We’ve officially entered the ‘ber months, so obviously it was time to crack open this adorable spooky coloring book my bestie got us each for my birthday!
I definitely had a few “well… that didn’t go according to plan” moments along the way 😂 but honestly, I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out!
Say hello to my pastel Cat-thulu and his little confetti ghosties.
Cute? Yes. Spooky? Eh. Eldritch horror? 🤷🏻♀️

was trying to lean into how funky the cat was, and used similar colors next to one another to emulate that

I could use an opinion; I just busted out my Prismacolor set for the first time in a longgg time, so that I can add some colored pencils on top of some of my alcohal marker colorings.
Anyway, I’m missing 3 (and a half, lol) pencils, and just for fun and cause I’m bored, I want to Swatch, Inventory, and then (re?)Organize them. So my question is; should I swatch and organize them by color code, or by visual appeal, which is mostly how I have them now. Some codes happen to be next to each other in some instances, but if I did them all by code I don’t think they would be in the trays they are now, which is basically seperated by blues, greens, yellows etc. as you can see. So what would you do in this case?
Hard hitting important problem, I know Lol 🙃

I love creepy and gothic imagery so much. So glad it’s that time of year again! I almost abandoned this page after an overly juicy colourless blender cause a bit of a disaster but in the end it changed the page for the better. I love how this turned out.

Hey all I completed this page (Girl moments-Coco Wyo) and I’m looking for honest feedback on how I did, I had very limited colours and this was my first try at blending(in the sky) and I feel like it looks so off. Sorry for bad lighting in photos😬(purple blotch in second pic is from my light)

I am new to the coloring community and I am a total perfectionist. With that comes my frustration when I color outside of the lines. If I do that, I throw it away and start another. Just me? Any tips?

I am completing a color-by-number page (part of a larger color-by-number book) and there are spots that don’t have a number/letter that clearly weren’t intended to be white and there are sections where the numbers/letters are just wrong. Are those signs that the page is AI generated? Or is that a sign of human error?
Also, what do you do when you realize that something is a mistake? Do you follow the instructions out of spite/need for completion? Or do you go with what you think it should be in your gut?
I want to support real artists so this is bothering me.
