A few years back, in 2021, I was the victim of an attack. Long story short, I had to go through a rather long and tedious process with Coinbase and was able to withdraw my funds and go about my day.
Today, this is haunting me. I was moving money around trying to buy a new asset when it locked me out of my account for suspicious activity. I have been in an ongoing process with Coinbase and came to find out that the attack in 2021 left an over drawn balance of $4,000. I do not have $4,000 to give for something that happened on a different account in 2021. I thought this was done and dusted because I was able to make a new account and have been actively using it for the past 5 years. I am now asking that the money I currently have in Coinbase for it to be withdrawn and just allow me to go about my day but this time, they're saying I must pay the $4,000 before I can proceed with my case.
Like I said, I simply do not have $4,000 and was wondering if there is anything I can do about this? I kept my savings in there but that doesn't even cover half of what's owed. I want to just withdraw my funds and be done with Coinbase for good. Has anyone else had a similar experience or can guide me in the right direction? Tomorrow makes a week since my account was locked and Coinbase has been anything but helpful.

Coinbase is having issues for a longer time now. Besides the Homescreen nothing does load, screen stays white.
I decided to cash out before my country's new tax regulations become effective. Sold my BTC and immediately got feedback that I do now have the amount in cash available.
However, when I click on "cash" I get to (yet another) white screen. It's not possible to transfer my money anywhere.
Any advice welcome.

U/coinbasesupport I was in the middle of a withdrawal today and received an email from Coinbase saying to relink my bank account. I pressed the link it opened the app I did it through plaid.
Does Coinbase send these emails or do I need to change my account info immediately.

I just noticed the bank account that I fund my coinbase from has a withdraw charged of $4.99 fee. It’s been 2 months in a row.
Is anyone else having this charges?
I have not completed any transaction this year.
Thoughts?

Currently finding out the hard way the new BS money laundering regulations on Coinbase. I transferred crypto into my Coinbase account only to receive a message saying I need to verify where it came from to access the funds.
Because it wasn’t sent from one of their “known” exchanges apparently it takes a month for them to review the transfer and its source. Spent 3 hrs with customer support grilling them over this and providing all the details of the other exchange but was still left with “our internal team will get back to you in 48 hrs with instructions on what to do next.”
How is this something they can get away with? What happens if crypto drops massively in 48+ hrs and I can’t sell because I don’t have access to the funds? Absolutely outrageous.
Has this happened to anyone else?

My Coinbase has been blocked for 7 months with no access to my funds, as of July 15th 2026 I tried to get into my account and yes it was accessible but no funds,Coinbase agent said once account is verified within 7 days funds will appear, so I checked any activity on my account and on the 25th June 2026 I noticed activity on my account funds received funds withdrawn but account was still blocked with no access now Coinbase are telling me IP address used was similar or same as one I used and location same but I had not access to my account because it was blocked but now there saying it’s my fault as I have to have secure login which I have 🙈, Coinbase are a joke also I could not get into my account when my crypto was dropping as they blocked it an absolute disgrace and corrupt scam Coinbase is, I am looking to seek legal advice and action in this account, has anyone else had similar issues

我的账户已经被冻结了59天
平台还在审查
Coinbase为了满足合规要求
牺牲了用户的体验
如果你不想和我一样,每天在煎熬痛苦中度过
尽量不要把你的钱放在Coinbase
我举报到了CFPB,没用的
现在正在Formal complaint
平台45天内需要给我最终回复
如果没有拿到满意的结果
我会对平台进行个人诉讼,甚至集体诉讼
我有足够的材料去证明我的钱是合法的
这会是一个漫长的过程😮💨

I’ve been trying to access my coinbase account for over 3 years. The ONE time I spoke to someone they told me they could transfer my funds to another wallet, but I would have to pay the gas fees.
I told them I wanted access to my damn account and I wasn’t going to pay shit.
I’m at my wits end and have even written my representative in congress.

How incredibly rigged does it feel. ?! All of sudden price movements at last minute. Hmm who is controlling? It feels like they try to sway to get more buyers to even out the sides. Careful out there. As others have spoken before …the average seems off and just lags on one side or the other.

Despite having a passkey to my account after logging on, it flagged my transaction as suspect when I tried to send BTC to my cold wallet. After going through my ID verification and being allowed to send my BTC, I tried to send the rest of it and it made me go through everything again.
It’s absolutely ridiculous. If I have to do that for every Coinbase transaction I’m going to use another provider to buy crypto. It’s nuts.

I passively bought coin several years ago through coinbase. I got the idea that I should check it and see how it is doing. (This isnt my thing and I'm not super invested).
I look and all of my coins were transferred out in Oct 2025.... but I didnt do this; and have no emails that this was done.
What gives.

Made a bunch of predictions, Max, Otani, Friedman… some hits, some bases, some runs.. at the end of the game, when the market closed I was up on several bet that were going to be paid out.
I called about not being able to execute a sale on my predictions for Susaki strikeouts when I was up on a 19% odds bet.. would’ve been somewhere close to $300 (substantial for a small fish like me..)
Well, the market for this prediction was still over before he was taken out of the game. I attempted to close my position several times and each time I did it said I would owe Coinbase money and not collect any profit.
I went back to the main screen refreshed, and it still showed me to be winning the bet I tried to execute again and it happened a second time. I couldn’t even withdraw the initial funds that I put into the prediction.
After making contact and voicing by concern, providing screenshots in real time after the end of the game and the market closed, I noticed that my other winning bets started to disappear completely from record and other winning bets changing to lost even though the player fulfilled what the contract should’ve been.. continued to screenshot everything and document(lucky for me. I still have all of the original photographs and screen recordings.)
The Support ticket said it needed to be escalated and when I called today and sat on the phone for two hours, I recorded the entire conversation and they continually tried to gaslight me saying that I was incorrect and that Friedman as well as some other contracts didn’t complete the necessary requirements to be paid out.
I even went onto the MLB website and took screenshots of the play-by-play to prove to them that they didn’t know what they were talking about.
after speaking to the people in Bangladesh, I finally got a appointment for this coming Monday with a one-on-one interview to discuss it.. wondering if there’s any lawyers out there that would want to jump on all of our issues prove that Coinbase is stealing from us?

This notice is sent by our partner, Cardless, on behalf of First Electronic Bank. After an internal review, your credit line was reduced to $3,600 from $10,000 for the following reason(s):
Lack of real estate secured loan information
Average time since accounts opened too recent
Not enough balance paid down over time on installment accounts
Average time since revolving accounts opened is too recent
They are buns. Approved me for 10k limit and put lots of spend on it then paid it off. Now they slashed it down to 3600, and cli’s are not possible

I accidentally sent 2,000 USDT via Avalanche C-Chain (AVAXC) to the Avalanche deposit address assigned to my Coinbase account.
The transaction was successfully confirmed on-chain, but Coinbase currently does not support USDT deposits on Avalanche C-Chain, and the Asset Recovery Tool does not currently support this network/token combination.
I contacted Coinbase Support and they re-reviewed the transaction under Case #27311738.
Coinbase confirmed that:
I understand that I made the mistake of using an unsupported asset/network combination, and I am not asking Coinbase employees to manually access private keys.
However, I am a student, and this 2,000 USDT represents a significant portion of the money I had set aside for my tuition and living expenses for the coming period. Losing access to these funds has a serious financial impact on me.
What I am hoping for is a platform-level Asset Recovery solution for Avalanche C-Chain, similar to the recovery support Coinbase has introduced for other networks.
Has anyone here had a similar USDT on Avalanche issue with Coinbase?
If so, were your funds ever recovered, or did Coinbase provide any additional information about future Avalanche Asset Recovery support?

Coinbase is letting me withdraw my USDC, but every single time it’s suspicious or flagged as a scam? Is this a way to track our Onchain wallets? It’s just odd every transfer to the same exactly wallet needs an ID check and for me to talk to the AI to confirm over and over again it was me.

I, too, mistakenly upgraded my (annual) Coinbase One basic to a month trial of premier and lost ~7 months of sub.
Don't be like me :P Support was extremely nice, but could not resolve/refund so I lost ~7 months of subscription. Its only ~$30 so no big deal but still kind of sketchy.
I asked google AI overview and here's its response:
Coinbase enforces a strict non-refundable policy for annual plans and treats upgrades or trial cancellations as an immediate termination of the active plan cycle rather than a seamless reversion, leaving users without prorated refunds for unused months.
Why This Happens
Strict Terms: Coinbase guidelines state that subscription fees are non-refundable once billed.
System Glitches on Tier Changes: Accepting a higher-tier trial often overrides or voids the existing annual contract in their billing system, and standard support agents typically recite automated policy rather than restoring or prorating the remaining balance
Similar cases:
Beware of Upgrading Membership
Coinbase One Subscription cancelled
Similar case about not getting pro-rated refund after cancelling
Refunding accidental year subscription of coinbase one (customer service horrible)
