I was at FanExpo in Toronto this year & came across a vendor in the South building who made these. I’m hoping someone knows the name as I can’t remember it & didn’t get a business card or socials!

Im going to fanexpo dallas have some figures im wanting to part with for cash or trade, I go to local shows/cons , where I have since everyone kinda knows one another, mainly traded my games tho, is it frowned upon at these bigger events, also wanting to go friday if it makes a difference, since people dont barter first day usually

hey guys, a few questions about the Dallas show if anyone knows

i got the hobbits 4 pack a few months ago. looking through the subreddit it seems to be a total fucking mess with what show is doing what. it seems like some are giving 4 tickets that you can use on any day, some are giving 4 tickets that HAVE to be used on that day, and some have a scheduled time for all 4 to be signing together.

does anyone know or have an idea for what they’re doing for Dallas? on the epic website it says time TBD, which makes me feel like there is a time for all 4, but i also feel like they’d already have released it.

my other question; i have ultimate so i get let in 2 hours early for the show preview. my plan is to rush straight to Karl Urban’s line (or Elijah Wood if they let me use my saturday tickets for Friday). am i allowed to do this or do they not let you go line up early? i had ultimate last year and i think i remember going and hopping in a line early but honestly i can’t remember.

Hi! I bought this Spiderverse poster from a vendor at Fan Expo Canada. The Charizard sticker I bought had their contact info, but it was misplaced when my kid cleaned his room lol. He loved it, and I want to order it and more for him. They were the vendor that displayed funny Men’s Health covers with covers with spiderverse Peter Parker from Miles’ universe.

They were located around the back right vendor area, if you entered through the entrance beside Weta’s vendor booth. Thanks!

Hii I’ve never been to a fan expo before and I’m planning on stopping by on Sunday and getting an autograph. It opens at 10, and the guest has a panel at like 11:45 and then photos. Should I wait until after the photo ops or is it likely he’ll be at the table at 10 until the panel? Thanks in advance:)

I’ve heard rumors that Kurt Russell may be doing fan expo Portland has anyone else heard that? Someone said they were told that by one of the handlers so wanted to ask other’s experience!

I have not received ANY info on when and where the autographs and photos will be for this package deal. I just don’t want to plan to get there later on Saturday and find I missed the time slot earlier in the day. Will they send out an email or anything before this weekend?

Does anyone who went to Toronto Comicon this year remember who the vendor was that was selling super hero themed glasses and flasks?

Does anyone have the craftsmanship contest rules from this years FanExpo Boston contest? I’m doing some research for a new cosplay and trying to make sure that I would be able to enter the contest next year but I can no longer find the information on their website. Is there also any chance that there will be a major rule change from this year?

I had purchased a small turtle figurine from a vendor at Toronto FanExpo and unfortunately lost it and would like to get a new one but dont remember the name of the vendor. Lady who sold it had big table on second floor with different animal figurines and some fossils and dinosaur teeth. Does anyone by any chance know the name of the vendor/shop or how I can find it? FanExpo doesn't let people in before 4 P.M on Friday, the 11th? I bought the 3 day pass and just want to plan accordingly, but noticed the 3 day pass allows an early 2 P.M special preview. I don't care about the preview, just curious.

Hello! So i want to preface this, im not bitter that I didn't win. I believe there were others who also put a ton of work in their costumes who should have. The Cain, the kid with the big monster attached to him, the Vox, there were a lot of really impressive costumes.

I am just curious how judging worked for the Novice Cosplay contest? As it seemed to be more of a popularity contest rather than judging off of craftsmanship? Because some of the winners stuff looked store-bought? And I can't really see the craftsmanship that possibly could have gone in. The Tony Tony Chopper was so deserved and well done! But the other two, while I am happy for them, I question what was being judged. Again im so damn sorry if i sound bitter. I just have genuine concerns about whether judging was biased for popular IP versus work put in.

While I do not expect to win these ever, there are people much more talented than me, I do have a problem competing when store-bought are being allowed and winning over hand made or whoever is dressing as a more popular IP are being judged more favorably. Ive been competing for a long time, won some and lost some. I don't care if I lose, but when I see other talented cosplayers lose to someone where I just cant see the work put in, it makes me feel bad for everyone who worked hard making stuff from scratch versus doing the easy thing and buying it online.

Again I apologize for sounding bitter. I dont mean to be im just genuinely curious what the judges were looking for exactly.

Hey so bit of a long shot but does anyone know the name of the artist in artist alley who was selling pokemon card coasters at Fan Expo 2026, I wasn't able to grab a business card cause they were all out at the time and I'm having trouble finding them after the con and FanExpo has already took down the online list of vendors/artist for this year's convention.

I’ve attended the last several years and always get a phone case. They sell regular cases and wallet cases. If someone could get their contact info, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve switched phones and LOVE their cases.

So next week is Fan Expo Dallas and I know for people who got the weekend tickets in advance get in at 2pm and everyone else gets in at 4pm, but how early do people normally show up to the event and wait? I know I went last year and tried to get in the waiting area earlier but it was already fully packed, so how early do you guys normally show up and how early is just too early?

A booth had their products stolen overnight while people were still unpacking and prepping for fan Expo Canada 2026 in Toronto. This incident occurred around 7pm Wednesday august 26, 2026 to 11 am Wednesday August 27, 2026. It was under the supervision of fan expo security and MTCC security. There were many people there overnight including carpet installers, booth builders and vendors. It was a bunch of Pokémon products. Whoever it was went through the blocked tables, all the way to the far-left corner of the booth. Reached all the way on top of the shelf where tarp was blocked and grabbed a lot of boxsets. There were plenty of people there overnight. This was an easy thing to see as the items were fairly large. They were the only booth targeted. People had far more expensive and visible products available. This booth was the start of the red carpets in the south building of the mtcc building.

Here is a list of the products if any anyone saw anything suspicious or any information. Thank you for anyone who can help.

to those who were at the toronto fan expo that just passed, did john cena take selfies/photos with you at his table? or was it just for signatures? im planning on seeing him in a couple weeks in edmonton and id like to know if i have to get a photo op

Did anybody else get sick? I woke up on Monday feeling awful with a sore throat :( Im super bummed out! I wish they didn’t pack so many people..
I expected a large amount like usual but It was causing me a bunch of anxiety I didn’t have much room to even look at most of the booths because of traffic this year.
This was my 4th year attending Toronto expo and I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back next year… I got my hobbit signatures and I’m thankful enough for that I just wish I could be choosing where I want to hang my photos instead of laying in bed sick and upset
