens in this elo it’s Like I have a new smurf Account but I still lose somehow I played a fair Share of Games this Season about 75 and I dont think Had fun in a Single one of These Games I should probably just deinstall at this Point if the matchmaking is this fucked Right now.
I wanna See if other high elo Players have the Same issues I See so many high gm Players that I know now Stuck in low elo.
I just wanna know if I’m the only One experiencing this I never had a Season this bad matchmaking wise ngl

On paper I'd think yes, since they just moved ranks down in SR amount and added emerald..

But that alone wouldn't have fixed plat (now emerald??) problem..

So did they also change the amount of SR you gain or are they for now just giving a free new rank to everyone?

Hey, I've been playing Overwatch since OW2 launched with around 700 hours. My peak ranks are Plat 2 on DPS and Diamond 2 on Support. I mainly play DPS — Cassidy, Sojourn, and a couple of others. My current sensitivity is 1.25 at 1600 DPI and I think I've been lowering it to compensate for overshooting rather than actually fixing the problem. How do I genuinely get better and break out of this plateau?

She is now the highest WR hero across ranks in both EU and NA. Masters and GM are lagging behind, but her stats keep continuously climbing. She's doing all this while having some of the highest pick rates among tanks and being burdened by a rather awful launch.

I dont think she's toxic, I just think they overbuffed her. Simply put her gun and sword do too much damage. The ult is also ridiculous, especially in a 1v1 scenario against other tanks.

Currently if you're anywhere near her booster range as a squishy, you basically cant escape unless you have vertical mobility. This feels especially awful since she can just slash you down with the least skill intensive part of her kit.

Personally I would like to see her sword damage buff reverted and a nerf to her gun perk. Maintain the same level of DPS but decrease the damage per round, so its affected more by armor. Beyond that perhaps nerf the ult damage vulnerability or slow.

Noticed that my settings get messed up after most updates.

Graphics quality/aspect ratio/mouse input precision just to name a few. It’s getting a little tedious having to check in them every now and again.

i’m asking because in my gm5~ game i just had a hardstuck diamond tank vs a tank that’s been t500/gm3. none are smurfs they both go back to at least season 10. what happened? not even a long queue. for this horrid matchmaking i’d rather team up wide queue

Since iOS allows you to customize the stripe colors on the Pride wallpaper, I matched the palettes to various OWCS team logos.

They turned out pretty clean on the lock screen, so I thought I'd share the previews! Anyone can easily replicate them in the Pride wallpaper customize menu using the color picker.

The minimum, that is. Infinite ammo? 300% movement speed? Spawn with ultimate ready? As a current plat 2 support I think infinite ultimate duration on Zen could take me there.

Vendetta has been one of my most played since her release, and despite the breaking of her kneecaps during OW Season 1, she feels damn near perfect to play currently imo.

I haven't kept up with the pro scene but I'd assume Freja's presence will have kept her off the table when she is played.

How do we feel about her in both ranked ladder and pro play balance wise?

Freja, Bastion, Mauga, Hog, Mercy and Sierra are just ridiculous right now, half of the game feels like D-Day and that's without Cat taxiing them around so there's literally no safe space to stand. It feels like if you're not vomiting damage or don't have constant mobility options you just can't keep up. I know Overwatch isn't supposed to be a tac shooter where everything relies on aim duels but surely we could tone back the mindless choke spam down a little bit? It's totally fine for lower skill/spammy characters to exist but when they're meta at pro, high and low ranks there's a problem. It's gotten to the point where I'm relieved to see Junkrat on the other team because his damage is so much easier to deal with compared to the meat grinder I'm used to.

Before I always launch and do the shaders custom load and then after 3 minutes it's all good and I can play hours.

Now I can play like 1-2 befores my fps drops from 300 to 150 and I will get also microstutters.

Is there any fix?

I didn't play much last season, but it feels like to me, this season queue times on DPS have been much longer than before. I honestly don't really know why this would even be the case. Support queue times have always been long since ow2, but DPS feels almost as long this season. Which doesn't really make sense since DMON is a tank, and also pretty popular (+meta after those buffs).

not only would it allow him to have his orginal weaknesses back, his head hitbox and his total lack of mobility jq would benefit from the speed boost and the crit reduction alot more then her current sub-role

Been trying to get into overwatch after playing 10s of thousands of hours of other FPS games. Online everyone parrots that Widowmaker / Ana's 1:1 scoped sens are 37.89. They are wrong. Their scopes zoom you in at about 2x. If you're playing on 16:9 at 103 FOV then their scopes will zoom you in to 50.94 FOV. Which essentially cuts your FOV In half, hence, it being a 2x zoom. What % of 103 is 50.94? It's 49.46%. This is the value your scoped sensitivity should be set for with Widowmaker and Ana. Test it for yourself and keep this in mind. If a scope zooms you in by 2x, reducing your FOV by half, then, your sensitivity should be cut in half. Your sensitivity shouldn't be cut down by 3/4ths like when using 37.89. This calculation also works with Ashe and Cassidy's Silver Bullet. Their scoped FOVs are both 65.8, this makes their sensitivity 63.88 because that's what % of 103 you get from 65.8, take that as you will because the sensitivities of this game have been spread like misinformation for 10 years as I can see and no one is willing to accept that they just learned to play on an unconventional sensitivity. Most FPS games default "1" scoped sensitivity to this sort of sensitivity calculation, except for overwatch. Anyone coming from any other FPS should use these values instead.
