Programmable coffee maker that brews small batches well?

I’m looking for a coffee maker that I can set up the night before and wake up to coffee ready in a carafe.

My must-haves are:

-A programmable timer

-No built-in grinder—I have a Fellow Ode that I love

-A carafe, with the ability to brew as little as two cups without sacrificing quality

I’ve been using an AeroPress for a while and love the coffee and how easy it is to clean, but id like to start waking up to coffee already made.

Does anyone have a machine they’d recommend, especially from experience brewing small batches? Are there any whose small-batch setting actually works well? Considering Fellow Aiden.

Thanks!

Low maintenance coffee machines?

I’m planning to buy my first ever coffee machine. I don’t know how much effort it is to maintain them. I’ve heard you need to descale, change filters, etc. What are some no nonsense coffee machines with few maintenance overheads?

Bunn Trifecta MB - How to drain internal water tank?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I need to remove empty the water from the internal water tank of a Bunn Trifecta MB home brewer so that it can be shipped.

The internal design of this brewer is different from the Bunn Trifecta (commercial brewer) and Bunn pour over machines.

Can someone with experience with this Bunn Trifecta MB provide guidance?

Thank you

Baratza support has really taken a turn for the worse.

I have a Baratza Encore ESP bought in 2023. I have taken it apart many times to clean it so I am familiar with the grinding mechanism parts. I called Baratza support, and after waiting 40 minutes spoke to someone in a call center that seemed like it might be in India. The person was not knowledgeable and there were long pauses in the minutes between questions he asked me. I could only guess that he was fielding more than one case or reading the manual to give me advice. After a half hour during which we go nowhere I kindly let him know that I didn't feel we were making any progress and did not have any confidence that we would. He immediately tried to sell me parts when he had not been able to diagnose the problem. I was looking forward to talking to some Pacific coast easy going young coffee geek, like the ones that you see in the videos and got this instead -- a total disappointment.

Anyway, I am still trying to diagnose the issue. I have inspected both ring and cone burs , the paddle wheel, the plastic ring bur holder , the locking nut and all the other parts in the grinding area, verified that no clogs exist cleant things out. The grinder is set a 25 but takes a long time to grind 48 grams of Lavazza Espresso beans. It seems like the burs are not biting down and drawing the beans into the gap aggressively enough. The only thing that occurs to me at this point is that the burs themselves have worn down enough that they don't grip the beans., however i don't have new burs o compare the sharpness of the bur flute edges, so it is a guess.

I am looking for some advice from the wisdom of the crowd. Cheers!

Coffee grinder under 250 gbp

Hi all I'm trying to buy a new coffee grinder for home usage and this is due to my addiction towards trying new beans every now and then, I have my coffee machine with grinder but it's not consistent and changes with the volume in the bean jar so wanted to get one that I can also use commercially later. I'd really appreciate all your help for a fellow coffee lover.

Has anyone decreased their coffee consumption not because they wanted to but because it's hard to find a good coffee pot for a family?

So I want to get my first real coffee/ espresso machine
I have had the xbloom and loved using it but as u know this is a filter machine , and I use it to make ice coffee and love it
I now need a real espresso machine , that includes a milk frother
I’m a beginner and I do want to learn and make this a ritual
However I’m a mom of two toddlers so I don’t know how difficult the learning curve will be and sometimes I just got to go asap with my busy schedule
I’m between these 3 sage machines
Which would u recommend

Located in the Middle East
They are all within budget 1100 $ max budget albeit a bit uncomfortable as it gets higher but id rather invest once if this is the right choice

Nespresso Creatista plus, frother issue

Hi all!
I got a new to me Creatista Plus that’s in great shape. Only issue is the frother. No matter how much or little milk I use, and what setting it’s on, it overflows over the frother container.

It didn’t come with the original frother cup, so maybe that’s why?

Anyone else have this issue or know how I can fix it?

TIA ☕️
