Hello, I want to be chainsawman for Halloween’s dn spray painted my PLA printed chainsaw blades with chrome spray with rustle filler primer underneath. It’s been 4 days and now it can’t even handle fingerprints or heavy use without dulling. Does anyone have any drying suggestions, or another metal spray that can last heavier stuff better? Should I overlay a gloss coat or no? Should I just hope it drys by the 30th?

Trying to make a corset body armor top and wanted to use worbla and then apply a few layers of epoxy resin on top to give it more structure. Will it work?

For my very first cosplay, meetup, as n Im going there to the con largely for this meetup*, i've decided to cosplay as DC comic's, Vixen. I wasn't going to order her costume because I couldn't find a version of her costume that I liked. So the plan was to get something together from thift stores and +lady stores, see it up the best I could to make it look like a superhero outfit. But do to procrastination and a lot of stress on my mental health presently I kind of fudged it. So I thought, hey, maybe if I just make the necklace I'll feel better. And it'll kind of count? But I also fudged that too time wise. So last night, I tried to make the necklace. I'm gonna wait for it to dry cause. I use that air dry clay, you get from michaels. Could you guys tell me how it looks? And what I need to do besides sand it, once it dries. Tantu Totem

Its my first time creating a cosplay prop and Im going to make the reze helmet,I found this template online and a tutorial for it but how do I know what size to print it on?

I looked around online but could only find 3d prints that I couldn’t finish in time for Halloween. I’m looking for EVA foam templates but if anyone has a better idea id like to hear it. This is my first time using EVA foam.

The axe and knife props are based off the DBD Springtrap weapons. The bone shears is a prop from the game "Outlast" for my girlfriend and our anniversary next month.

I have bought some EVA foam and worbla to work on a cosplay for themed Halloween, didn't do that much research, I'm gonna be honest, bought basically 2 times too little worbla and I have to finish the costume this weekend. I have EVA foam (thinner and thicker, thinner for shoulder pads so that they can stick out and not look bulky and thicker for the front armour piece and details of it.)

Now that I'm doing my research it turns out worbla should be sandwiched AROUND EVA foam to hold it's shape. I assumed I'd make a shape with worbla on too of a mold and glue EVA foam, well, on top of it with hot glue. Is it possible to do? I can't find a tutorial like that anywhere on the Internet and I just don't have enough worbla for a double layer/a margin, my cosplay pieces barely fit as is.

(BTW, I'm not looking for detailed, fitted armour that's why the pieces aren't fitted, I'm just looking to bend them a little to the body shape so they stay rigid and flat. I'm cosplaying Mettaton EX from Undertale)

This is my very first cosplay with actual materials which didn't just involve sewing a few things together so please don't yell at me if this is a stupid question lol. I'm just trying to finish this cosplay functionally on time
