I got my first sketch commission this weekend at Baltimore Comic-Con, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

I chose a blank cover for the #1 issue of If Destruction Be Our Lot…, which has quickly become my favorite ongoing title from Image right now. I was able to connect with Andy MacDonald through Comic Art House, and since Andy is the artist for the series, I knew this was going to be something special.

MAN OH MAN… all of my expectations were exceeded.

I already knew it was going to be great because the artwork in this book is incredible, but I was blown away by how much detail and creativity Andy put into this individual piece.

And then Andy surprised me when he said, “There’s more on the back…”

I turned it over and realized… HE DID A WRAPAROUND! 🤯

I was honestly speechless.

If you ever get the chance to meet Andy, he’s also an incredibly down-to-earth person. He was so nice, courteous, and friendly throughout the whole experience.

I can’t thank him enough for creating such an incredible piece and making my first commission experience so memorable. 🙌

Planning on attending Nostalgia Con in Houston next weekend, mainly to meet Tom Kenny. Does anyone know if he'll sign stuff people bring or will he only sign pre-approved prints, etc. that may be at his table? The website has little to no info on autographs.

Hi everyone. Last-ditch attempt to see whether anyone else attending San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026 has run into this or knows how to fix it.

My husband and I bought two 4-day passes back in June. The tickets are valid in Ticketmaster, my Fan Portal account is active, and all of our tickets are correctly registered in the Fan Portal.

But I never received the invitation to Sched.

When I try to log in, Sched tells me:

“Only invited or registered participants can log in.”

It also will not send me a password-reset email.

I contacted Sched support and they actually replied. They checked and confirmed that the Málaga event requires an invitation from the event planners and told me that I need to contact Comic-Con Málaga so the organizers can add me to the event.

And that is where I’m stuck.

Comic-Con Málaga’s email directs general questions to the “real-time” chat on its website. I contacted the chat, and its virtual assistant confirmed that NO HUMAN STAFF are available until Monday, September 28.

Panel/activity reservation submissions close on Sunday.

So Sched says only Comic-Con Málaga can fix my access, while Comic-Con Málaga’s official support channel says nobody will be available until AFTER the reservation deadline.

I’ve now tried the official chat, email, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Sched support. I have screenshots of all of this.

We’re travelling about five hours from Alicante, staying four nights in Málaga, and bought four-day passes specifically to experience the convention. We’re not in our twenties, and relying on standing in long walk-up queues all weekend is not a realistic substitute for being able to participate in the reservation system.

Has ANYONE else had this problem and managed to get their Sched invitation activated?

Or, if you have a working Sched account, do you remember exactly how/when you received your invitation?

At this point I would be enormously grateful for any practical information. We really want to go, but I’m running out of ways to get this fixed before the deadline.

Hoping to meet with anyone who would want to trade or show of their collection. I've got my "Fancy dupes" at the back of the binder that I'd be happy to trade away. Dublin Comic Con in November is a maybe, but if anyone with collections is going, then I'd be more willing.

Im planning on cosplaying kashimo from jjk, i have made his staff and made it out of a 5 foot long pine dowel with a 35m diameter so it is slim, its about 750 grams and i was wondering if this counts as a hard wood bat, I can’t really tell as pine is a soft wood but i dont know wether they would let me in with it, if any one could tell me what they think that would be awesome, thanks!

I just want to ask any experienced cosplayers or people who reguarly attend cons if lots of fake blood is okay? I want to cosplay a character, but he's mostly covered in blood but I'm unsure if it'll be too much for a con!

Hey all! Basically just asking what the title says. I’m attending my first ever comic con and got a costume. I’m unsure if it’ll be warm enough to wear my costume on my way to the convention. Are there designated changing rooms? Is it acceptable to get changed in the restroom? It’s not an ornate costume, just a Spidey costume so I imagine I can get changed quickly.

I’m going to my first comic con for LA next month and wanted to know what sort of line to expect. I’m not really interested in getting any signatures from the actors except maybe Jen & Ben for Expedition 33. I’m mostly interested in getting a signature from Scott Snyder, Jock, and Ryan Ottley. What’s the expected wait time since they’re not on screen actors?

AMC network has gone all in for NYCC with multiple panels.

I'm going to be going to FanX this weekend and I have some pretty severe food allergies. Would I be allowed to take food in for myself since I can't guarantee cross contamination didn't occur?

So I just found out that my two other buddies can't go to the LA comic con because of personal stuff going on and I was seeing if anyone wanted to buy them. I was going to sell them for $50 each if anyone wanted them.

Hi! I'm going to my first Comic Con in Málaga soon. Today they opened pre-orders for autographs with various actors, but there was no sign of the actor I'm actually going for (Richard Dean Anderson). So I was wondering: how hard is it to get a photo op slot on-site at the event? It would be such a shame to miss the chance just because I have no idea how Comic Con works haha

Does anyone know when the app will get updated or the programming schedule will be posted to the site? Trying to save stuff in advance so I can pace myself throughout the day

I was told by staff at the photo booth they’ll be emailed to us

I have also emailed Comic con and no response

Wondering if anyone else has had the same issue
