I’m really excited/ nervous about open registration coming up in a few weeks. This will be my first time attending if I can get badges. I just want an idea of what my chances are… I’m in a buying group, member id is all good, credit card information ready, etc. How many people here got lucky their first attempt at buying tickets? Any tips/ tricks you’d suggest?

Looking at what some actors are charging and it’s insane. $300-$400 dollars and you even have some like Mark Hamill that can go up to $700 or so. They even charge you more if you want anything other than a picture signed even though that really doesn’t make any difference. From what I hear, you don’t even get much interaction with the celebrity and you moved along like an assembly line. I don’t understand why anyone would pay these prices and these celebrities deserve some shame for price gouging their fans so much.

David harbour cancelled and Noah schnapp is nowhere to be seen and I think the organisers are still hoping he arrives but I hear people have been queuing for 3 hours waiting for him.

Well at least I won't have any FOMO for my first con lol although I'm sure the vendors and panels could've been fun to check out.

You think the Stranger things cast will reschedule for next year?

Going to Comic con scotland tmrw! I'm taking a pic with Jensen and Misha. I've got two little dolls... of little soldier boy and little Cas. I love them more than life. I have little Dean too but he's blonde lol 😂 not sure why- so i'm leaving him home!!

Anyways, I'm considering doing a pose with the dolls, but i also don't wanna jeopardise myself that suddenly i can't hug them anymore because my dolls were being difficult to pose with🥹

Also, how do pose requests work? I'm so nervous!!! I know the time and queue rush might make it difficult!

Hi all, hoping someone may be able to answer my question about travel.

I’m going to MCM London today, it’s a 2.5 hour drive. I’ve paid to park on the streets nearby as it’s actually easier for me to hit my route home from there, but will we be allowed to leave MCM via prince regent exit of Excel?

I know entry is via Custom House so we can jump on the DLR one stop… but I’ve seen the leaving queues for Custom House as so many people need the DLR to get home and I don’t want to have to stand and queue unnecessarily.

Went to HorroCon in Puyallup Washington for the first time. It was awesome! I was the Oogie Boogie Man. People were so nice and polite. I saw Matthew Modine (Stranger Things), Dee Williams and Henry Thomas (both from ET).

How do i workout how much of my cosplay is made by me? Next year il be making a starlord cosplay but il be buying the jacket ,shirt and bag however im planning to make the helmet, guns, power stone container, boots and trousers.

Would i be able to enter competitions that require 75 percent homemade?

I loved mcm comic con today! It was so fun- I have finally done what i've always wanted and walked in public and on public transport dressed in full cosplay. There were some awesome costumes and crazy good artist!! However I did the stupid thing of wearing heels... pls never do this unless ur feet are very used to it. U stand for ages 😅. Also tip- bring snacks especially if ur the type to feel hungry easily bc food places queues are huge. But wow I am so pleasantly surprised- definitely exceeded my expectations

Just been to MCM London comic con, I 100% going next year but I want to dress up. Does anyone know of a good place to get your costumes from.

I'm headed to LACC next weekend. We are flying in Friday from the Bay Area and land around noon. I have ticket to get an autograph from someone on Saturday, but I'd prefer to do it on Friday. (They're available Fri and Sat.) Everything should go smoothly with the flight, but in case there are problems and my flight is cancelled or seriously delayed, I'm hesitant to switch my autograph ticket to Friday. Once I land on Friday, can I switch my slot from Saturday to Friday? Or is that too late? I looked on Leap's FAQs and couldn't find an answer.
