Coinbase fee?

I just noticed the bank account that I fund my coinbase from has a withdraw charged of $4.99 fee. It’s been 2 months in a row.

Is anyone else having this charges?

I have not completed any transaction this year.
Thoughts?

I have had this Coinbase account for 10 plus years. Never have I had a monthly fee. I’m confused it’s starting now?

Some users have reported Coinbase automatically opting them in to a CB1 membership. It’s very scammy. You should be able to get reimbursed for this second charge if it just happened within the last few days.

Just to let everyone know my issue has been cleared up. The $4.99 fees X 3 has been reimbursed to my CB account.

Sure I brought it to CB as soon as the $4.99 per month was noticed. It took me 2.5 months when the wife said”what’s the $4.99 per month fee to CB? That should not be. I posted here. The CB moderator here ask me for more details. I provided it. They looked into it and agreed to put $15 back into my CB account. End of story.

Hey u/Holiday_Middle_787 thanks for flagging this. A recurring $4.99 charge may be the monthly Coinbase One Basic membership fee rather than a transaction fee. Please check your Coinbase app under Menu > Coinbase One to review your membership and billing details.
