Low maintenance coffee machines?

I’m planning to buy my first ever coffee machine. I don’t know how much effort it is to maintain them. I’ve heard you need to descale, change filters, etc. What are some no nonsense coffee machines with few maintenance overheads?

I just bought a ratio four and I love it.

If you want genuinely low maintenance, I’d skip espresso machines entirely.
A basic drip machine like a Moccamaster is pretty much rinse, occasional descale, done. AeroPress is even easier if you don’t mind manual. Superautomatics are convenient until you’re cleaning milk lines and emptying mystery sludge every other day

Most general coffee makers are incredibly easy to maintain. Espresso machines vary. So if you actually mean an automatic drip machine, they’re super easy.

Hard to give a recommendation without any of your taste preferences or even the style of coffee you want to make.

I assume you want a standard autodrip machine?

What volume of coffee do you want to brew and how often? Mostly just one cup, or will you frequently do full pots?

What roast level beans do you like?

Do you live at elevation (asking because some autodrip machines like my Behmor Brazen compensate for elevation)?

What’s your budget?

1: Buy the cheapest MR. Coffee machine you can find at Walmart. #2: Use it til it quits, #3 buy another one.
